⁴⁸ What man is he that shall live and not see death, That shall deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah

⁴⁹ Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, Which thou swarest unto David in thy faithfulness?

⁵⁰ Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; How I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty peoples,

⁵¹ Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O Jehovah, Wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

⁵² Blessed be Jehovah for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

⁴⁸ No one can RHQ keep on living and never die; ◄No one can RHQ avoid going/Everyone will go► to the place of the dead.

⁴⁹ Yahweh, you promised long ago that you would faithfully love us; why are you not doing that? You solemnly promised that to David!

⁵⁰ Yahweh, do not forget that people insult me! ◄Heathen people/People who do not know you► curse me!

⁵¹ Yahweh, your enemies insult your chosen king! They insult/ridicule him wherever he goes.

⁵² I hope/desire that Yahweh will be praised forever! Amen! May it be so!

⁴⁹ Where is the trustworthy love you used to have, Lord, that you faithfully promised to David?

⁵⁰ Don't forget, Lord, how your servants are being humiliated! I'm burdened down with the insults of so many nations!

⁵² Blessed be the Lord without end; be it done, be it done.

⁴⁸ Who is a man, that shall live, and shall not see death; shall (he) deliver his soul from the hand of hell? (What man shall live, and shall not see death? can he save his soul from the power of Sheol, or the land of the dead? or from the power of the grave?)

⁴⁹ Lord, where be thine eld mercies; as thou hast sworn to David in thy truth? (Lord, where be the former acts, or the earlier proofs, of thy constant love? yea, those promises that thou hast sworn to David in thy faithfulness?)

⁵⁰ Lord, be thou mindful of the shame of thy servants; (of the curses) of many heathen men, which I held together in my bosom. (Lord, remember thy servant’s shame; remember the curses of many of the heathen, which I carried in my heart.)

⁵¹ Which thine enemies, Lord, did shamefully; for they despised the changing of thy christ. (Which thy enemies, Lord, spoke shamefully to me; for they despised the footsteps of thy anointed king or for they despised the successors of thy anointed king.)

⁵² Blessed be the Lord into without end; be it done, be it done. (Blessed be the Lord forever; amen, amen.)
