John 9:10-15 in English

¹⁰ They said therefore unto him, How then were thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered, The man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to Siloam, and wash: so I went away and washed, and I received sight.

¹² And they said unto him, Where is he? He saith, I know not.

¹³ They bring to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

¹⁴ Now it was the sabbath on the day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. And he said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and I see.

¹⁰ So they asked him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹¹ He answered, “The man called Jesus made mud, put it on my eyes, and told me, ‘Go to Siloam, and wash’; so I went and washed, and I received sight.”

¹² “Where is this man?” they asked him. “I don’t know,” he said.

¹³ They brought the man who used to be blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ Now it was a sabbath day when Jesus made the mud and opened the man’s eyes.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees were also asking him how he received his sight. He told them, “He applied mud to my eyes, I washed, and I see.”

¹⁰ Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

¹² Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

¹³ They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

¹⁴ And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. He said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

¹⁰ They said therefore unto him, How then were thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered, The man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to Siloam, and wash: so I went away and washed, and I received sight.

¹² And they said unto him, Where is he? He saith, I know not.

¹⁴ Now it was the sabbath on the day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. And he said unto them, He put clay upon mine eyes, and I washed, and do see.

¹⁰ So they said to him, “How is it that now you can see?”

¹¹ He replied, “The man whose name is Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. Then he told me to go to Siloam pool and wash. So I went there and washed, and then I could see.”

¹² They said to him, “Where is that man now?” He said, “I do not know.”

¹³ They took to the Pharisees the man who was previously blind.

¹⁴ The day on which Jesus made the mud and enabled the man to see again was a ◄Sabbath/Jewish day of rest►. The Pharisees considered that healing someone was work, and their rules did not permit people to do any work ◄ on the Sabbath/on the Jewish rest day►.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees also asked that man, “How did you become able to see?” He said to them, “The man put mud on my eyes. Then I washed, and now I can see!”

¹⁰ They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹¹ He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”

¹² Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”

¹³ They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”

¹⁰ So they said to him, How then were your eyes made open?

¹¹ His answer was: The man who is named Jesus put earth mixed with water on my eyes, and said to me, Go and make yourself clean in Siloam: so I went away and, after washing, am now able to see.

¹² And they said to him, Where is he? His answer was: I have no knowledge.

¹³ They took him before the Pharisees — this man who had been blind.

¹⁴ Now the day on which the earth was mixed by Jesus and the man's eyes were made open was the Sabbath.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees put more questions to him about how his eyes had been made open. And he said to them, He put earth on my eyes, and I had a wash and am able to see.

¹⁰ They said therefore to him, How have thine eyes been opened?

¹¹ He answered and said, A man called Jesus made mud and anointed mine eyes, and said to me, Go to Siloam and wash: and having gone and washed, I saw.

¹² They said therefore to him, Where is he? He says, I do not know.

¹³ They bring him who was before blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ Now it was sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ The Pharisees therefore also again asked him how he received his sight. And he said to them, He put mud upon mine eyes, and I washed, and I see.

¹⁵ Then again the Pharisees were asking him how he received his sight. And he said to them, “He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.”

¹⁰ So they said to him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹¹ He answered and said: “A man called Jesus made mud and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So when I went and washed, I saw!”

¹² Then they said to him, “Where is He?” He says, “I don't know.”

¹³ They bring the man who was formerly blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ (Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.)

¹⁵ So once again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. So he said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, and I washed, and I see.”

¹⁰ “So how is it you can see?” they asked him.

¹¹ He replied, “A man called Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes and told me, ‘Go and wash yourself in the Pool of Siloam.’ So I went and washed, and now I can see.”

¹² “Where is he?” they asked. “I don't know,” he replied.

¹³ They took the man who had been blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ Now it was the Sabbath when Jesus had made the mud and opened the blind man's eyes.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees also asked him how he could see. He told them, “He put mud on my eyes, and I washed, and now I can see.”

¹⁰ Therefore they sayd vnto him, Howe were thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered, and sayd, The man that is called Iesus, made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and sayde vnto me, Goe to the poole of Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and receiued sight.

¹² Then they sayd vnto him, Where is he? He sayd, I can not tell.

¹³ They brought to the Pharises him that was once blinde.

¹⁴ And it was the Sabbath day, when Iesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Then againe the Pharises also asked him, how he had receiued sight. And hee sayd vnto them, He layd clay vpon mine eyes, and I washed, and doe see.

¹⁰ Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered and said, A man that is called Jesus made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said unto me, Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash: and I went and washed, and I received sight.

