⁹ For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation;

¹⁰ There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.

¹¹ For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.

¹² They shall bear thee up in their hands, Lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

¹³ Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot.

¹⁴ Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

¹⁵ He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him.

¹⁶ With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.

⁹ But thou, O Lord, art most high for ever.

¹⁰ For, behold, thine enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

¹¹ But my horn shall be exalted as the horn of a unicorn; and mine old age with rich mercy.

¹² And mine eye has seen mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me.

¹³ The righteous shall flourish as a palm-tree: he shall be increased as the cedar in Libanus.

¹⁴ They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.

¹⁵ Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare

¹⁶ that the Lord my God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.

⁹ Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

⁹ If you allow Yahweh to protect you, if you trust God Almighty to ◄shelter/take care of► you,

¹⁰ nothing evil will happen to you; no plague will come near your house,

¹¹ because Yahweh will command his angels to protect you wherever you go.

¹² They will hold you up with their hands, with the result that you will not hurt your foot on a big stone.

¹³ You will be kept safe from being harmed by your enemies MET; it will be as though you are stepping on lions and poisonous snakes without them harming you!

¹⁴ Yahweh says, “I will rescue those who love me, I will protect them because they ◄acknowledge that I am Yahweh/know me►.

¹⁵ When they call out to me, I will answer them. I will help them when they are experiencing trouble; I will rescue them and honor them.

¹⁶ I will reward them by enabling them to live a long time, and I will save them.”

⁹ Because you have said, I am in the hands of the Lord, the Most High is my safe resting-place;

¹⁰ No evil will come on you, and no disease will come near your tent.

¹¹ For he will give you into the care of his angels to keep you wherever you go.

¹² In their hands they will keep you up, so that your foot may not be crushed against a stone.

¹³ You will put your foot on the lion and the snake; the young lion and the great snake will be crushed under your feet.

¹⁴ Because he has given me his love, I will take him out of danger: I will put him in a place of honour, because he has kept my name in his heart.

¹⁵ When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.

¹⁶ With long life will he be rewarded; and I will let him see my salvation.

⁹ Because thou hast made Jehovah, my refuge, the Most High, thy dwelling-place,

¹⁰ There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent.

¹¹ For he shall give his angels charge concerning thee, to keep thee in all thy ways:

¹² They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

¹³ Thou shalt tread upon the lion and the adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under foot.

¹² My eye also hath looked down upon my enemies: and my ear shall hear of the downfall of the malignant that rise up against me.

¹³ The just shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow up like the cedar of Libanus.

¹⁴ They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of the house of our God.

¹⁵ They shall still increase in a fruitful old age: and shall be well treated,

¹⁶ That they may shew, That the Lord our God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.

⁹ Because you have made the Lord your protection, and the Most High your home,

¹⁰ nothing evil will happen to you; no plague will come near where you live.

¹¹ For he will command his angels to take care of you in everything you do.

¹² They will hold you up with their hands so you won't trip and fall down.

¹³ You will trample lions and snakes; you will tread young lions and serpents underfoot.

¹⁴ I will save anyone who loves me; I will protect anyone who accepts me.

¹⁵ When they call out to me for help, I will answer; when they are in trouble, I will be with them. I will save and honor them.

¹⁶ I will grant them long lives, and show them my salvation.

⁹ For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.

¹⁰ There shall none euill come vnto thee, neither shall any plague come neere thy tabernacle.

¹¹ For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.

¹² They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.

¹³ Thou shalt walke vpon the lyon and aspe: the yong lyon and the dragon shalt thou treade vnder feete.

¹⁴ Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.

¹⁵ He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.

¹⁶ With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.

¹⁶ With long life will I satisfy him, and make Him to behold My salvation.'

⁹ You have made the Lord your refuge, you have made the Most High your defence.

¹⁰ You will never be met by misfortune, no plague will come near your tent,

¹¹ for he orders his angels to guard you, wherever you go.

¹² They will carry you with their hands, so you don't hurt your foot on a stone.

