²⁸ And he was with them going in and going out at Jerusalem,

²⁹ preaching boldly in the name of the Lord: and he spake and disputed against the Grecian Jews; but they were seeking to kill him.

³⁰ And when the brethren knew it, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

³¹ So the church throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified; and, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was multiplied.

³² And it came to pass, as Peter went throughout all parts, he came down also to the saints that dwelt at Lydda.

²⁸ And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.

²⁹ And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

³⁰ Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Cæsarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

³¹ Then had the churches rest throughout all Judæa and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

³² And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

³² And it came to pass, as Peter went throughout all parts, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.

²⁸ So Saul began to associate with the apostles and other believers throughout Jerusalem, and he spoke boldly to people about MTY the Lord Jesus.

²⁹ Saul was also speaking about Jesus with Jews who spoke Greek, and he was debating with them. But they were continually trying to think ◄ of a way to kill him/of how they could kill him►.

³⁰ When the other believers heard that those Jews were planning to kill him, some of the believers took Saul down to Caesarea city. There they arranged for him to go by ship to Tarsus, his hometown.

³¹ So the groups of believers throughout the entire regions of Judea, Galilee, and Samaria lived peacefully because no one was persecuting them anymore. The Holy Spirit was strengthening them spiritually and encouraging them. They were continuing to revere/honor the Lord Jesus, and the Holy Spirit was enabling many other people to become believers.

³² While Peter was traveling throughout those regions, once he went to the coastal plain to visit the believers who lived in Lydda town.

²⁸ He was with them entering into Jerusalem,

²⁹ preaching boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus. He spoke and disputed against the Hellenists, but they were seeking to kill him.

³⁰ When the brothers knew it, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

³¹ So the assemblies throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were built up. They were multiplied, walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

³² As Peter went throughout all those parts, he came down also to the saints who lived at Lydda.

³⁰ And when the brothers had knowledge of it, they took him to Caesarea and sent him to Tarsus.

³¹ And so the church through all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was made strong; and, living in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, was increased greatly.

³² And it came about that while Peter was going through all parts of the country he came to the saints who were living at Lydda.

²⁸ And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem,

²⁹ and speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. And he spoke and discussed with the Hellenists; but they sought to kill him.

³⁰ And the brethren knowing it, brought him down to Caesarea and sent him away to Tarsus.

³¹ The assemblies then throughout the whole of Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being edified and walking in the fear of the Lord, and were increased through the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

³² Now it came to pass that Peter, passing through all quarters, descended also to the saints who inhabited Lydda.

²⁸ And he was with them coming in and going out in Jerusalem, and dealing confidently in the name of the Lord.

²⁹ He spoke also to the Gentiles, and disputed with the Greeks; but they sought to kill him.

³⁰ Which when the brethren had known, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him away to Tarsus.

³¹ Now the church had peace throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria; and was edified, walking in the fear of the Lord, and was filled with the consolation of the Holy Ghost.

³² And it came to pass that Peter, as he passed through, visiting all, came to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.

²⁸ So he went in and out among them at Jerusalem,

²⁹ and speaking boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and he was speaking and disputing with the Greek-speaking Jews, but they were attempting to kill him.

³⁰ But the brothers, learning about it, brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

³¹ Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified, and walking in the fear of the Lord and in the encouragement of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.

³² Now it came to pass, as Peter went through all parts of the country, that he went down to the saints who were dwelling in Lydda.

²⁸ So he was with them in Jerusalem, going in and out, and speaking fearlessly in the name of Jesus.

²⁹ He kept on speaking and debating with the Hellenists, so they started trying to kill him.

³⁰ Upon finding it out, the brothers brought him down to Caesarea and sent him off to Tarsus.

³¹ So then the congregations throughout all Judea and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace and were built up; and proceeding in the fear of the Lord and in the enabling of the Holy Spirit they were being multiplied.

³² Now it happened, as Peter went through all those parts, that he also went down to the saints who were living in Lydda.

²⁸ Saul stayed with the apostles and accompanied them all over Jerusalem,

²⁹ speaking boldly in the name of the Lord. He talked and debated with the Greek-speaking Jews, but they tried to kill him.

³⁰ When the brothers learned of this they took him to Caesarea, and sent him to Tarsus.

