¹² For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them; He forgetteth not the cry of the poor.

¹³ Have mercy upon me, O Jehovah; Behold my affliction which I suffer of them that hate me, Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;

¹⁴ That I may show forth all thy praise. In the gates of the daughter of Zion I will rejoice in thy salvation.

¹⁵ The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: In the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

¹² Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Sion: declare his dealings among the nations.

¹³ For he remembered them, in making inquisition for blood: he has not forgotten the supplication of the poor.

¹⁴ Have mercy upon me, O Lord; look upon my affliction which I suffer of mine enemies, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

¹³ Yahweh, be merciful to me! Look at the ways that my enemies have injured me. Do not allow me to die because of these injuries.

¹⁴ I want to live in order that I can praise you at the gates of Jerusalem MTY and to rejoice because you rescued me.

¹⁵ It is as though the wicked people of many nations have dug a pit for me to fall into MET, but they have fallen into that same pit. It is as if they spread out a net to catch me MET, but their feet have been caught in that same net.

¹³ For requiring their blood he hath remembered the: he hath not forgotten the cry of the poor.

¹⁴ Have mercy on me, O Lord: see my humiliation which I suffer from my enemies.

¹⁵ Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Sion.

¹² He does not forget to punish murderers; he does not ignore the cries of the suffering.

¹³ Be gracious to me, Lord! Look at how my enemies are persecuting me! Grab me back from the gates of death,

¹⁴ so I can praise you at Zion's gates, happy that you have saved me.

¹⁵ The nations have fallen into their own pit they dug; their feet are trapped by their own net they set.

¹² For whe he maketh inquisition for blood, hee remembreth it, and forgetteth not the complaint of the poore.

¹³ Haue mercie vpon mee, O Lord: consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate mee, thou that liftest me vp from the gates of death,

¹⁴ That I may shewe all thy praises within the gates of the daughter of Zion, and reioyce in thy saluation.

¹⁵ The heathen are sunken downe in the pit that they made: in the nette that they hid, is their foote taken.

¹³ (9-14) Be gracious unto me, O LORD, behold mine affliction at the hands of them that hate me; Thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;

¹⁴ (9-15) That I may tell of all Thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion, that I may rejoice in Thy salvation.

¹⁵ (9:16) Sunk are nations in the ditch that they have prepared: in this net which they had laid in secret is their own foot caught.

¹³ Show me favour, Lord, see how my foes afflict me, lift me up from the gates of death;

¹⁴ so I may, in your help exulting, tell forth your praise at the gates of Zion.

¹⁴ that I tell all thy praisings in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I shall be fully joyful or joy fully in thine health;

¹⁵ heathen men be fast-set in the perishing, which they made. In this snare, which they hid, the foot of them is caught.

¹² God forgetteth not the cry of poor men; for he hath mind of them, and he seeketh the blood of them. (For God forgetteth not the cry of the poor; yea, he hath remembered them, and he seeketh to avenge them.)

¹³ Lord, have thou mercy on me; see thou my meekness of mine enemies. Which enhancest me from the gates of death; (Lord, have thou mercy on me; see thou all the trouble that my enemies have caused me. But thou hast lifted me up from the gates of death;)

¹⁴ that I tell all thy praisings in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I shall be fully joyful in thine health/I shall joy fully in thine health; (so that I can tell out all thy praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I shall make full out joy in thy salvation of me or I shall rejoice in thy deliverance of me;)

¹⁵ heathen men be fast-set in the perishing, which they made. In this snare, which they hid, the foot of them is caught. (but let the heathen be set fast in the perishing, which they themselves have made. Yea, let their feet be caught in the snare, which they themselves have hid.)

¹² For He who is seeking for blood Them hath remembered, He hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.

¹³ Favour me, O Jehovah, See mine affliction by those hating me, Thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,

¹⁴ So that I recount all Thy praise, In the gates of the daughter of Zion. I rejoice on Thy salvation.
