²² And when he had landed at Cæsarea, he went up and saluted the church, and went down to Antioch.

²³ And having spent some time there, he departed, and went through the region of Galatia, and Phrygia, in order, establishing all the disciples.

²⁴ Now a certain Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by race, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the scriptures.

²² And when he had landed at Cæsarea, and gone up, and saluted the church, he went down to Antioch.

²³ And after he had spent some time there, he departed, and went over all the country of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

²⁴ And a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man, and mighty in the scriptures, came to Ephesus.

²⁴ Now a certain Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by race, a learned man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the scriptures.

²² When the ship arrived at Caesarea, Paul got off. He went up to Jerusalem and greeted the believers there. Then he went back down to Antioch city in Syria province.

²³ Paul spent some time with the believers there. Then he left Antioch and traveled to several towns that he had visited previously in Galatia and Phrygia provinces. He taught all of the believers more of the message from God about Jesus.

²⁴ While Paul was traveling in Galatia and Phrygia, a Jewish man whose name was Apollos came to Ephesus. He was a native of Alexandria city. He spoke eloquently and he knew the Scriptures thoroughly.

²³ And having stayed there some time, he went forth, passing in order through the country of Galatia and Phrygia, establishing all the disciples.

²⁴ But a certain Jew, Apollos by name, an Alexandrian by race, an eloquent man, who was mighty in the scriptures, arrived at Ephesus.

²⁴ Now a certain Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, had arrived in Ephesus.

²² When he had landed at Caesarea, and gone up and greeted the church in Jerusalem, he returned to Antioch.

²³ After spending some time there, he departed and went through the region of Galatia and Phrygia in order, strengthening all the disciples.

²⁴ Now a certain Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, an eloquent man, mighty in the Scriptures, arrived in Ephesus.

²² After landing at Caesarea he went to greet the church members, and then carried on to Antioch.

²³ He spent some time there and then went from town to town through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, encouraging all the believers.

²⁴ In the meantime a Jew named Apollos, originally from Alexandria, arrived in Ephesus. He was a gifted speaker who knew the Scriptures well.

²² And when hee came downe to Cesarea, he went vp to Hierusalem: and when he had saluted the Church, he went downe vnto Antiochia.

²³ Nowe when he had taried there a while, he departed, and went thorowe the countrey of Galatia and Phrygia by order, strengthening all the disciples.

²⁴ Meanwhile there had come to Ephesus an Alexandrian Jew, named Apollos, an eloquent man, who was well-versed in the scriptures.

²² On reaching Caesarea, he went up to Jerusalem and exchanged greetings with the church, and then went down to Antioch.

²³ After making some stay in Antioch, he set out on a tour through the Phrygian district of Galatia, strengthening the faith of all the disciples as he went.

²⁴ Meanwhile there had come to Ephesus an Alexandrian Jew, named Apollos, an eloquent man, who was well-versed in the scriptures.

²² Paul came to the town called Caesarea, then he left that ship and went on by road to Jerusalem city, and he said hello to the Christians there. Then he went north to Antioch, a town in Syria country.

²³ Paul spent some time with the Christians in Antioch, then he left and went again to Galatia and Phrygia countries. He taught the Christians in those places more about Jesus, to make them strong for him.

²⁴ At that time there was a Jewish man called Apollos living in a town called Alexandria. Somebody there taught him some things about Jesus. Then he got up and went to Ephesus. He could talk really good and he knew God’s book properly, and he was happy to teach people about Jesus. He taught them the things he knew, but he didn’t know the whole story about Jesus. He only knew the message John the Baptiser taught to people.

²² and came vnto Cesarea: and ascended and saluted the congregacion and departed vnto Antioche

²³ and when he had taryed there a whyle he departed. And went over all the countre of Galacia and Phrigia by order strengthynge all the disciples.

²⁴ And a certayne Iewe named Apollos borne at Alexandria came to Ephesus an eloquent man and myghty in the scriptures.
