¹⁹ When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

²⁰ And when he had said this, he showed unto them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

²¹ Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

²² And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:

²³ whose soever sins ye forgive, they are forgiven unto them; whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.

²⁴ But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.

²⁶ And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

²⁷ Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and see my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and put it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

²⁸ Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.

²⁹ Jesus saith unto him, Because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

³⁰ Many other signs therefore did Jesus in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book:

³¹ but these are written, that ye may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye may have life in his name.

¹⁹ Then, that same first day of the week, at evening, although the doors were locked where the disciples were assembled (for fear of the Jews), Jesus came and stood in their midst. He said to them, “Peace be with you.”

²⁰ When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. Then the disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

²¹ So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”

²² When he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

²³ If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them. If you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

²⁴ Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, wasn’t with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ Therefore the other disciples were telling him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he told them, “Unless I see the imprint of the nails in His hands, put my finger into the nail prints, and put my hand into His side, I won’t believe.”

²⁶ After eight days, His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors having been locked, and stood in their midst, and said, “Peace be with you.”

²⁷ Then He told Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands. Reach your hand here, and put it into my side. Don’t be doubting, but believing.”

²⁸ Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my God!”

²⁹ Jesus told him, “Thomas, you have believed because you have seen me. Blessed are those who haven’t seen, and yet have believed.”

³⁰ Truly, Jesus also performed many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which aren’t written in this book,

³¹ but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, God’s Son; and so that believing you may have life in His name.

¹⁹ On that Sunday evening we disciples gathered together. The doors were locked { We locked the doors} because we were afraid that the Jewish leaders SYN might arrest us. Suddenly Jesus appeared miraculously and stood among us! He said to us, “May God give you inner peace!”

²⁰ After he said that, he showed us the wounds in his hands and his side. We were very happy when we saw the Lord!

²¹ Jesus said to us again, “May God give you peace! Just like my Father sent me, now I am sending you to proclaim my message.”

²² After saying that, he breathed on us and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit!

²³ If you forgive people for their having sinned, God will already have forgiven them. If you do not forgive them, God has not forgiven them.”

²⁴ One of us disciples, Thomas, the one whom we called The Twin, was not with us when Jesus appeared to us.

²⁵ When the rest of us told him that we had seen the Lord, he said to us, “If I do not see the marks of the nails in his hands and put my fingers in the place where the nails were, and put my hands into the place in his side where the soldier thrust the spear, I will certainly not believe that he was the one you saw!”

²⁶ A week later we were in the house again. This time Thomas was with us. Although the doors had been locked { we had locked the doors}, Jesus again appeared miraculously and stood among us. He said, “May God give peace to you!”

²⁷ Then he showed Thomas his hands and said to him, “Put your finger here! Look at the wounds in my hands! Reach out your hand and put it in the wound in my side! Stop doubting LIT/DOU! Instead, believe that I am alive again!”

²⁸ Thomas answered him, “ You are truly my Lord and my God!”

²⁹ Jesus said to him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed that about me. But God is truly pleased with those who have believed that about me, even though they have not seen me!”

³⁰ We disciples saw Jesus perform many other miracles, but I have not written about them in this book.

³¹ But these that I have written about, I have written about them in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, ◄the Son of God/the man who is also God►, and in order that you may have eternal life by trusting ◄in him /in what he has done for you► MTY.

²⁴ Now Thomas, one of the twelve, named Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ So the other disciples said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, If I do not see in his hands the print of the nails and put my finger into the print of the nails, and if I do not put my hand into his side, I will never have belief.

²⁶ And after eight days, his disciples were again in the house and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were shut, Jesus came, and taking his place in the middle of them, he said, May peace be with you!

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, Put out your finger, and see my hands; and put your hand here into my side: and be no longer in doubt but have belief.

²⁸ And Thomas said in answer, My Lord and my God!

²⁹ Jesus said to him, Because you have seen me you have belief: a blessing will be on those who have belief though they have not seen me!

³⁰ A number of other signs Jesus did before his disciples which are not recorded in this book:

³¹ But these are recorded, so that you may have faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that, having this faith you may have life in his name.

²¹ So Jesus said to them again: “Peace to you! Just as the Father sent me, I also send you.”

²² Upon saying this He breathed on them and said: “Receive Holy Spirit!

²³ To whomever you forgive the sins, they are forgiven to them; to whomever you retain, they have been retained.”

²⁴ Now one of the twelve, Thomas (called Twin), was not with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ So the other disciples said to him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “If I do not see the nail prints in His hands and put my finger into the nail prints, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe!”

²⁶ Well after eight days His disciples were inside again, and Thomas with them. The doors were locked again; Jesus came and stood in the middle, and said, “Peace to you!”

²⁷ Then He says to Thomas: “Bring your finger here and perceive my hands; bring your hand and put it into my side; do not be unbelieving but believing!”

²⁸ Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”

²⁹ Jesus says to him: “Because you have observed me, you have believed. Blessed are those who believe without seeing!”

³⁰ Now then, Jesus actually performed many other miraculous signs in the presence of His disciples, that are not written in this book;

³¹ but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have Life through His Name.

¹⁹ That evening, on the first day of the week, as the disciples were meeting together behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “May you have peace.”

²⁰ After this greeting he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were full of joy to see the Lord.

²¹ “May you have peace!” Jesus told them again. “In the same way the Father sent me, so I'm sending you.”

