¹ A Psalm, a Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks unto Jehovah, And to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High;

² To show forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, And thy faithfulness every night,

³ With an instrument of ten strings, and with the psaltery; With a solemn sound upon the harp.

⁴ For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁵ How great are thy works, O Jehovah! Thy thoughts are very deep.

¹ For the day before the Sabbath, when the land was first inhabited, the praise of a Song by David. The Lord reigns; he has clothed himself with honour: the Lord has clothed and girded himself with strength; for he has established the world, which shall not be moved.

² Thy throne is prepared of old: thou art from everlasting.

³ The rivers have lifted up, O Lord, the rivers have lifted up their voices,

⁴ at the voices of many waters: the billows of the sea are wonderful: the Lord is wonderful in high places.

⁵ Thy testimonies are made very sure: holiness becomes thine house, O Lord, for ever.

¹ Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you MTY who are greater than any other god.

² It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night to sing songs that declare that you always do what you have promised to do,

³ accompanied by musicians playing harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.

⁴ Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you SYN have done.

⁵ Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand all that you think.

³ Upon an instrument of ten strings and upon the lute; upon the Higgaion with the harp.

⁴ For thou, Jehovah, hast made me glad through thy work; I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

⁵ Jehovah, how great are thy works! Thy thoughts are very deep:

¹ The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved.

² Thy throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting.

³ The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves,

⁴ With the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high.

⁵ Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days.

¹ A psalm. A song for the Sabbath day. How good it is to thank the Lord, to sing praises to you, Most High,

² to tell of your trustworthy love in the morning, and your faithfulness in the night,

³ to the music of a ten-stringed harp and the melody of a lyre.

⁴ You've made me so happy, Lord, because of all you've done for me! I sing for joy at what you've done!

⁵ Lord, what you do is amazing; your thoughts are very profound!

² To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night,

³ Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.

⁴ For thou, Lord, hast made mee glad by thy workes, and I wil reioyce in the workes of thine handes.

⁵ O Lord, how glorious are thy workes! and thy thoughtes are very deepe.

³ with voice and a ten-stringed harp, with music that throbs on the lyre.

⁴ For you make me glad by your deeds, Lord, at the work of your hands I will ring out my joy.

⁵ How great are your works, O Lord; how deep are your thoughts!
