⁵ Turn away thine eyes from me, For they have overcome me. Thy hair is as a flock of goats, That lie along the side of Gilead.

⁶ Thy teeth are like a flock of ewes, Which are come up from the washing; Whereof every one hath twins, And none is bereaved among them.

⁷ Thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate Behind thy veil.

⁸ There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, And virgins without number.

⁵ Turn away thine eyes from before me, for they have ravished me: thy hair is as flocks of goats which have appeared from Galaad.

⁶ Thy teeth are as flocks of shorn sheep, that have gone up from the washing, all of them bearing twins, and there is none barren among them: thy lips are as a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely.

⁷ Thy cheek is like the rind of a pomegranate, being seen without thy veil.

⁸ There are sixty queens, and eighty concubines, and maidens without number.

⁶ Your teeth are very white like SIM a flock of sheep whose wool has just been shorn and that have come up from being washed in a stream. You have all of your teeth; none of them is missing.

⁷ Beneath your veil, your cheeks are like SIM the halves of a pomegranate.

⁸ Even if a king had 60 queens and 80 ◄concubines/slave wives► and more young women than anyone can count,

⁵ Please turn your eyes away from me—they're driving me insane! Your hair flows down like a flock of goats descending Mount Gilead.

⁶ Your teeth are as white as a flock of sheep that are just shorn and washed. None of them are missing—they are all perfectly matched!

⁷ Your cheeks are the blushing color of pomegranates behind your veil.

⁸ There may be sixty queens and eighty concubines, and countless more women,

⁵ Thy teeth are like a flocke of sheepe, which goe vp from the washing, which euery one bring out twinnes, and none is barren among them.

⁸ Threescore are the queens, and fourscore the concubines, And the maidens without number.

⁶ Thy teeth as a row of the lambs, That have come up from the washing, Because all of them are forming twins, And a bereaved one is not among them.

⁷ As the work of the pomegranate is thy temple behind thy veil.

⁸ Sixty are queens, and eighty concubines, And virgins without number.
