¹⁰ My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

¹¹ For, lo, the winter is past; The rain is over and gone;

¹² The flowers appear on the earth; The time of the singing of birds is come, And the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land;

¹³ The fig-tree ripeneth her green figs, And the vines are in blossom; They give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

¹⁰ My kinsman answers, and says to me, Rise up, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove.

¹¹ For, behold, the winter is past, the rain is gone, it has departed.

¹² The flowers are seen in the land; the time of pruning has arrived; the voice of the turtle-dove has been heard in our land.

¹³ The fig-tree has put forth its young figs, the vines put forth the tender grape, they yield a smell: arise, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove; yea, come.

¹¹ Look, the ◄winter/cold season► is ended; the rain has stopped;

¹² flowers are blooming throughout the country/land. It is now time to sing; we hear the doves cooing.

¹³ There are young/new figs on the fig trees, and there are blossoms on the grapevines and their fragrance fills the air. You whom I love, get up; my beautiful one, come with me!

¹⁰ My kinsman answers, and says to me, Rise up, come, my companion, my fair one, my dove.

¹¹ For, see, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;

¹² The flowers are come on the earth; the time of cutting the vines is come, and the voice of the dove is sounding in our land;

¹³ The fig-tree puts out her green fruit and the vines with their young fruit give a good smell. Get up from your bed, my beautiful one, and come away.

¹⁰ My beloved spake and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

¹¹ For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over, it is gone:

¹² The flowers appear on the earth; The time of singing is come, And the voice of the turtle-dove is heard in our land;

¹³ The fig-tree melloweth her winter figs, And the vines in bloom give forth their fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away!

¹⁰ Behold my beloved speaketh to me: Arise, make haste, my love, my dove, my beautiful one, and come.

¹¹ For winter is now past, the rain is over and gone.

¹² The flowers have appeared in our land, the time of pruning is come: the voice of the turtle is heard in our land:

¹³ The fig tree hath put forth her green figs: the vines in flower yield their sweet smell. Arise, my love, my beautiful one, and come:

¹⁰ My love calls out to me, “Get up, my darling, my beautiful girl, and come away with me! Just look!

¹¹ Winter has finished; the rains are over and gone.

¹² Flowers are blooming everywhere; the time when birds sing has come; the call of the turtledove is heard in the countryside.

¹³ Fig trees start producing ripe fruit, while grape vines blossom, giving off their fragrance. Get up, my darling, my beautiful girl, and come away with me!”

¹⁰ My welbeloued spake and said vnto me, Arise, my loue, my faire one, and come thy way.

¹¹ For beholde, winter is past: the raine is changed, and is gone away.

¹² The flowers appeare in the earth: the time of the singing of birdes is come, and the voyce of the turtle is heard in our land.

¹³ The figtree hath brought foorth her yong figges: and the vines with their small grapes haue cast a sauour: arise my loue, my faire one, and come away.

¹² The flowers have appeared in the land; the time for pruning and the singing of birds has come, and the sound of the doves is heard in our land.

¹¹ for winter is passed now, rain is gone, and is departed away.

¹² Flowers have appeared in our land, and the time of cutting is come; the voice of a turtle is heard in our land,

¹³ the fig tree hath brought forth his buds; the vineries flowering have given their odour. My love, my fair spousess, rise thou, haste thou, and come thou.

¹⁰ Lo! my darling speaketh to me, My love, my culver, my fair spousess, rise thou, haste thou, and come thou; (Behold! my darling speaketh to me, and saith, My love, my dove, my beautiful (spousess), rise thou up, hasten thou, and come thou away;)

¹¹ for winter is passed now, rain is gone, and is departed away. (for the winter is now passed, the rains have gone away, yea, they have departed at last.)

¹² Flowers have appeared in our land, and the time of cutting is come; the voice of a turtle is heard in our land (or the song of a turtledove is heard in our land),

¹³ the fig tree hath brought forth his buds; the vineries flowering have given their odour. My love, my fair spousess, rise thou, haste thou, and come thou. ¹² The flowers have appeared in the earth, The time of the singing hath come, And the voice of the turtle was heard in our land,

¹³ The fig-tree hath ripened her green figs, And the sweet-smelling vines have given forth fragrance, Rise, come, my friend, my fair one, yea, come away.
