Acts 15:27-36 in American Standard Version (1901)

27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also shall tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 that ye abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which if ye keep yourselves, it shall be well with you. Fare ye well.
30 So they, when they were dismissed, came down to Antioch; and having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle.
31 And when they had read it, they rejoiced for the consolation.
32 And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
33 And after they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brethren unto those that had sent them forth.
35 But Paul and Barnabas tarried in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 And after some days Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city wherein we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they fare.
Acts 15 in American Standard Version (1901)

Acts 15:27-36 in King James (Authorized) Version

27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.
33 And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.
34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.
35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

Acts 15:27-36 in Translation for Translators

27 We (exc) have also chosen Judas and Silas to go to you. They will tell you the same things that we are writing.
28 The Holy Spirit and also we decided that you should not be required {that we should not require you} to obey a lot of burdensome Jewish laws. Instead, we only require you to obey the following instructions,
29 You should not eat food that people have sacrificed to idols. You should not eat blood from animals, and you should not eat meat from animals that people have killed by strangling them. Also, you should not have sex with someone to whom you are not married. Those things especially offend Jewish believers. So if you avoid doing them, you will be doing what is right. That is all.”
30 The four men whom they had chosen went from Jerusalem to Antioch city. When all the believers there had assembled together, Judas and Silas gave the letter to them.
31 When the believers there read the letter, they rejoiced, because its message encouraged them.
32 Just like Paul and Barnabas were ◄ prophets/men who spoke messages from God►, Judas and Silas were also prophets. They spoke for a long time and encouraged the believers there, and helped them to trust more strongly in the Lord Jesus.
33 After Judas and Silas had stayed in Antioch for some time and were ready to return to Jerusalem , the believers there wished them well, and the believers prayed that God would protect them as they traveled. So the two men started to go back to the leaders in Jerusalem who had asked them to go to Antioch .
35 However, Paul and Barnabas continued to stay in Antioch. While they were there, they, along with many others, were teaching people and preaching to them the message about the Lord Jesus.
36 After some time Paul said to Barnabas, “Let's go back and visit the fellow believers in every city where we previously proclaimed the message about the Lord Jesus. In that way, we will know how well they are continuing to believe in the Lord Jesus.”

30 So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.

27 And so we have sent Judas and Silas, who will say the same things to you themselves, by word of mouth.
28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us, to put on you nothing more than these necessary things;
29 To keep from things offered to false gods, and from blood, and from things put to death in ways which are against the law, and from the evil desires of the body; if you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. May you be happy.
30 So they, being sent away, came down to Antioch, and having got the people together, they gave them the letter.
31 And after reading it, they were glad of its comfort.
32 And Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, gave teaching to the brothers and made them strong in the faith.
33 And when they had been there for some time, they were sent back in peace by the brothers to those who had sent them.
35 But Paul and Barnabas kept on in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of God, with a number of others.
36 And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas, Let us go back and see the brothers in every town where we have given the word of God, and see how they are.

27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves also will tell you by word of mouth the same things.
28 For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
29 to abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what is strangled, and from fornication; keeping yourselves from which ye will do well. Farewell.
30 They therefore, being let go, came to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude delivered to them the epistle.
31 And having read it, they rejoiced at the consolation.
32 And Judas and Silas, being themselves also prophets, exhorted the brethren with much discourse, and strengthened them.
33 And having passed some time there, they were let go in peace from the brethren to those who sent them.
35 And Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and announcing the glad tidings, with many others also, of the word of the Lord.
36 But after certain days Paul said to Barnabas, Let us return now and visit the brethren in every city where we have announced the word of the Lord, and see how they are getting on.

Acts 15:27-36 in Douay-Rheims 1899

27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who themselves also will, by word of mouth, tell you the same things.
28 For it hath seemed good to the Holy Ghost and to us, to lay no further burden upon you than these necessary things:
29 That you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication; from which things keeping yourselves, you shall do well. Fare ye well.
30 They therefore being dismissed, went down to Antioch; and gathering together the multitude, delivered the epistle.
31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
32 But Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, with many words comforted the brethren, and confirmed them.
33 And after they had spent some time there, they were let go with peace by the brethren, unto them that had sent them.
34 But it seemed good unto Silas to remain there; and Judas alone departed to Jerusalem.
35 And Paul and Barnabas continued at Antioch, teaching and preaching, with many others, the word of the Lord.
36 And after some days, Paul said to Barnabas: Let us return and visit our brethren in all the cities wherein we have preached the word of the Lord, to see how they do.

Acts 15:27-36 in English Majority Text Version

27 We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also tell you the same things by word of mouth.
28 For it seemed best to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to put on you no greater burden except for these necessary things:
29 that you abstain from meat offered to idols, and from blood, and from anything strangled, and from sexual immorality; from which keeping yourselves back, you will do well. Farewell.
30 Then having been dismissed, they came to Antioch; and having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
31 And when they had read it, they rejoiced over its encouragement.
32 Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words.
33 And after some time, they were dismissed with peace from the brothers to the apostles.
35 But Paul and Barnabas spent time in Antioch, teaching and preaching the good news of the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 Then after some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return now and visit our brothers in each city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are.”

