¹⁶ Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment: The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah

¹⁷ The wicked shall be turned back unto Sheol, Even all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸ For the needy shall not alway be forgotten, Nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.

¹⁹ Arise, O Jehovah; let not man prevail: Let the nations be judged in thy sight.

²⁰ Put them in fear, O Jehovah: Let the nations know themselves to be but men. Selah

¹⁶ The heathen are caught in the destruction which they planned: in the very snare which they hid is their foot taken.

¹⁶ Because of what you have done, people know that you decide matters fairly/justly, but you allow wicked people to be trapped by the same evil things that they themselves do.

¹⁷ Wicked people will all die and be buried in their graves, and their spirits will go to be with all those who have ◄forgotten about/rejected► you.

¹⁸ But you will not forget those who are needy/poor; what they confidently expect will certainly happen.

¹⁹ Yahweh, arise and judge the wicked people of the nations; do not allow them to think that because they are strong they will never be punished.

²⁰ Yahweh, teach them to be terrified about you. Cause them to know that they are merely human beings.

¹⁹ Lord, rise thou up, a man be not comforted; the folks be deemed in thy sight. (Lord, rise thou up, and do not let anyone boast of his own strength; let the nations be judged before thee.)

²⁰ Lord, ordain thou a law maker upon them; know folks, that they be men. (Lord, make them afraid; let all the nations know, that they only be people.)
