²⁸ And they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁹ We know that God hath spoken unto Moses: but as for this man, we know not whence he is.

³⁰ The man answered and said unto them, Why, herein is the marvel, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he opened mine eyes.

³¹ We know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and do his will, him he heareth.

³² Since the world began it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of a man born blind.

³³ If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.

³⁴ They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.

³⁵ Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and finding him, he said, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?

³⁶ He answered and said, And who is he, Lord, that I may believe on him?

³⁷ Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and he it is that speaketh with thee.

³⁸ And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

³⁹ And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.

⁴⁰ Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said unto him, Are we also blind?

⁴¹ Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye would have no sin: but now ye say, We see: your sin remaineth.

²⁸ Then they became abusive towards him and said, “You are that man’s disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.

²⁹ We know that God spoke to Moses, but as for this man, we don’t know where He is from.”

³⁰ The man answered, “How amazing! You don’t know where He comes from, yet He opened my eyes.

³¹ We know that God doesn’t hear sinners, but if anyone is God-fearing, and does His will, He hears him.

³² Since the beginning of time it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind.

³³ If this man weren’t from God, He could do nothing.”

³⁴ To this they replied, “Who are you to teach us? You were born entirely in sin!” Then they threw him out.

³⁵ Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

³⁶ He answered, “Who is He, sir, that I may believe in Him?”

³⁷ Jesus told him, “You have seen Him, and it is He who is talking with you.”

³⁸ Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshipped Jesus.

³⁹ Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, so that those who don’t see may see, and those who do see may become blind.”

⁴⁰ Some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and asked Him, “We aren’t blind too, are we?”

⁴¹ Jesus told them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin, but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.

²⁸ Then they insulted him angrily. They said, “You are that man's disciple, but we are Moses' disciples!

²⁹ We know that God spoke to Moses; but this man, we do not know where he is from or where he gets any authority from!”

³⁰ The man replied, “That is very surprising! You say that you do not know where he gets any authority. But he enabled me to see!

³¹ We know that God does not help sinners who ask God to help them. Instead, he listens to and helps godly people who pray. He listens to people who do what God wants.

³² No one has ever enabled a man to see who was blind when he was born like I was. That has never happened since the world began!

³³ So if this man had not come from God, he would not be able to do anything like that!”

³⁴ They replied to him, “You ◄were born as a result of your parents' sin EUP/bastard►! ◄Do you think you are qualified to teach us?/You are not qualified to teach us!► RHQ” Then they threw him out of the synagogue.

³⁵ Jesus heard people say that they had thrown that man out. He found the man and said to him, “Do you believe that the one who came down from heaven is the Messiah?”

³⁶ The man answered, “Sir, who is he? Tell me, in order that I may believe in him.”

³⁷ Jesus said to him, “You have seen him. In fact, it is I, the one who am speaking to you.”

³⁸ The man said, “Lord, I believe that you are the Messiah!” Then he knelt down before Jesus and worshipped him.

³⁹ Jesus said, “I have come into this world to judge the people in the world. The result will be that those who realize that they do not know God's truth will perceive it. That is like MET enabling those who are blind to see. But the result will also be that people who falsely think IRO that they understand God's truth will never understand it. That is like MET people who are blind remaining blind permanently.”

⁴⁰ Some of the Pharisees who were with him heard him say that, and said to him, “You are not suggesting that we are like blind people, are you?”

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, “If you realized that you did not yet know God's truth, but you wanted to, then you would be like blind people who wanted to see. God would be able to forgive your sins. But you are now falsely claiming that you know God's truth, so you are like people who are blind who claim that they can see. Because of that, God is not able to forgive your sins.”

³⁰ The man said in answer, Why, here is a strange thing! You have no knowledge where he comes from though he gave me the use of my eyes.

³¹ We have knowledge that God does not give ear to sinners, but if any man is a worshipper of God and does his pleasure, to him God's ears are open.

³² In all the years nobody has ever before seen the eyes of a man blind from birth made open.

³³ If this man did not come from God he would be unable to do anything.

³⁴ Their answer was: You came to birth through sin; do you make yourself our teacher? And they put him out of the Synagogue.