³¹ During this time the whole church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria was left in peace. The church grew strong and increased rapidly in numbers as the believers lived reverently for the Lord, encouraged by the Holy Spirit.

³² Peter was traveling around and went to visit the believers who lived in Lydda.

²⁸ And hee was conuersant with them at Hierusalem,

²⁹ And spake boldly in the Name of the Lord Iesus, and spake and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.

³⁰ But when the brethren knewe it, they brought him to Cesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

³¹ Then had the Churches rest through all Iudea, and Galile, and Samaria, and were edified and walked in the feare of the Lord, and were multiplied by the comfort of the holy Ghost.

³¹ The church therefore throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria had peace, being built up, and walking in the fear of the Lord; and by the exhortation of the Holy Spirit it was greatly increased.

³² And it came to pass, that as Peter went through the whole country, he came down also to the saints who dwelt at Lydda.

²⁸ After that, Saul remained in Jerusalem, in close contact with the apostles; and he spoke fearlessly in the name of the Lord,

²⁹ talking and arguing with the Jews of foreign birth, who, however, made attempts to kill him.

³⁰ But, when the followers found this out, they took him down to Caesarea, and sent him on his way to Tarsus.

³¹ And so it came about that the church, throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria, enjoyed peace and became firmly established; and, ordering its life by respect for the Lord and the help of the Holy Spirit, it increased in numbers.

²⁸ Those church leaders in Jerusalem believed Barnabas, so Saul stayed there with them and let the Jerusalem people see him with them. He talked to everyone about Jesus and wasn’t afraid of anyone.

²⁹ There were some Jewish people in Jerusalem that talked the Greek language. Saul told them to believe in Jesus, but they argued with him. Then they got upset and tried to kill him.

³⁰ The Christians heard about this, so they took Saul to the town called Caesarea and put him on a ship, and sent him back to his home town, called Tarsus.

³¹ Then, at last, everything settled down and was quiet for the Christians in the churches in Judea, Galilee and Samaria countries. They respected their leader Jesus more, and they followed him more properly, and the Holy Spirit helped them feel strong, so that more people joined them and believed in Jesus.

³² After that, Peter went around visiting God’s people that lived in Judea country, and he went to the town called Lydda.

²⁸ And he had his conuersacion with them at Ierusalem

²⁹ and quit hym silfe boldly in the name of the lorde Iesu. And he spake and disputed wyth the grekes: and they went aboute to slee hym.

³⁰ But when the brethren knew of that they brought hym to cesarea and sent hym forth to Tharsus.

³¹ Then had the congregacions rest thorowoute all Iewry and galile and Samary and were edified and walked in the feare of the lorde and multiplied by the comforte of the holy gost.

³² And it chaunsed that as Peter walked throughoute all quarters he came to the saynctes which dwelt at Lydda

²⁸ He met with them as they were coming in and going out of Jerusalem. He spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus

³¹ And the church by all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, and was edified, and walked in the dread of the Lord, and was full-filled with comfort of the Holy Ghost.

³² And it befelled, that Peter, the while he passed about all, came to the holy men that dwelled at Lydda.

²⁸ And he was with them, and entered (in), and went out in Jerusalem, and did trustily in the name of Jesus.

²⁹ And he spake with heathen men, and disputed with Greeks (or And he spoke and disputed with the Greek-speaking Jews). And they sought to slay him.

³⁰ Which thing when the brethren had known, they led him by night to Caesarea, and let him go to Tarsus.

³¹ And the church by all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, and was edified, and walked in the dread of the Lord, and was full-filled with (the) comfort of the Holy Ghost. (And the church in all of Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, and was edified, and walked in fearful reverence of the Lord, and was filled with the strength of the Holy Spirit.)

³² And it befelled, that Peter, the while he passed about all, came to the holy men that dwelled at Lydda.

²⁸ And he was with them, coming in and going out in Jerusalem,

²⁹ and speaking boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, he was both speaking and disputing with the Hellenists, and they were taking in hand to kill him,

³⁰ and the brethren having known, brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.

³¹ Then, indeed, the assemblies throughout all Judea, and Galilee, and Samaria, had peace, being built up, and, going on in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
