¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and they shall become one flock, one shepherd.

¹⁷ Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.

¹⁸ No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.

¹⁹ There arose a division again among the Jews because of these words.

²⁰ And many of them said, He hath a demon, and is mad; why hear ye him?

²¹ Others said, These are not the sayings of one possessed with a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?

²² And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem:

²³ it was winter; and Jesus was walking in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

²⁴ The Jews therefore came round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou hold us in suspense? If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.

²⁵ Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, these bear witness of me.

²⁶ But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

²⁸ and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.

²⁹ My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

¹⁷ For this reason the Father sincerely loves me, because I lay down my life, so that I may take it up again.

¹⁸ No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down of my own free will. I have the authority to lay it down, and I have the authority to take it up again. I received this commandment from my Father.”

¹⁹ The Jews were divided again, because of these words.

²⁰ Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?”

²¹ Others were saying, “These aren’t the sayings of a demon-possessed person. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

²² At that time the Feast of Dedication took place in Jerusalem. It was winter,

²³ and Jesus was walking in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.

²⁴ Then the Jews gathered around Him, and asked Him, “How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly.”

²⁵ Jesus answered, “I told you, but you don’t believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name testify about me,

²⁶ but you don’t believe, because you aren’t of my sheep.

²⁷ My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me.

²⁸ I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one is able to snatch them out of my hand.

²⁹ My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

¹⁶ And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

²⁴ Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

²⁵ Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.

²⁶ But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

²⁹ My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

¹⁶ And I have other people who are not Jews who will some day belong to me. They will be like MET sheep from another sheep pen. I must bring them to God/myself also. They will pay attention to what I say, and eventually all those who belong to me will be like one flock, and I will be like MET their one shepherd.

¹⁷ The reason my Father loves me is that I will sacrifice my life. But after I do that, I will become alive again.

¹⁸ No one is causing me to die. Instead, I have chosen to sacrifice myself. I have authority to sacrifice myself and I have authority to become alive again. That is what my Father has commanded me to do.”

¹⁹ After hearing these words that Jesus said, the Jews were divided again.

²⁰ Many of them said, “A demon is controlling him and has caused him to become crazy. ◄It is useless to listen to him!/Why should we listen to him?► RHQ”

²¹ But others said, “What he is saying is not something a man whom a demon is controlling would say. ◄No demon could enable a blind man to see like he did!/ How could a demon enable a blind man to see like he did?► RHQ”

²² Then it was time for the celebration to remember when our ancestors rededicated the Temple in Jerusalem. It was in winter.

²³ Jesus was in the Temple courtyard, walking in the place that people called King Solomon's porch.

²⁴ The Jewish leaders SYN gathered around him and said, “How long will you keep us from knowing for sure if you are the Messiah? If you are the Messiah, tell us clearly!”

²⁵ Jesus answered them, “I have told you that I am the Messiah, but you do not believe me! You should know who I am because of the miracles I do with my Father's authority MTY.

²⁶ But instead, you do not believe in me because you do not belong to me. You are like MET sheep who belong to a different shepherd.

²⁷ Just like sheep heed the voice of their true shepherd MET, my people pay attention to what I say. I know them, and they have become my disciples.

²⁸ I will give them eternal life. No one will separate them from me, not ever. No one shall ever pull them away from belonging to me.

²⁹ Those that my Father has given to me are more precious than anything else (OR, My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than anything that opposes them). So no one can pull them away from belonging to him MTY.

¹⁶ I have other sheep which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

¹⁹ There was a division again among the Jews because of these words.

²⁰ And a number of them said, He has an evil spirit and is out of his mind; why do you give ear to him?

²¹ Others said, These are not the words of one who has an evil spirit. Is it possible for an evil spirit to make blind people see?

²² Then came the feast of the opening of the Temple in Jerusalem: it was winter;

²³ And Jesus was walking in the Temple, in Solomon's covered way.

²⁴ Then the Jews came round him, saying, how long are you going to keep us in doubt? If you are the Christ, say so clearly.

²⁵ Jesus said in answer, I have said it and you have no belief: the works which I do in my Father's name, these give witness about me.

²⁶ But you have no belief because you are not of my sheep.

²⁷ My sheep give ear to my voice, and I have knowledge of them, and they come after me:

²⁸ And I give them eternal life; they will never come to destruction, and no one will ever take them out of my hand.

²⁹ That which my Father has given to me has more value than all; and no one is able to take anything out of the Father's hand.

¹⁶ And I have other sheep which are not of this fold: those also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

¹⁷ On this account the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again.

¹⁸ No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down and I have authority to take it again. I have received this commandment of my Father.

²⁰ but many of them said, He has a demon and raves; why do ye hear him?

²¹ Others said, These sayings are not those of one that is possessed by a demon. Can a demon open blind people's eyes?

²² Now the feast of the dedication was celebrating at Jerusalem, and it was winter.

