John 6:65-70 in English

⁶⁵ And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father.

⁶⁶ Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away?

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ And we have believed and know that thou art the Holy One of God.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil?

⁶⁵ He said, “For this reason I have told you, that no one can come to me, unless it has been granted by the Father.”

⁶⁶ Because of this, many of His disciples turned back and didn’t walk with him any more.

⁶⁷ Then Jesus asked the twelve, “Do you want to go away, too?”

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, who will we go to? You have words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ We have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

⁷⁰ Jesus answered, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, yet one of you is a slanderer?”

⁶⁵ And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

⁶⁶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?

⁶⁷ So he said to us twelve apostles, “You do not want to leave me also, do you?”

⁶⁸ Simon Peter replied to him, “Lord, we will not leave you, because ◄there is no other person like you to whom we can go!/what other person is there like you to whom we can go?► RHQ You have the message about eternal life!

⁶⁹ We have come to believe for certain that you are the holy one who has come from God!”

⁷⁰ Then Jesus replied to us, “ You are saying that as though all you twelve men whom I have chosen RHQ believe that. But one of you is under the control of Satan!”

⁶⁵ He said, “For this cause I have said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by my Father.”

⁶⁶ At this, many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Jesus said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ We have come to believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter gave this answer: Lord, to whom are we to go? you have the words of eternal life;

⁶⁹ And we have faith and are certain that you are the Holy One of God.

⁷⁰ Then Jesus said, Did I not make a selection of you, the twelve, and one of you is a son of the Evil One?

⁶⁵ And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no one can come to me unless it be given to him from the Father.

⁶⁶ From that time many of his disciples went away back and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Jesus therefore said to the twelve, Will ye also go away?

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast words of life eternal;

⁶⁹ and we have believed and known that thou art the holy one of God.

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you the twelve? and of you one is a devil.

⁶⁵ But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning, who they were that did not believe, and who he was, that would betray him.

⁶⁶ And he said: Therefore did I say to you, that no man can come to me, unless it be given him by my Father.

⁶⁷ After this many of his disciples went back; and walked no more with him.

⁶⁸ Then Jesus said to the twelve: Will you also go away?

⁷⁰ He said to them: “Did I myself not choose you twelve? Yet one of you is a devil.”

⁶⁵ Jesus added, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is made possible by the Father.”

⁶⁶ From this time on many of Jesus' disciples gave up and no longer followed him.

⁶⁷ Then Jesus asked the twelve disciples, “What about you? Do you want to leave as well?”

⁶⁸ Simon Peter answered, “Lord, who would we follow? You're the one who has the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ We trust in you, and we're convinced that you are God's Holy One.”

⁷⁰ Jesus replied, “Didn't I choose you, the twelve disciples? Yet one of you is a devil.”

⁶⁵ And hee saide, Therefore saide I vnto you, that no man can come vnto mee, except it be giuen vnto him of my Father.

⁶⁶ From that time, many of his disciples went backe, and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Then sayde Iesus to the twelue, Will yee also goe away?

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whome shall we goe? thou hast the wordes of eternall life:

⁶⁹ And we beleeue and knowe that thou art that Christ that Sonne of the liuing God.

⁷⁰ Iesus answered them, Haue not I chosen you twelue, and one of you is a deuill?

⁶⁵ And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

⁶⁶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

⁶⁷ Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

⁶⁹ and we have learnt to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

⁷⁰ “Didn't I myself choose you to be the Twelve?” replied Jesus; “and yet, even of you, one is playing the devil's part.”

⁶⁵ and he added, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me, unless enabled by the Father.”

⁶⁶ After this many of his disciples drew back, and did not go about with him any longer.

⁶⁷ So Jesus said to the Twelve, “Do you also wish to leave me?”

⁶⁸ But Simon Peter answered, “Master, to whom would we go? Eternal life is in your teaching;

⁶⁹ and we have learned to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.”

⁷⁰ “Didn't I myself choose you to be the Twelve?” replied Jesus; “and yet, even of you, one is playing the devil's part.”

⁶⁵ He said, “For this cause have I said to you that no one can come to me, unless it is given to him by 'Avi ·my Father·.”

⁶⁷ Yeshua Salvation said therefore to the twelve, “You don’t also want to go away, do you?”

⁶⁸ Simeon Peter Hearing Rock answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.

⁶⁹ We have come to believe and know that you are the Messiah Anointed one, haBen haElohim Chayim the Son of the God Living.”

⁷⁰ Yeshua Salvation answered them, “Didn’t I choose you, the twelve, and one of you is a devil?”

⁶⁵ And he sayde: Therfore sayde I vnto you: that no man can come vnto me except it were geven vnto him of my father.

⁶⁶ From that tyme many of his disciples wet backe and walked no moore with him.

⁶⁷ Then sayde Iesus to the twelve: will ye alsoo goo awaye?

⁶⁸ Then Simon Peter answered: Master to whom shall we goo? Thou haste the wordes of eternall lyfe,

⁶⁹ and we beleve and knowe that thou arte Christ the sonne of the lyvinge God.

⁷⁰ Iesus answered them: Have not I chosen you twelve and yet one of you is the devyll?

⁶⁷ Therefore Jesus said to the twelve, Whether ye will also go away?

⁶⁸ And Simon Peter answered to him, Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast words of everlasting life (or Thou hast the words of eternal life);

⁶⁹ and we believe, and have known, or and we have believed, and know, that thou art Christ (or that thou art the Messiah), the Son of God.

⁷⁰ Therefore Jesus answered to them, Whether I chose not you twelve, and one of you is a fiend? (or and yet one of you is a devil?)

⁶⁵ But ther ben summe of you that bileuen not. For Jhesus wiste fro the bigynnynge, which weren bileuynge, and who was to bitraye hym.

⁶⁶ And he seide, Therfor Y seide to you, that no man may come to me, but it were youun to hym of my fadir.

⁶⁷ Fro this tyme many of hise disciplis wenten abak, and wenten not now with hym.

⁶⁸ Therfor Jhesus seide to the twelue, Whether ye wolen also go awei?

⁶⁹ And Symount Petre answeride to hym, Lord, to whom schulen we gon? Thou hast wordis of euerlastynge lijf;

⁷⁰ and we bileuen, and han knowun, that thou art Crist, the sone of God.

⁶⁵ and he said, 'Because of this I have said to you — No one is able to come unto me, if it may not have been given him from my Father.'

⁶⁶ From this time many of his disciples went away backward, and were no more walking with him,

⁶⁷ Jesus, therefore, said to the twelve, 'Do ye also wish to go away?'

⁶⁸ Simon Peter, therefore, answered him, 'Sir, unto whom shall we go? thou hast sayings of life age-during;

⁶⁹ and we have believed, and we have known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.'

⁷⁰ Jesus answered them, 'Did not I choose you — the twelve? and of you — one is a devil.
