John 10:2-5

²The one who enters by the gate is the sheep’s shepherd.

³The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

⁴When he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.

⁵There is no way that they will follow a stranger, but will run away from the stranger, because they don’t know the voice of strangers.”