²³ And Jesus walked in the temple in the porch of Solomon.

²⁴ The Jews therefore surrounded him, and said to him, Until when dost thou hold our soul in suspense? If thou art the Christ, say so to us openly.

²⁵ Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye do not believe. The works which I do in my Father's name, these bear witness concerning me:

²⁶ but ye do not believe, for ye are not of my sheep, as I told you.

²⁷ My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;

²⁸ and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand.

²⁹ My Father who has given them to me is greater than all, and no one can seize out of the hand of my Father.

¹⁶ I have other sheep that are not in this sheepfold. I must bring them too. They will listen to my voice and there will be one flock with one shepherd.

¹⁷ This is why the Father loves me, because I lay down my life so I may take it up again.

¹⁸ No one takes it from me; I choose to lay it down. I have the right to give it up, and I have the right to take it back. This is the command my Father gave me.”

¹⁹ The Jews were again divided in their opinion about Jesus over these words.

²⁰ Many of them said, “He's demon-possessed! He's mad! Why are you listening to him?”

²¹ Others said, “These aren't the words of someone who's demon-possessed. Besides, a demon can't open eyes that are blind.”

²² It was winter, and the time of the Festival of Dedication in Jerusalem.

²³ Jesus was walking in the Temple through Solomon's porch. The Jews surrounded him, asking,

²⁴ “How long are you going to keep us hanging in suspense? If you are the Messiah then tell us plainly!”

²⁵ Jesus replied, “I already told you but you refuse to believe it. The miracles I do in my Father's name prove who I am.

²⁶ You don't believe me because you are not my sheep.

²⁷ My sheep recognize my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

²⁸ I give them eternal life; they shall never be lost, and no one can snatch them from me.

²⁹ My Father who gave them to me is greater than anyone else; no one can snatch them from him.

¹⁶ Other sheepe I haue also, which are not of this folde: them also must I bring, and they shall heare my voyce: and there shalbe one sheepefolde, and one shepheard.

¹⁷ Therefore doeth my Father loue me, because I lay downe my life, that I might take it againe.

¹⁸ No man taketh it from me, but I lay it downe of my selfe: I haue power to lay it downe, and haue power to take it againe: this commandement haue I receiued of my Father.

¹⁹ Then there was a dissension againe among the Iewes for these sayings,

²⁰ And many of them sayd, He hath a deuill, and is mad: why heare ye him?

²¹ Other sayd, These are not the wordes of him that hath a deuill: can the deuill open the eyes of the blinde?

²² And it was at Hierusalem the feast of the Dedication, and it was winter.

²³ And Iesus walked in the Temple, in Salomons porche.

²⁴ Then came the Iewes round about him, and sayd vnto him, Howe long doest thou make vs dout? If thou be that Christ, tell vs plainely.

²⁵ Iesus answered them, I tolde you, and ye beleeue not: the workes that I doe in my Fathers Name, they beare witnes of me.

²⁶ But ye beleeue not: for ye are not of my sheepe, as I sayd vnto you.

¹⁹ In consequence of these words a difference of opinion again arose amongst the people.

²⁰ Many of them said, “He is possessed by a demon and is mad; why do you listen to him?”

²¹ Others said, “This is not the teaching of one who is possessed by a demon. Can a demon give sight to the blind?”

²² Soon after this the Festival of the Rededication was held at Jerusalem.

²⁴ when the people gathered around him, and said, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so frankly.”

²⁵ “I have told you so,” replied Jesus, “and you do not believe me. The work that I am doing in my Father's name bears testimony to me.

²³ It was winter; and Jesus was walking in the Temple Courts, in the Colonnade of Solomon,

²⁴ when the people gathered around him, and said, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us so frankly.”

²⁵ “I have told you so,” replied Jesus, “and you do not believe me. The work that I am doing in my Father's name bears testimony to me.

²⁶ But you do not believe me, because you are not of my flock.

²⁷ My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me;

²⁸ and I give them eternal life, and they will not be lost; nor will anyone snatch them out of my hands.

²⁹ What my Father has entrusted to me is more than all else; and no one can snatch anything out of the Father's hands.

¹⁶ I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

¹⁷ For this reason haAbba ·the Father· has agapao ·total devotion love· unto me, because I lay down my life so that I may take it again.

¹⁸ No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. I received this commandment from 'Avi ·my Father·.”

¹⁹ Therefore a division arose again among the Jews Praisers because of these words.

²⁰ Many of them said, “He has a demon, and is insane! Why do you listen to him?”

²¹ Others said, “These are not the sayings of one possessed by a demon. It is not possible for a demon to open the eyes of the blind, is it?”

²² Then came the Festival of Chanukah ·Dedication· at Jerusalem City of peace. (This occurs in the ninth month 25th day to tenth month 2nd day).

²³ It was winter, and Yeshua Salvation was walking in the temple, in Solomon Peaceable, Recompense’s portico (where one can see the four giant menorahs).