27 So we have sent Judas and Silas, who will also confirm these things by word of mouth.
28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to place no greater burden upon you than these necessary things:
29 to abstain from things offered to idols, from ‘blood’, from anything strangled and from fornication; it will be in your own best interest to keep away from these things. Farewell.”
30 So when they were sent off they came to Antioch, and gathering the crowd they delivered the letter.
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
32 Both Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged and strengthened the brothers with many words.
33 After some time, they were released with peace from the brothers to the apostles.
35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the Word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let us return now and visit our brothers in each city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

27 So we are sending to you Judas and Silas who can verbally confirm what we're saying.
28 It seemed best to the Holy Spirit and to us not to place on you any heavier burden than these important requirements.
29 You should avoid: anything sacrificed to idols; blood; meat from strangled animals; and sexual immorality. You will do well to observe these requirements. God bless you.”
30 The men were sent on their way to Antioch. When they arrived they called everybody together and delivered the letter.
31 After they had read it, the people were so happy for the encouraging message.
32 Judas and Silas, who were also prophets, encouraged the brothers, explaining many things, and strengthening them.
33 After spending some time there they were sent back by the brothers with their blessing to the believers in Jerusalem.
35 But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of God along with many others.
36 Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, “Let's go back and visit the believers in every town where we shared the word of the Lord, and see how they're doing.”

29 That you abstain from food offered to idols, from blood, from eating the flesh of strangled animals, and from impurity. If you guard yourselves against such things, it will be well with you. Farewell.’
30 So the bearers of this letter were sent on their way, and went down to Antioch. There they called a meeting of all the followers,

Make sure you don’t do those things, and you will be all right. That’s our message to you now. Goodbye.”

30 So, when they were sent off, they came to Antioch. Having gathered the multitude together, they delivered the letter.
31 When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.
32 Judah and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.
33 After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the emissaries.
35 But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming the word of the Lord, with many others also.
36 After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

Deeds (Act) of Apostles 15:27-36 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling

27 Therefore we sent Judas and Silas, and they shall tell the same things to you by words.
28 For it is seen to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to put to you nothing more of charge, than these needful things,
29 that ye abstain you from the offered things of maumets or simu-lacra, and blood strangled, and forni-cation. From which ye keeping you, shall do well. Fare ye well.
30 Therefore they were let go or dismissed, and came down to Antioch; and when the multitude was gathered, they betook the epistle;
31 which when they had read, they joyed on the comfort.
32 And Judas and Silas and they, for they were prophets, comforted brothers, and confirmed them with full many words.
33 But after that they had been there a little while, they were let go of brethren with peace or they were dismissed with peace of brethren, to them that had sent them.
34 But it was seen to Silas, to dwell there; and Judas went alone to Jeru-salem.
35 And Paul and Barnabas dwelt at Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with others many or with many others.
36 But after some days, Paul said to Barnabas, Turn we again, and visit we our brethren by all cities, in which we have preached the word of the Lord, how they have them.

Deeds (Act) of Apostles 15:27-36 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling (Enhanced)

27 Therefore we sent Judas and Silas, and they shall tell the same things to you by words.
28 For it is seen to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to put to you nothing more of charge, than these needful things, (For it is seen by the Holy Spirit, and by us, to put no other burden upon you, other than these necessary things,)
29 that ye abstain you from the offered things of maumets or of simulacra, and blood strangled, and fornication, (or that ye abstain yourselves from the food offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled things, and from fornication). From which ye keeping you(rselves), shall do well. Fare ye well.
30 Therefore they were let go or dismissed, and came down to Antioch; and when the multitude was gathered, they (be)took the epistle (or they delivered the letter);
31 which when they had read (it), they joyed on the comfort. (and when they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement that it gave to them.)
32 And Judas and Silas and they, for they were prophets, comforted (or strengthened) (the) brothers, and confirmed them with full many words.
33 But after that they had been there a little while, they were let go of (the) brethren with peace, (or they were sent forth by the brothers with peace), or they were dismissed with peace of (or from) (the) brethren, (back) to them that had sent them.
34 But it was seen to Silas, to dwell there; and Judas went alone to Jerusalem.
35 And Paul and Barnabas dwelt at Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with others many or with many others.
36 But after some days, Paul said to Barnabas, Turn we again, and visit we our brethren by all (the) cities, in which we have preached the word of the Lord, how they have them. (But after some days, Paul said to Barnabas, Let us return, and visit our brothers in all the cities, in which we have preached the word of the Lord, to learn how they be doing.)

Acts 15:27-36 in Young's Literal Translation

27 we have sent, therefore, Judas and Silas, and they by word are telling the same things.
28 'For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, no more burden to lay upon you, except these necessary things:
29 to abstain from things offered to idols, and blood, and a strangled thing, and whoredom; from which keeping yourselves, ye shall do well; be strong!'
30 They then, indeed, having been let go, went to Antioch, and having brought the multitude together, did deliver the epistle,
31 and they having read, did rejoice for the consolation;
32 Judas also and Silas, being themselves also prophets, through much discourse did exhort the brethren, and confirm,
33 and having passed some time, they were let go with peace from the brethren unto the apostles;
34 and it seemed good to Silas to remain there still.
35 And Paul and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and proclaiming good news — with many others also — the word of the Lord;
36 and after certain days, Paul said unto Barnabas, 'Having turned back again, we may look after our brethren, in every city in which we have preached the word of the Lord — how they are.'