³⁵ It came to the ears of Jesus that they had put him out, and meeting him he said, Have you faith in the Son of man?

³⁶ He said in answer, And who is he, Lord? Say, so that I may have faith in him.

³⁷ Jesus said to him, You have seen him; it is he who is talking to you.

³⁸ And he said, Lord, I have faith. And he gave him worship.

³⁹ And Jesus said, I came into this world to be a judge, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.

⁴⁰ These words came to the ears of the Pharisees who were with him and they said to him, Are we, then, blind?

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, If you were blind you would have no sin: but now that you say, We see; your sin is there still.

²⁸ They railed at him, and said, Thou art his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁹ We know that God spoke to Moses; but as to this man, we know not whence he is.

³⁰ The man answered and said to them, Now in this is a wonderful thing, that ye do not know whence he is, and he has opened mine eyes.

³¹ But we know that God does not hear sinners; but if any one be God-fearing and do his will, him he hears.

³⁰ The man answered, “That's incredible! You don't know where he comes from but he opened my eyes.

³¹ We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but he does listen to anyone who worships him and does what he wants.

³² Never before in the whole of history has anyone heard of a man born blind being healed.

³³ If this man weren't from God, he could do nothing.”

³⁴ “You were born totally sinful, and yet you're trying to lecture us,” they replied. And they threw him out of the synagogue.

³⁵ When Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, he went and found the man, and asked him, “Do you trust in the Son of man?”

³⁶ The man replied, “Tell me who he is, sir, so I can put my trust in him.”

³⁷ “You've already seen him. He's the one speaking with you now!” Jesus told him.

³⁸ “I trust you, Lord!” he said, and he kneeled in worship before Jesus.

³⁹ Then Jesus told him, “I've come into the world to bring judgment so that those who are blind may see, and those who see will become blind.”

⁴⁰ Some Pharisees who were there with Jesus asked him, “We're not blind too, are we?”

⁴¹ Jesus answered, “If you were blind, you wouldn't be guilty. But now that you say you see, your guilt remains.”

²⁸ Then reuiled they him, and sayd, Be thou his disciple: we be Moses disciples.

²⁹ We know that God spake with Moses: but this man we know not from whence he is.

³⁰ The man answered, and sayde vnto them, Doutlesse, this is a marueilous thing, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he hath opened mine eyes.

⁴¹ “If you had been blind,” replied Jesus, “you would have had no sin to answer for; but, as it is, you say ‘We can see,’ and so your sin remains.

²⁸ “You are his disciple,” they retorted scornfully; “but we are disciples of Moses.

²⁹ We know that God spoke to Moses; but, as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.”

³⁸ “Then, Sir, I do believe,” said the man, bowing to the ground before him;

³⁹ and Jesus added, “It was to put people to the test that I came into this world, in order that those that cannot see should see, and that those that can see should become blind.”

⁴⁰ Hearing this, some of the Pharisees who were with him said, “Then are we blind too?”

⁴¹ “If you had been blind,” replied Jesus, “you would have had no sin to answer for; but, as it is, you say ‘We can see,’ and so your sin remains.

²⁸ They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses Drawn out.

²⁹ We know that God has spoken to Moses Drawn out. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”

³⁰ The man answered them, “How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.

³¹ We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God, and does his will, he listens to him.

³² Since the world began it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.

³³ If this man was not from God, he could do nothing.”

³⁴ They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” They threw him out.

³⁵ Yeshua Salvation heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Ben-Elohim ·Son of Elohim God·?”

³⁶ He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”

³⁷ Yeshua Salvation said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”

³⁸ He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.

³⁹ Yeshua Salvation said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

⁴⁰ Those of the Pharisees Separated who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”

⁴¹ Yeshua Salvation said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.

²⁸ Then rated they him and sayde: Thou arte his disciple. We be Moses disciples.

²⁹ We are sure that God spake with Moses. This felowe we knowe not from whence he is.

³⁰ The man answered and sayde vnto them: this is a merveleous thinge that ye wote not whence he is seinge he hath opened myne eyes.

