John 2:1-4 in English

¹ And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:

² and Jesus also was bidden, and his disciples, to the marriage.

³ And when the wine failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

⁴ And Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.

¹ On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and Jesus’ mother was there.

² Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.

³ When they ran out of wine, Jesus’ mother told Him, “They have no wine.”

⁴ Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My time has not yet come.”

² And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

³ And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

¹ Two days later there was a wedding celebration in Cana town, in Galilee district. Jesus' mother was there.

² Jesus and we his disciples were also there, because we had been invited {someone had invited us} also.

³ When the guests had drunk all the wine that was there, Jesus' mother said to him, “The wine is all gone; can you do something about that?”

⁴ Jesus said to her, “Ma'am/Woman, ◄do not tell me what to do !/why do you tell me what to do ?► RHQ It is not yet time MTY to show that I am the Messiah by working miracles .”

³ When they had not enough wine, the mother of Jesus said to him, They have no wine.

⁴ Jesus said to her, Woman, this is not your business; my time is still to come.

¹ And on the third day a marriage took place in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

² And Jesus also, and his disciples, were invited to the marriage.

³ And wine being deficient, the mother of Jesus says to him, They have no wine.

⁴ Jesus says to her, What have I to do with thee, woman? mine hour has not yet come.

³ The wine ran out, so Jesus' mother told him, “They don't have any more wine.”

⁴ “Mother, why should you involve me? My time hasn't come yet,” he replied.

¹ And the thirde day, was there a mariage in Cana a towne of Galile, and the mother of Iesus was there.

² And Iesus was called also, and his disciples vnto the mariage.

³ Nowe when the wine failed, the mother of Iesus saide vnto him, They haue no wine.

⁴ Iesus saide vnto her, Woman, what haue I to doe with thee? mine houre is not yet come.

² and both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.

³ And they had no wine, because the wine of the feast had failed. Then the mother of Jesus saith to him, There is no wine.

⁴ Jesus saith to her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? My hour is not yet come.

¹ Two days after this there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and Jesus' mother was there.

² Jesus himself, too, with his disciples, was invited to the wedding.

³ And, when the wine ran short, his mother said to him, “They have no wine left.”

⁴ “What do you want with me?” answered Jesus. “My time has not come yet.”

² Jesus himself, too, with his disciples, was invited to the wedding.

³ And, when the wine ran short, his mother said to him, “They have no wine left.”

⁴ “What do you want with me?” answered Jesus. “My time has not come yet.”

⁴ Iesus sayde vnto her: woman what have I to do with the? myne houre is not yet come.

¹ And the thridde dai weddyngis weren maad in the Cane of Galilee; and the modir of Jhesu was there.

² And Jhesus was clepid, and hise disciplis, to the weddyngis.

³ And whanne wijn failide, the modir of Jhesu seide to hym, Thei han not wijn.

⁴ And Jhesus seith to hir, What to me and to thee, womman? myn our cam not yit.

¹ And the third day a marriage happened in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there,

² and also Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage;

³ and wine having failed, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, 'Wine they have not;'

⁴ Jesus saith to her, 'What — to me and to thee, woman? not yet is mine hour come.'
