Acts 24:12-14 in English

¹² and neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man or stirring up a crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city.

¹³ Neither can they prove to thee the things whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confess unto thee, that after the Way which they call a sect, so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;

¹² And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

¹³ Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

¹² and neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man or stirring up a crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city.

¹³ Neither can they prove to thee the things whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confess unto thee, that after the Way which they call a sect, so serve I the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets:

¹² No one can claim legitimately that they saw me arguing with anyone at the Temple courts because I did not do that. No one can claim legitimately that they saw me causing people to riot in any Jewish meeting place, or causing trouble anywhere else in Jerusalem city, because I did not do that.

¹³ So they cannot prove to you the things about which they are now accusing me.

¹⁴ But I admit to you (sg) that this is true: I do worship the God that our ancestors worshipped. It is true that I follow the way that Jesus taught us. The Jewish leaders call that a false religion/teaching. I also believe everything that was written by Moses {that Moses wrote} in the laws that God gave him, and everything that was written by the other prophets {that the other prophets wrote} in their books MTY.

¹² And they have not seen me in argument with any man in the Temple, or working up the feelings of the people, in the Synagogues or in the town:

¹³ And they are not able to give facts in support of the things which they say against me now.

¹⁴ But this I will say openly to you, that I do give worship to the God of our fathers after that Way, which to them is not the true religion: but I have belief in all the things which are in the law and in the books of the prophets:

¹² and neither in the temple did they find me discoursing to any one, or making any tumultuous gathering together of the crowd, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;

¹³ neither can they make good the things of which they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I avow to thee, that in the way which they call sect, so I serve my fathers' God, believing all things which are written throughout the law, and in the prophets;

¹² And neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any man, or causing any concourse of the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

¹³ Neither can they prove unto thee the things whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confess to thee, that according to the way, which they call a heresy, so do I serve the Father and my God, believing all things which are written in the law and the prophets:

¹² And they did not find me with anyone in the temple disputing, or inciting a crowd to rise up, neither in the synagogues nor in the city.

¹³ Nor are they able to prove against me the things about which they are now accusing me.

¹⁴ But I confess this to you, that according to the Way which they call a sect, so I worship the God of my fathers, believing in all things which are written throughout the Law and in the Prophets,

¹² They did not find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd—not in the temple, not in the synagogues, not around the city.

¹³ Nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But I do profess this to you, that according to the Way that they call a sect, that is how I worship the ancestral God, believing all things that stand written throughout the Law and the Prophets,

¹² Nobody found me arguing in the Temple with anyone, or inciting people to riot in any synagogue or anywhere in the city.

¹³ Nor can they prove to you any of their accusations against me.

¹⁴ But I will admit this to you: I serve the God of our fathers following the beliefs of the Way, which they call a heretical sect. I believe everything the law teaches and what is written in the books of the prophets.

¹² And they neither found mee in the Temple disputing with any man, neither making vproare among the people, neither in the Synagogues, nor in the citie.

¹³ Neither can they proue the things, whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confesse vnto thee, that after the way (which they call heresie) so worship I the God of my fathers, beleeuing all things which are written in the Lawe and the Prophets,

¹² And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:

¹³ neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and the prophets:

¹² And neither in the temple did they find me disputing with any one, or stirring up a tumult of the people, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;

¹³ nor can they prove the things of which they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I acknowledge to thee, that according to the way of belief which they call a sect, so do I worship the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the Law and by the Prophets;

¹² where my prosecutors never found me holding discussions with anyone, or causing a crowd to collect — either in the Temple, or in the synagogues, or about the city;

¹³ and they cannot establish the charges which they are now making against me.

¹⁴ This, however, I do acknowledge to you, that it is as a believer in the Way which they call heretical, that I worship the God of my ancestors. At the same time, I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the prophets;

¹² where my prosecutors never found me holding discussions with anyone, or causing a crowd to collect — either in the Temple, or in the synagogues, or about the city;

¹³ and they cannot establish the charges which they are now making against me.

¹⁴ This, however, I do acknowledge to you, that it is as a believer in the Way which they call heretical, that I worship the God of my ancestors. At the same time, I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the prophets;

¹² This mob didn’t see me arguing with anyone at God’s ceremony house, and they didn’t see me upsetting anybody, or making them go wild, not in any Jewish meeting house, and nowhere else in Jerusalem. I never did that anywhere.

¹³ They can’t show you that the things they say are true.

¹⁴ But I can tell you this, I do show respect to the God that our Jewish tribe always respected. It is true that I’m with the mob called the Jesus Way. The Jewish leaders say that our mob are wrong, but that is not true. And I believe everything in God’s book. I keep our law and I believe everything that God got his men to write in his book.

¹² and that they nether founde me in the temple disputinge with eny man other raysinge vp the people nether in the Synagoges nor in the cite.

¹³ Nether can they prove the thinges wher of they accuse me.

¹⁴ But this I confesse vnto the that after that waye (which they call heresy) so worshippe I the God of my fathers belevinge all thinges which are writte in the lawe and the Prophetes

¹² When they found me in the temple, I did not argue with anyone, and I did not stir up a crowd, either in the synagogues, or in the city.

¹³ They cannot prove to you the accusations they are now making against me.

¹⁴ But I admit this to you, that according to the Way that they call a sect, in that same way I serve the God of our fathers. I am faithful to all that is in the law and the writings of the prophets.

¹³ neither they may prove to thee, of the which things they now accuse me.

¹⁴ But I acknowledge to thee this thing, that after the sect which they say heresy, so I serve to God the Father, believing to all things that be written in the law and prophets;

¹² and neither in the temple they found me disputing with any man, neither making concourse of the people, neither in the synagogues, neither in (the) city;

¹³ neither they may prove to thee, of the which things they now accuse me. (nor can they prove to thee, the things of which they now accuse me.)

¹⁴ But I acknowledge to thee this thing, that after the sect which they say (to be) heresy, so I serve to God the Father, believing to all things that be written in the law and (the) prophets;

¹² and neither in the temple did they find me reasoning with any one, or making a dissension of the multitude, nor in the synagogues, nor in the city;

¹³ nor are they able to prove against me the things concerning which they now accuse me.

¹⁴ 'And I confess this to thee, that, according to the way that they call a sect, so serve I the God of the fathers, believing all things that in the law and the prophets have been written,
