¹ Jehovah reigneth; let the earth rejoice; Let the multitude of isles be glad.

² Clouds and darkness are round about him: Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

³ A fire goeth before him, And burneth up his adversaries round about.

⁴ His lightnings lightened the world: The earth saw, and trembled.

⁵ The mountains melted like wax at the presence of Jehovah, At the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness, And all the peoples have seen his glory.

⁷ Let all them be put to shame that serve graven images, That boast themselves of idols: Worship him, all ye gods.

⁸ Zion heard and was glad, And the daughters of Judah rejoiced, Because of thy judgments, O Jehovah.

⁹ For thou, Jehovah, art most high above all the earth: Thou art exalted far above all gods.

¹⁰ O ye that love Jehovah, hate evil: He preserveth the souls of his saints; He delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹ A Psalm of David. Sing to the Lord a new song; for the Lord has wrought wonderful works, his right hand, and his holy arm, have wrought salvation for him.

² The Lord has made known his salvation, he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

³ He has remembered his mercy to Jacob, and his truth to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

⁶ With trumpets of metal, and the sound of a trumpet of horn make a joyful noise to the Lord before the king.

⁷ Let the sea be moved, and the fulness of it; the world, and they that dwell in it.

⁸ The rivers shall clap their hands together; the mountains shall exult.

⁹ For he is come to judge the earth; he shall judge the world in righteousness, and the nations in uprightness.

¹ Yahweh is the king! I want everyone on the earth to be glad/happy, and the people who live on the islands in the oceans to also rejoice about that!

² There are very dark clouds around him to hide him; he rules MTY righteously/justly and fairly.

³ He sends fire in front of him, and he completely burns all his enemies in that fire.

⁴ All around the world he causes lightning to flash; people on the earth see it, and it causes them to be afraid and tremble.

⁵ The mountains/hills melt like wax in front of Yahweh, the one who is the Lord, who rules over all the earth.

⁶ The angels in MTY heaven proclaim that he acts righteously, and all the people-groups see his glory.

⁷ Everyone who worships idols should be ashamed; all those who are proud of their false gods should realize that their gods are useless, It is as though all those gods bow down to worship Yahweh.

⁸ The people MTY of Jerusalem hear about Yahweh and are glad/happy, and people in the other MTY cities in Judah also rejoice, because Yahweh judges and punishes wicked people.

⁹ Yahweh is the supreme king over all the earth; he has very great power, and all the other gods have no power at all.

¹⁰ Yahweh loves those who hate what people do that is evil; he protects the lives of his people, and he rescues them when the wicked people try to harm them.

⁵ The mountains became like wax at the coming of the Lord, at the coming of the Lord of all the earth.

⁶ The heavens gave out the news of his righteousness, and all the people saw his glory.

⁷ Shamed be all those who give worship to images, and take pride in false gods; give him worship, all you gods.

⁸ Zion gave ear and was glad; and the daughters of Judah were full of joy, because of your decisions, O Lord.

⁹ For you, Lord, are most high over the earth; you are lifted up over all other gods.

¹⁰ You who are lovers of the Lord, be haters of evil; he keeps the souls of his saints; he takes them out of the hand of sinners.

¹ A psalm for David himself. Sing ye to the Lord anew canticle: because he hath done wonderful things. His right hand hath wrought for him salvation, and his arm is holy.

² The Lord hath made known his salvation: he hath revealed his justice in the sight of the Gentiles.

³ He hath remembered his mercy his truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

⁴ Sing joyfully to God, all the earth; make melody, rejoice and sing.

⁵ Sing praise to the Lord on the harp, on the harp, and with the voice of a psalm:

⁶ With long trumpets, and sound of comet. Make a joyful noise before the Lord our king:

⁷ Let the sea be moved and the fulness thereof: the world and they that dwell therein.

⁸ The rivers shall clap their hands, the mountains shall rejoice together

⁹ At the presence of the Lord: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with equity.