¹² Then said they unto him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

¹³ They brought to the Pharisees him that aforetime was blind.

¹⁴ And it was the sabbath day when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹¹ “The man whom they call Jesus,” he answered, “made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me ‘Go to Siloam and wash your eyes.’ So I went and washed my eyes, and gained my sight.”

¹² “Where is he?” they asked. “I do not know,” he answered.

¹³ They took the man, who had been blind, to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and gave him his sight.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees also questioned the man as to how he had gained his sight. “He put clay on my eyes,” he answered, “and I washed them, and I can see.”

¹⁰ “How did you get your sight, then?” they asked.

¹¹ “The man whom they call Jesus,” he answered, “made clay, and anointed my eyes, and said to me ‘Go to Siloam and wash your eyes.’ So I went and washed my eyes, and gained my sight.”

¹² “Where is he?” they asked. “I do not know,” he answered.

¹³ They took the man, who had been blind, to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and gave him his sight.

¹⁵ So the Pharisees also questioned the man as to how he had gained his sight. “He put clay on my eyes,” he answered, “and I washed them, and I can see.”

¹⁰ They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”

¹¹ He answered, “A man called Yeshua Salvation made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam Sent, and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”

¹² Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I don’t know.”

¹³ They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees Separated.

¹⁴ It was a Sabbath ·To cease· when Yeshua Salvation made the mud and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again therefore the Pharisees Separated also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”

¹⁰ They sayde vnto him: How are thyne eyes opened then?

¹¹ He answered and sayde. The man that is called Iesus made claye and anoynted myne eyes and sayd vnto me: Goo to the pole Syloe and wesshe. I went and wesshed and receaved my syght.

¹² They sayde vnto him: where is he? He sayde: I cannot tell.

¹³ Then brought they to the pharises him that a lytell before was blynde:

¹⁴ for it was the Saboth daye when Iesus made the claye and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Then agayne the pharises also axed him how he had receaved his syght. He sayde vnto the: He put claye apon myne eyes and I wasshed and do se.

¹⁰ They said to him, “Then how were your eyes opened?”

¹¹ He answered, “The man who is called Jesus made mud and smeared it on my eyes and said to me, 'Go to Siloam and wash.' So I went and washed, and I received my sight.”

¹² They said to him, “Where is he?” He replied, “I do not know.”

¹³ They brought the man who used to be blind to the Pharisees.

¹³ They led him that was blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ And it was sabbath, when Jesus made clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again the Pharisees asked him, how he had seen. And he said to them, He laid or put to me clay on the eyes; and I washed, and I see.

¹⁰ Therefore they said to him, How be thine eyes opened?

¹¹ He answered, That man, that is said Jesus, made clay, and anointed mine eyes, and said to me, Go thou to the water, or (to the) cistern, of Siloam, and wash, (or Go to the pool of Siloam, and wash); and I went, and washed, and (then I) saw.

¹² And they said to him, Where is he? He said, I know not.

¹³ They led him that was blind to the Pharisees.

¹⁴ And it was (the) sabbath, when Jesus made clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again the Pharisees asked him, how he had seen. And he said to them, He laid to me or He put to me clay on the eyes (or He put some clay on my eyes); and I washed, and (now) I see.

¹⁰ But he seide, That Y am. Therfor thei seiden to hym, Hou ben thin iyen openyd?

¹¹ He answerde, Thilke man, that is seid Jhesus, made clei, and anoyntide myn iyen, and seide to me, Go thou to the watre of Siloe, and wassche; and Y wente, and wasschide, and say.

¹² And thei seiden to hym, Where is he? He seide, Y woot not.

¹³ Thei leden hym that was blynd to the Farisees.

¹⁴ And it was sabat, whanne Jhesus made cley, and openyde hise iyen.

¹⁵ Eft the Farisees axiden hym, hou he hadde seyn. And he seide to hem, He leide to me cley on the iyen; and Y wasschide, and Y se.

¹⁰ They said, therefore, to him, 'How were thine eyes opened?'

¹¹ he answered and said, 'A man called Jesus made clay, and rubbed my eyes, and said to me, Go away to the pool of Siloam, and wash; and having gone away and having washed, I received sight;'

¹² they said, therefore, to him, 'Where is that one?' he saith, 'I have not known.'

¹³ They bring him to the Pharisees who once was blind,

¹⁴ and it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.

¹⁵ Again, therefore, the Pharisees also were asking him how he received sight, and he said to them, 'Clay he did put upon my eyes, and I did wash — and I see.'
