¹ For the Chief Musician; set to Muth-labben. A Psalm of David. I will give thanks unto Jehovah with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works.

² I will be glad and exult in thee; I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High.

³ When mine enemies turn back, They stumble and perish at thy presence.

⁴ For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; Thou sittest in the throne judging righteously.

⁵ Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁶ The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; And the cities which thou hast overthrown, The very remembrance of them is perished.

⁷ But Jehovah sitteth as king for ever: He hath prepared his throne for judgment;

⁸ And he will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

⁹ Jehovah also will be a high tower for the oppressed, A high tower in times of trouble;

¹⁰ And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; For thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹ Sing praises to Jehovah, who dwelleth in Zion: Declare among the people his doings.

¹² For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them; He forgetteth not the cry of the poor.

¹¹ And let them that know thy name hope in thee: for thou, O Lord, hast not failed them that diligently seek thee.

¹ Yahweh, I will praise you with all of my inner being. I will tell others about all the wonderful things that you have done.

² I will sing to celebrate what you MTY, who are much greater than all other gods, have done.

³ When my enemies realize that you are very powerful, they stumble, and then they are killed.

⁴ You sat on your throne to judge people, and you have judged fairly/justly concerning me.

⁵ You rebuked the people of other nations and you have gotten rid of the wicked people; you have erased their names forever.

⁶ Our enemies have disappeared; you destroyed their cities, and people do not even remember them anymore.

⁷ But Yahweh rules forever. He judges people while he sits on his throne to judge people,

⁸ and he will judge all the people in SYN the world justly; he will judge the people of all nations fairly DOU.

⁹ Yahweh will be a refuge for those who are oppressed; yes, he will be like a shelter for them when they have trouble.

¹⁰ Those who know Yahweh MTY trust in him; he never abandons those who come to him ◄ for help/to worship him►.

¹¹ Yahweh rules from Zion Hill; praise him while you sing to him. Tell the people of all the nations the marvelous things that he has done.

¹² He does not forget to punish those who have murdered others; and he will not ignore people who are crying because they are suffering.

⁴ For you gave approval to my right and my cause; you were seated in your high place judging in righteousness.

⁵ You have said sharp words to the nations, you have sent destruction on the sinners, you have put an end to their name for ever and ever.

⁶ You have given their towns to destruction; the memory of them has gone; they have become waste for ever.

⁷ But the Lord is King for ever: he has made ready his high seat for judging.

⁸ And he will be the judge of the world in righteousness, giving true decisions for the peoples.

⁹ The Lord will be a high tower for those who are crushed down, a high tower in times of trouble;

¹⁰ And those who have knowledge of your name will put their faith in you; because you, Lord, have ever given your help to those who were waiting for you.

¹¹ Make songs of praise to the Lord, whose house is in Zion: make his doings clear to the people.

¹² When he makes search for blood, he has them in his memory: he is not without thought for the cry of the poor.

⁹ And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.

¹⁰ And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹ Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.

¹² For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.

¹ Unto the end, for the hidden things of the Son. A psalm for David.

⁴ When my enemy shall be turned back: they shall be weakened and perish before thy face.

⁵ For thou hast maintained my judgment and my cause: thou hast sat on the throne, who judgest justice.

⁶ Thou hast rebuked the Gentiles, and the wicked one hath perished: thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁷ The swords of the enemy have failed unto the end: and their cities thou hast destroyed. Their memory hath perished with a noise.

⁸ But the Lord remaineth for ever. He hath prepared his throne in judgment:

⁹ And he shall judge the world in equity, he shall judge the people in justice.

¹⁰ And the Lord is become a refuge for the poor: a helper in due time in tribulation.

¹¹ And let them trust in thee who know thy name: for thou hast not forsaken them that seek thee, O Lord.

¹² Sing ye to the Lord, who dwelleth in Sion: declare his ways among the Gentiles:

¹ For the music director. According to Muth-labben. A psalm of David. I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the amazing things you have done.

² I will be glad and celebrate in you; I will sing praises to your wonderful nature, Most High God.

³ Those who hate me retreat; they fall back and die when you confront them.

⁴ For you have judged that I am right; you have decided fairly from your throne of judgment.

⁵ You have condemned the nations; you have destroyed the wicked; you have wiped out their names forever and ever.

⁶ The enemies are finished, ruined forever; their cities are destroyed—even the memory of them is gone.

⁷ But the Lord rules forever, his throne is set up for judgment.

⁸ The Lord judges the world rightly; he judges the nations fairly.

⁹ The Lord is a place of safety for those who are oppressed, a fortress in times of trouble.