¹ The Lord reigns! Let the earth be glad, and distant lands be full of joy!

² He is surrounded by clouds and thick darkness; his throne is founded on justice and right.

³ Flames proceed him, burning up his enemies on every side.

⁴ His flashes of lightning light up the world; the earth watches and trembles.

⁵ The mountains melt like wax in the presence of the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.

⁶ The heavens proclaim his goodness; everyone sees his glory.

⁷ All those who worship idols are humiliated, those who are proud of their idols—for all “gods” bow down before him.

⁸ Jerusalem hears this and celebrates; all the towns of Judah are happy because of your judgments, Lord.

⁹ For you, Lord, are the highest of all, ruling over the whole earth; your position is far above any other god.

¹⁰ You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of those who are faithful to him, and saves them from the power of wicked people.

¹ The Lord reigneth: let the earth reioyce: let the multitude of the yles be glad.

² Cloudes and darkenes are round about him: righteousnesse and iudgement are the foundation of his throne.

³ There shall goe a fire before him, and burne vp his enemies round about.

⁷ Let all them be shamed who serve engraved images, who boast in their idols. Worship him, all you gods!

⁸ Zion heard and was glad. The daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, LORD.

⁹ For you, LORD, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

¹⁰ You who love the LORD, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his holy ones. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

¹ The LORD reigns! Let the earth rejoice! Let the multitude of islands be glad!

² Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

³ A fire goes before him, and burns up his adversaries on every side.

⁴ His lightning lights up the world. The earth sees, and trembles.

⁵ The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

⁶ The heavens declare his righteousness. All the peoples have seen his glory.

³ Fire shall go before him; and shall enflame, either set afire, his enemies in compass.

⁴ His lightnings shined to the world; the earth saw, and was moved.

⁵ Hills as wax floated or flowed down from the face of the Lord; all earth from the face of the Lord.

⁶ Heavens told his rightfulness or rightwiseness; and all peoples saw his glory.

⁷ All they that worship graven things, or images, be shamed, and they that have glory in their simu-lacra; all ye angels of the Lord, worship him.

⁹ For thou, Lord, art the highest on all earth; thou art greatly enhanced over all gods.

¹⁰ Ye that love the Lord, hate evil; the Lord keepeth the souls of his saints; he shall deliver them from the hand of the sinner.

¹ The Lord hath reigned, the earth make full out joy; many isles be glad. (The Lord reigneth, let the earth rejoice; let the many isles be glad.)

² Cloud and darkness in his compass; rightfulness and doom is the amending of his seat. (Clouds and darkness surround him; righteousness and justice be the foundation of his throne.)

⁵ Hills as wax floated down from the face of the Lord; all earth from the face of the Lord. (The hills flowed down like wax before the Lord; before the Lord of all the earth.)

⁶ Heavens told his rightfulness; and all peoples saw his glory. (The heavens told out his righteousness; and all the peoples saw his glory.)

⁷ All they that worship graven things, or images, be shamed, and they that have glory in their simulacra; all ye angels of the Lord, worship him. (All those who worship carved images, be put to shame, and they who have glory in their idols; and all ye gods, worship him.)

⁸ Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah made full out joy, for thy dooms, Lord. (The people of Zion heard, and were glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced, for thy judgements, O Lord.)

⁹ For thou, Lord, art the highest on all earth; thou art greatly enhanced over all gods. (For thou, Lord, art most high over all the earth, or For thou, Most High, art lord over all the earth; thou art exalted far above all gods.)

¹⁰ Ye that love the Lord, hate evil, (or Ye who love the Lord, hate evil); the Lord keepeth (safe) the souls of his saints; he shall deliver them from the hand of the sinner.

¹ Jehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.

² Cloud and darkness are round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.

³ Fire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.

⁴ Lightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.

⁵ Hills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.

⁶ The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.

⁷ Ashamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.

⁸ Zion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.

⁹ For Thou, Jehovah, art Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.

¹⁰ Ye who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.