¹³ You will trample down lions and snakes, tread on young lions and cobras.

¹⁴ “Because of their love for me, I will deliver them, I will protect those who trust my name.

¹⁵ I will answer their cry and be with them in trouble, bringing them forth into safety and honour.

¹⁶ I will give them a life of many days, I will show them my salvation.”

⁹ You have made the Lord your refuge, you have made the Most High your defence.

¹² They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone.

¹³ You will tread on the lion and cobra. You will trample the young lion and the serpent underfoot.

¹⁴ “Because he has set his chasak ·to set one’s affection, to make bands· on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

¹⁵ He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.

¹⁶ I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my yishu'ah ·salvation·.”

⁹ For Yahweh is my refuge! Make the Most High your refuge also.

¹⁰ No evil will overtake you; no affliction will come near your home.

¹¹ For he will direct his angels to protect you, to guard you in all your ways.

¹² They will lift you up with their hand so that you will not hit your foot on a stone.

¹³ You will crush lions and adders under your feet; you will trample on young lions and serpents.

¹⁴ Because he is devoted to me, I will rescue him. I will protect him because he is loyal to me.

¹⁵ When he calls to me, I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble; I will give him victory and will honor him.

¹⁶ I will satisfy him with long life and show him my salvation.

¹⁰ Evil shall not come to thee; and a scourge shall not come nigh to thy tabernacle.

¹¹ For God hath commanded to his angels of thee; that they keep thee in all thy ways.

¹² They shall bear thee in the hands; lest peradventure thou hurt thy foot at a stone.

¹³ Thou shalt go upon a snake, and a cockatrice; and thou shalt defoul a lion, and a dragon.

¹⁴ For God saith, For he hoped in me, I shall deliver him; I shall defend him, for he knew my name.

¹⁵ He cried to me, and I shall hear him; I am with him in tribulation; I shall deliver him, and I shall glorify him.

¹⁶ I shall ful fill him with the length of days; and I shall show mine health to him.

⁹ For thou, Lord, art mine hope; thou hast set thine help (to be the) alder-Highest. (For thou hast made the Lord to be thy hope; yea, the Most High to be thy help.)

¹⁰ Evil shall not come to thee; and a scourge shall not (come) nigh to thy tabernacle.

¹¹ For God hath commanded to his angels of thee; that they keep thee in all thy ways. (For God hath commanded his angels to be all around thee; so that they keep thee safe on all thy ways.)

¹² They shall bear thee in the hands; lest peradventure thou hurt thy foot at a stone. (They shall lift thee up with their hands; lest thou hurt thy foot on a stone.)

¹³ Thou shalt go upon a snake, and a cockatrice; and thou shalt defoul a lion, and a dragon, (or and thou shalt trample upon a lion, and a dragon).

¹⁴ (For God saith), For he hoped in me, I shall deliver him, (or For God saith, Because he loved me, I shall save him); I shall defend him, for he knew my name.

¹⁵ He cried to me, and I shall hear him; I am with him in tribulation; I shall deliver him, and I shall glorify him. (When he crieth to me, I shall answer him; I shall be with him in all his troubles; I shall rescue him, and I shall honour him.)

¹⁶ I shall ful fill him with the length of days; and I shall show mine health to him. (I shall fulfill him with length of days, that is, with a long life; and I shall give my salvation, or my deliverance, to him, or and I shall save him.)

⁹ (For Thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge,) The Most High thou madest thy habitation.

¹⁰ Evil happeneth not unto thee, And a plague cometh not near thy tent,

¹¹ For His messengers He chargeth for thee, To keep thee in all thy ways,

¹² On the hands they bear thee up, Lest thou smite against a stone thy foot.

¹³ On lion and asp thou treadest, Thou trampest young lion and dragon.

¹⁴ Because in Me he hath delighted, I also deliver him — I set him on high, Because he hath known My name.

¹⁵ He doth call Me, and I answer him, I am with him in distress, I deliver him, and honour him.

¹⁶ With length of days I satisfy him, And I cause him to look on My salvation!
