14The day on which Jesus made the mud and enabled the man to see again was a ◄Sabbath/Jewish day of rest►. The Pharisees considered that healing someone was work, and their rules did not permit people to do any work ◄ on the Sabbath/on the Jewish rest day►.
15So the Pharisees also asked that man, “How did you become able to see?” He said to them, “The man put mud on my eyes. Then I washed, and now I can see!”
14Now the day on which the earth was mixed by Jesus and the man's eyes were made open was the Sabbath.
15So the Pharisees put more questions to him about how his eyes had been made open. And he said to them, He put earth on my eyes, and I had a wash and am able to see.
14Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and gave him his sight.
15So the Pharisees also questioned the man as to how he had gained his sight. “He put clay on my eyes,” he answered, “and I washed them, and I can see.”
14Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and gave him his sight.
15So the Pharisees also questioned the man as to how he had gained his sight. “He put clay on my eyes,” he answered, “and I washed them, and I can see.”
14And it was (the) sabbath, when Jesus made clay, and opened his eyes.
15Again the Pharisees asked him, how he had seen. And he said to them, He laid to me or He put to me clay on the eyes (or He put some clay on my eyes); and I washed, and (now) I see.
14and it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.
15Again, therefore, the Pharisees also were asking him how he received sight, and he said to them, 'Clay he did put upon my eyes, and I did wash — and I see.'
