¹ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

² I will say of Jehovah, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

³ For he will deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, And from the deadly pestilence.

⁴ He will cover thee with his pinions, And under his wings shalt thou take refuge: His truth is a shield and a buckler.

² It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to thy name, O thou Most High;

³ to proclaim thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth by night,

⁴ on a psaltery of ten strings, with a song on the harp.

¹ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

² I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

¹ Those who live under the protection of God Almighty, will be able to rest safely under his care.

² I will declare to Yahweh, “You protect me; you are like a fort MET in which I am safe. You are my God, the one in whom I trust.”

³ Yahweh will rescue you from all hidden traps and save you from deadly diseases.

⁴ He will shield/protect you like a bird shields/protects its chicks MET with/under her wings. You will be safe ◄in his care/because he takes care of you►. His faithfully doing what he has promised is like a shield MET that will protect you.

² I say of Jehovah, My refuge and my fortress; my God, I will confide in him.

³ Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the destructive pestilence.

⁴ He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou find refuge: his truth is a shield and buckler.

² It is good to give praise to the Lord: and to sing to thy name, O most High.

³ To shew forth thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth in the night:

⁴ Upon an instrument of ten strings, upon the psaltery: with a canticle upon the harp.

¹ Those who live under the protection of the Most High are kept safe by the Almighty.

² This is what I say about the Lord: “He is the one who defends and protects me. He is my God, and I trust in him.”

³ For he will save you from hidden traps and deadly diseases.

⁴ He will hide you under his feathers, and shelter you with his wings. His trustworthiness shields and protects you.

¹ Who so dwelleth in the secrete of the most High, shall abide in the shadowe of the Almightie.

² I will say vnto the Lord, O mine hope, and my fortresse: he is my God, in him will I trust.

³ Surely he will deliuer thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noysome pestilence.

⁴ Hee will couer thee vnder his winges, and thou shalt be sure vnder his feathers: his trueth shall be thy shielde and buckler.

¹ O thou that dwellest in the covert of the Most High, and abidest in the shadow of the Almighty;

¹ You whose home is the shelter of God Most High, whose abode is the shadow of God Almighty,

² can say to the Lord, “My refuge, my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

³ For he saves you from fowler's snare, from deadly plague,

⁴ He will cover you with his wings, and under his wings you will find refuge. His trustworthiness is a shield and protection.

³ For he delivered me from the snare of hunters; and from a sharp word.

⁴ With his shoulders he shall make shadow to thee; and thou shalt have hope under his feathers. His truth shall encompass thee with a shield;

¹ He that dwelleth in the help of the highest God; shall dwell in the protection of God of heaven. (He who dwelleth in the shelter of the Most High God, shall live under the protection of the God of heaven.)

² He shall say to the Lord, Thou art mine up-taker, and my refuge; my God, I shall hope in him. (He shall say to the Lord, Thou art my defender, and my refuge; my God, I trust in thee.)

³ For he delivered me from the snare of hunters; and from a sharp word. (For he shall save me from the hunter’s snare; and from a sharp word.)

⁴ With his shoulders he shall make shadow to thee; and thou shalt have hope under his feathers. His truth shall (en)compass thee with a shield; (With his feathers he shall make a shadow for thee; and thou shalt have hope under his wings. His faithfulness shall surround thee like a shield.)

¹ He who is dwelling In the secret place of the Most High, In the shade of the Mighty lodgeth habitually,

² He is saying of Jehovah, 'My refuge, and my bulwark, my God, I trust in Him,'

³ For He delivereth thee from the snare of a fowler, From a calamitous pestilence.

⁴ With His pinion He covereth thee over, And under His wings thou dost trust, A shield and buckler is His truth.