²² Saying this, he breathed on them, and told them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

²³ If you forgive anyone's sins, they are forgiven; if you hold them unforgiven, unforgiven they remain.”

²⁴ One of the twelve disciples, Thomas, who was called the Twin, wasn't with them when Jesus came.

²⁵ So the other disciples told him, “We've seen the Lord.” But he replied, “I won't believe it unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger in them, and put my hand in his side.”

²⁶ One week later the disciples were together inside the house; and Thomas was with them. The doors were closed, and Jesus came and stood among them. “May you have peace!” he said.

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and look at my hands. Put your hand in the wound on my side. Stop doubting and trust in me!”

²⁸ “My Lord and my God!” Thomas responded.

²⁹ “You trust in me because you've seen me,” Jesus told him. “Happy are those that haven't seen me yet still trust in me.”

³⁰ Jesus did many other miraculous signs while he was with his disciples that are not recorded in this book.

³¹ But these are written down here so that you may trust that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by trusting in him as he is you will have life.

²⁰ And when he had so saide, he shewed vnto them his handes, and his side. Then were the disciples glad when they had seene the Lord.

²¹ Then saide Iesus to them againe, Peace be vnto you: as my Father sent me, so sende I you.

²² And when he had saide that, he breathed on them, and saide vnto them, Receiue the holy Ghost.

²³ Whosoeuers sinnes ye remit, they are remitted vnto them: and whosoeuers sinnes ye reteine, they are reteined.

²⁴ But Thomas one of the twelue, called Didymus, was not with them when Iesus came.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore saide vnto him, We haue seene the Lord: but he said vnto them, Except I see in his handes the print of the nailes, and put my finger into the print of the nailes, and put mine hand into his side, I will not beleeue it.

²⁶ And eight dayes after, againe his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Then came Iesus, when the doores were shut, and stood in the middes, and said, Peace be vnto you.

²⁷ After saide he to Thomas, Put thy finger here, and see mine hands, and put forth thine hand, and put it into my side, and be not faithlesse, but faithfull.

²⁸ Then Thomas answered, and said vnto him, Thou art my Lord, and my God.

²⁹ Iesus said vnto him, Thomas, because thou hast seene me, thou beleeuest: blessed are they that haue not seene, and haue beleeued.

³⁰ And many other signes also did Iesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this booke.

³¹ But these things are written, that ye might beleeue, that Iesus is that Christ that Sonne of God, and that in beleeuing ye might haue life through his Name.

²⁹ Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

³⁰ And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

³¹ but these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.

¹⁹ When therefore it was evening on that day, which was the first day of the week, and the doors where the disciples were had been shut for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be to you!

²⁰ And having said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples therefore were glad, when they saw the Lord.

²⁵ The other disciples therefore said to him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the place of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I shall not believe.

²⁶ And after eight days the disciples were again within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be to you!

²⁷ Then he saith to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands, and reach forth thy hand, and put it into my side; and be not faithless, but believing.

²⁸ Thomas answered and said to him, My Lord and my God!

²⁶ A week later the disciples were again in the house, and Thomas with them. After the doors had been shut, Jesus came and stood amongst them, and said, “Peace be with you.”

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Place your finger here, and look at my hands; and place your hand here, and put it into my side; and do not refuse to believe, but believe.”

²⁸ And Thomas exclaimed, “My Master, and my God!”

²⁹ “Is it because you have seen me that you have believed?” said Jesus. “Blessed are they who have not seen, and yet have believed!”

²² When he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive Ruach haKodesh Spirit of the Holiness!

²⁴ But Thomas Seeker of truth, one of the twelve, called Didymus Twin, was not with them when Yeshua Salvation came.

²⁷ After that sayde he to Thomas: bringe thy fynger hether and se my hondes and bringe thy honde and thrust it into my syde and be not faythlesse but belevynge.

²⁸ Thomas answered and sayde vnto him: my Lorde and my God.

²⁹ Iesus sayde vnto him. Thomas because thou hast sene me therfore thou belevest: Happy are they that have not sene and yet beleve.

²¹ And he seith to hem eft, Pees to you; as the fadir sente me, Y sende you.

²² Whanne he had seid this, he blewe on hem, and seide, Take ye the Hooli Goost;

²³ whos synnes ye foryyuen, tho ben foryouun to hem; and whos ye withholden, tho ben withholdun.

²⁴ But Thomas, oon of the twelue, that is seid Didimus, was not with hem, whanne Jhesus cam.

²⁵ Therfor the othere disciplis seiden, We han seyn the Lord. And he seide to hem, But Y se in hise hondis the fitchinge of the nailis, and putte my fyngur in to the places of the nailis, and putte myn hond in to his side, Y schal not bileue.

²⁶ And after eiyte daies eftsoone hise disciplis weren with ynne, and Thomas with hem. Jhesus cam, while the yatis weren schit, and stood in the myddil, and seide, Pees to you.

²⁷ Afterward he seith to Thomas, Putte in here thi fyngur, and se myn hondis, and putte hidur thin hond, and putte in to my side, and nyle thou be vnbileueful, but feithful.

²⁹ Jhesus seith to him, Thomas, for thou hast seyn me, thou bileuedist; blessid ben thei, that seyn not, and han bileued.

³¹ But these ben writun, that ye bileue, that Jhesus `is Crist, the sone of God, and that ye bileuynge haue lijf in his name.

³⁰ Many indeed, therefore, other signs also did Jesus before his disciples, that are not written in this book;