²⁴ The Jews Praisers therefore came around him and said to him, “How long will you hold us in suspense? If you are the Messiah Anointed one, tell us plainly.”

²⁵ Yeshua Salvation answered them, “I told you, and you don’t believe. The works that I do in 'Avi ·my Father·’s name, these testify about me.

²⁶ But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you.

¹⁸ No man taketh it from me: but I put it awaye of my selfe. I have power to put it from me and have power to take it agayne: This commaundment have I receaved of my father.

¹⁹ And ther was a dissencion agayne amonge the Iewes for these sayinges

²⁰ and many of them sayd. He hath the devyll and is mad: why heare ye him?

²¹ Other sayde these are not the wordes of him that hath the devyll. Can the devyll open the eyes of the blynde?

²² And it was at Ierusalem the feaste of the dedicacion and it was wynter:

²³ and Iesus walked in Salomons porche.

²⁴ Then came the Iewes rounde aboute him and sayde vnto him: How longe dost thou make vs doute? Yf thou be Christ tell vs playnly.

²⁵ Iesus answered them: I tolde you and ye beleve not. The workes that I do in my fathers name they beare witnes of me.

²⁶ But ye beleve not because ye are not of my shepe. As I sayde vnto you:

²⁷ my shepe heare my voyce and I knowe them and they folowe me and

²⁸ I geve vnto the eternall lyfe and they shall never perisshe nether shall eny man plucke the oute of my honde.

²⁹ My father which gave the me is greatter then all and no man is able to take them out of my fathers honde.

¹⁷ This is why the Father loves me: I lay down my life so that I may take it again.

¹⁷ Therefore the Father loveth me, for I put (forth) my life, that again I take it. (And so the Father loveth me, for I lay down my life, so that I can receive it back again.)

(No one taketh it from me, but I lay it down by myself. I have the power to put it forth, and I have the power to receive it back again. This commandment I have received from my Father.)

¹⁶ Y haue othere scheep, that ben not of this foolde, and it bihoueth me to brynge hem togidir, and thei schulen here my vois; and it schal be maad o foolde and o scheepherde.

¹⁷ Therfor the fadir loueth me, for Y putte my lijf, that eftsoone Y take it.

¹⁸ No man takith it fro me, but Y putte it of my silf. Y haue power to putte it, and Y haue power to take it ayen. This maundement Y haue takun of my fadir.

¹⁹ Eft dissencioun was maad among the Jewis for these wordis.

²⁰ And many of hem seiden, He hath a deuel, and maddith; what heren ye hym?

²¹ Othere men seiden, These wordis ben not of a man that hath a feend. Whether the deuel may opene the iyen of blynde men?

²² But the feestis of halewyng of the temple weren maad in Jerusalem, and it was wyntir.

²³ And Jhesus walkide in the temple, in the porche of Salomon.

²⁴ Therfor the Jewis camen aboute hym, and seiden to hym, Hou long takist thou awei oure soule? if thou art Crist, seie thou to vs opynli.

²⁵ Jhesus answerde to hem, Y speke to you, and ye bileuen not; the werkis that Y do in the name of my fadir, beren witnessyng of me.

²⁶ But ye bileuen not, for ye ben not of my scheep.

²⁷ My scheep heren my vois, and Y knowe hem, and thei suen me.

²⁸ And Y yyue to hem euerelastynge lijf, and thei schulen not perische with outen ende, and noon schal rauysche hem fro myn hoond.

²⁹ That thing that my fadir yaf to me, is more than alle thingis; and no man may rauysche fro my fadris hoond.

¹⁶ and other sheep I have that are not of this fold, these also it behoveth me to bring, and my voice they will hear, and there shall become one flock — one shepherd.

¹⁷ 'Because of this doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that again I may take it;

¹⁸ no one doth take it from me, but I lay it down of myself; authority I have to lay it down, and authority I have again to take it; this command I received from my Father.'

¹⁹ Therefore, again, there came a division among the Jews, because of these words,

²⁰ and many of them said, 'He hath a demon, and is mad, why do ye hear him?'

²¹ others said, 'These sayings are not those of a demoniac; is a demon able blind men's eyes to open?'

²² And the dedication in Jerusalem came, and it was winter,

²³ and Jesus was walking in the temple, in the porch of Solomon,

²⁴ the Jews, therefore, came round about him, and said to him, 'Till when our soul dost thou hold in suspense? if thou art the Christ, tell us freely.'

²⁵ Jesus answered them, 'I told you, and ye do not believe; the works that I do in the name of my Father, these testify concerning me;

²⁶ but ye do not believe, for ye are not of my sheep,

²⁷ according as I said to you: My sheep my voice do hear, and I know them, and they follow me,

²⁸ and life age-during I give to them, and they shall not perish — to the age, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand;

²⁹ my Father, who hath given to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to pluck out of the hand of my Father;