³¹ For we be sure that God heareth not synners. But yf eny man be a worshipper of God and do his will him heareth he.

³² Sence the worlde beganne was it not hearde that eny man opened the eyes of one that was borne blynd.

³³ If this man were not of God he coulde have done no thinge.

³⁴ They answered and sayd vnto him: thou arte altogeder borne in synne: and dost thou teache vs? And they cast him out.

³⁵ Iesus hearde that they had excommunicate him: and assone as he had founde him he sayd vnto him: doest thou beleve on the sonne of God?

³⁶ He answered and sayde: Who is it Lorde that I myght beleve on him?

³⁷ And Iesus sayde vnto him: Thou hast sene him and he it is that talketh with the.

³⁸ And he sayde: Lorde I beleve: and worshipped him.

³⁹ Iesus sayde: I am come vnto iudgement into this worlde: that they which se not myght se and they which se myght be made blynde.

⁴⁰ And some of the pharises which were with him hearde these wordes and sayde vnto him: are we then blynde?

⁴¹ Iesus sayde vnto them: yf ye were blynde ye shuld have no synne. But now ye saye we se therfore youre synne remayneth.

²⁹ We know that God has spoken to Moses, but we do not know where this one is from.”

³⁵ Jesus heard that they had cast him out of the synagogue. He found him and said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

³⁶ He replied and said, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”

³⁷ Jesus said to him, “You have seen him, and it is the one who is speaking with you.”

³⁸ The man said, “Lord, I believe” and he worshiped him.

³⁹ Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world so that those who do not see may see and so that those who see may become blind.”

³¹ And we witen, that God herith not synful men, but if ony `man is worschypere of God, and doith his wille, he herith hym.

³² Fro the world it is not herd, that ony man openyde the iyen of a blynd borun man; but this were of God,

³³ he myyt not do ony thing.

³⁴ Thei answeriden, and seiden to hym, Thou art al borun in synnes, and techist thou vs? And thei putten hym out.

³⁵ Jhesus herd, that thei hadden putte hym out; and whanne he hadde founde hym, he seide to hym, Bileuest thou in the sone of God?

³⁶ He answerde, and seide, Lord, who is he, that Y bileue in hym?

³⁷ And Jhesus seide to hym, And thou hast seyn him, and he it is, that spekith with thee.

³⁸ And he seide, Lord, Y byleue. And he felle doun, and worschipide hym.

³⁹ Therfore Jhesus seide to hym, Y cam in to this world, `in to doom, that thei that seen not, see, and thei that seen, be maad blynde.

⁴⁰ And summe of the Faryseis herden, that weren with hym, and thei seiden to hym, Whether we ben blynde?

⁴¹ Jhesus seide to hem, If ye weren blynde, ye schulden not haue synne; but now ye seien, That we seen, youre synne dwellith stille.

²⁸ They reviled him, therefore, and said, 'Thou art his disciple, and we are Moses' disciples;

²⁹ we have known that God hath spoken to Moses, but this one — we have not known whence he is.'

³⁰ The man answered and said to them, 'Why, in this is a wonderful thing, that ye have not known whence he is, and he opened my eyes!

³¹ and we have known that God doth not hear sinners, but, if any one may be a worshipper of God, and may do His will, him He doth hear;

³² from the age it was not heard, that any one did open eyes of one who hath been born blind;

³³ if this one were not from God, he were not able to do anything.'

³⁴ They answered and said to him, 'In sins thou wast born altogether, and thou dost teach us!' and they cast him forth without.

³⁵ Jesus heard that they cast him forth without, and having found him, he said to him, 'Dost thou believe in the Son of God?'

³⁶ he answered and said, 'Who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?'

³⁷ And Jesus said to him, 'Thou hast both seen him, and he who is speaking with thee is he;'

³⁸ and he said, 'I believe, sir,' and bowed before him.

³⁹ And Jesus said, 'For judgment I to this world did come, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.'

⁴⁰ And those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and they said to him, 'Are we also blind?'

⁴¹ Jesus said to them, 'If ye were blind, ye were not having had sin, but now ye say — We see, therefore doth your sin remain.