¹⁰ Those who know your nature trust in you, for you don't abandon those who come to you.

¹¹ Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Zion! Tell the nations what he has done!

¹² He does not forget to punish murderers; he does not ignore the cries of the suffering.

² I will bee glad, and reioyce in thee: I will sing praise to thy Name, O most High,

³ For that mine enemies are turned backe: they shall fall, and perish at thy presence.

⁴ For thou hast maintained my right and my cause: thou art set in the throne, and iudgest right.

⁵ Thou hast rebuked the heathen: thou hast destroyed the wicked: thou hast put out their name for euer and euer.

⁶ O enemie, destructions are come to a perpetual end, and thou hast destroyed the cities: their memoriall is perished with them.

⁷ But the Lord shall sit for euer: hee hath prepared his throne for iudgement.

⁸ For he shall iudge the worlde in righteousnes, and shall iudge the people with equitie.

⁹ The Lord also wil be a refuge for the poore, a refuge in due time, euen in affliction.

¹⁰ And they that know thy Name, will trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not failed them that seeke thee.

⁵ (9-6) Thou hast rebuked the nations, Thou hast destroyed the wicked, Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

⁶ (9-7) O thou enemy, the waste places are come to an end for ever; and the cities which thou didst uproot, their very memorial is perished.

⁷ (9-8) But the LORD is enthroned for ever; He hath established His throne for judgment.

⁸ (9-9) And He will judge the world in righteousness, He will minister judgment to the peoples with equity.

⁹ (9-10) The LORD also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;

¹⁰ (9-11) And they that know Thy name will put their trust in Thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek Thee.

³ (9:4) When my enemies are turned backward, when they fall and perish at thy presence.

⁴ (9:5) For thou hast conducted my dispute and my cause; thou hast sat on the throne as a righteous judge.

⁵ (9:6) Thou hast rebuked nations, thou hast caused the wicked to perish, their name hast thou blotted out for ever and ever.

⁶ (9:7) O thou enemy, the ruins are passed away for ever, and the cities which thou hast destroyed,—lost is their memorial, yea, theirs.

⁷ (9:8) But the Lord will sit enthroned for ever: he hath established for giving judgment his throne.

⁸ (9:9) And he will judge the world with righteousness, he shall decide for the people, with equity.

⁹ (9:10) The Lord also will be a strong-hold for the oppressed, a strong-hold in times of distress.

¹⁰ (9:11) And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou hast not forsaken those that seek thee, O Lord.

¹¹ (9:12) Sing praises to the Lord, who dwelleth in Zion: announce among the people his deeds.

¹² (9:13) For he, that inquireth after acts of blood, hath remembered them: he hath not forgotten the cry of the afflicted.

³ All my enemies are turned back; They fall and perish at thy presence.

⁴ For thou dost defend my right and my cause; Thou sittest upon the throne, a righteous judge.

⁵ Thou rebukest the nations; Thou destroyest the wicked; Thou blottest out their name for evermore!

⁶ The enemy is fallen,—a desolation for ever! Thou, O LORD! hast destroyed their cities; Their memory itself hath perished!

⁷ The LORD reigneth for ever; He hath prepared his throne for judgment.

⁸ He judgeth the world in righteousness; He administereth judgment to the nations with uprightness.

⁹ Yea, the LORD is a refuge for the oppressed; A refuge in times of trouble.

¹⁰ They who know thy name put their trust in thee; For thou, O LORD! forsakest not them that seek thee!

¹¹ Sing praises to the LORD, who reigneth in Zion; Declare his doings among the people!

¹² As the avenger of blood, he remembereth the distressed; He forgetteth not their complaint.

¹ For the leader; 'almuth labben. A psalm of David. With all my heart I will praise the Lord, all your wonders I will rehearse.

² I will rejoice and exult in you, singing praise to your name, Most High;

³ because backward my foes were turned, they stumbled and perished before you.

⁴ My right and my claim you have upheld, you did sit on the throne as a fair judge,

⁵ rebuking the nations, destroying the wicked, and blotting their name out forever and ever.

⁶ The foe is vanished, ruined forever, their cities destroyed, their memory perished.

⁷ See! The Lord is seated forever on the throne he established for judgement,

⁸ ruling the world with justice, and judging the nations with equity.

⁹ So the Lord proves a haven to the oppressed, a haven in times of trouble.

¹⁰ Well may they trust you who know your name, for those who seek you, you never abandon.

¹¹ Sing praise to the Lord, whose home is in Zion, declare his deeds amongst the nations.

¹² As avenger of blood, he keeps them in mind, he does not forget the cry of the wretched.
