⁵ Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his footstool: Holy is he.

⁶ Moses and Aaron among his priests, And Samuel among them that call upon his name; They called upon Jehovah, and he answered them.

⁷ He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, And the statute that he gave them.

⁸ Thou answeredst them, O Jehovah our God: Thou wast a God that forgavest them, Though thou tookest vengeance of their doings.

⁹ Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And worship at his holy hill; For Jehovah our God is holy.

⁵ For the Lord is good, his mercy is for ever; and his truth endures to generation and generation.

⁶ Moses and Aaron were two of his priests; Samuel also was someone who prayed to him. Those three cried out to Yahweh to help them, and he answered them.

⁷ He spoke to Moses and Aaron from the cloud that was like a huge pillar; they obeyed all the laws and commandments DOU that he gave to them.

⁸ Yahweh, our God, you answered your people when they cried out to you to help them; you are a God who forgave them for those sins that they had committed, even though you punished them for the things that they did that are wrong.

⁹ Praise Yahweh, our God, and worship him at the temple on his sacred hill; it is right to do that because Yahweh, our God, is holy!

⁷ His voice came to them from the pillar of cloud; they kept his witness, and the law which he gave them.

⁸ You gave them an answer, O Lord our God; you took away their sin, though you gave them punishment for their wrongdoing.

⁹ Give high honour to the Lord our God, worshipping with your faces turned to his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

⁸ O Jehovah, our God, Thou hast afflicted them, A God forgiving Thou hast been to them, And taking vengeance on their actions.
