⁶ In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; In the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

⁷ For we are consumed in thine anger, And in thy wrath are we troubled.

⁸ Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, Our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

⁹ For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: We bring our years to an end as a sigh.

¹⁰ The days of our years are threescore years and ten, Or even by reason of strength fourscore years; Yet is their pride but labor and sorrow; For it is soon gone, and we fly away.

¹¹ Who knoweth the power of thine anger, And thy wrath according to the fear that is due unto thee?

¹² So teach us to number our days, That we may get us a heart of wisdom.

¹³ Return, O Jehovah; how long? And let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

¹⁴ Oh satisfy us in the morning with thy lovingkindness, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

¹⁵ Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, And the years wherein we have seen evil.

¹⁶ Let thy work appear unto thy servants, And thy glory upon their children.

⁶ nor of the evil thing that walks in darkness; nor of calamity, and the evil spirit at noon-day.

⁷ A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

¹⁴ For he has hoped in me, and I will deliver him: I will protect him, because he has known my name.

¹⁵ He shall call upon me, and I will hearken to him: I am with him in affliction; and I will deliver him, and glorify him.

¹⁶ I will satisfy him with length of days, and shew him my salvation.

⁶ In the morning DOU the grass sprouts and grows well, but in the evening it dries up and ◄completely withers/dies►.

⁷ Similarly, because of the sins that we have committed, you become angry with us; you terrify us and then you destroy us.

⁸ It is as though you place our sins in front of you, you spread out even our secret sins where you can see them.

⁹ Because you are angry with us, you cause our lives to end; the years that we live pass as quickly as a sigh does.

¹⁰ People live for only 70 years; but if they are strong, some of them live for 80 years. But even during good years we have much pain and troubles; our lives soon end, and we die EUP.

¹¹ No one RHQ has fully experienced the powerful things you can do to them when you are angry with them, and people are not afraid that you will greatly punish them because of your being angry with them.

¹² So teach/help us to realize that we live for only a short time in order that we may use our time wisely.

¹³ Yahweh, how long will you be angry with us? Pity us who serve you.

¹⁴ Each morning show us that your faithfully loving us is enough for us in order that we may shout joyfully and be happy for the rest of our lives.

¹⁵ Cause us to now be as happy for as many years as you ◄afflicted us/caused us to be sad► and we experienced troubles.

¹⁶ Enable us to see the great things that you do and enable our descendants to also see your glorious power.

¹⁰ The measure of our life is seventy years; and if through strength it may be eighty years, its pride is only trouble and sorrow, for it comes to an end and we are quickly gone.

¹¹ Who has knowledge of the power of your wrath, or who takes note of the weight of your passion?

¹² So give us knowledge of the number of our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.

¹³ Come back, O Lord; how long? let your purpose for your servants be changed.

¹⁴ In the morning give us your mercy in full measure; so that we may have joy and delight all our days.

¹⁵ Make us glad in reward for the days of our sorrow, and for the years in which we have seen evil.

¹⁶ Make your work clear to your servants, and your glory to their children.

¹⁶ Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy majesty unto their sons.

⁶ Of the arrow that flieth in the day, of the business that walketh about in the dark: of invasion, or of the noonday devil.

⁸ But thou shalt consider with thy eyes: and shalt see the reward of the wicked.

¹⁶ I will fill him with length of days; and I will shew him my salvation.

⁶ it sprouts in the morning, fresh and new, but by the evening it is withered and dead.

⁷ We are burned up by your anger, terrified by your fury.

⁸ You have set out our sins before you—our secret sins are visible in the light of your presence.

⁹ Our lives fade away under your anger, coming to an end as quickly as a sigh.

¹⁰ We live for seventy years—eighty if we have the strength. But even in the prime of life all that we have is hardship and suffering. Soon our lives are over and we're gone.

¹¹ Who can know the power of your anger? Who understands your fury so you can be shown reverence?

¹² Teach us to value every one of our days so we can live wisely!

¹³ Lord, how long will it be before you come back to us and have pity on us your servants?

¹⁴ Show us every morning your trustworthy love so we may be happy, full of joy throughout our lives.

¹⁵ Make us glad for as many days as you made us sad, for all the years we suffered!

¹⁶ May we, your servants, see you at work for us again; may our children see your glory.

¹¹ Yet who attendeth to the power of thine anger? Who with due reverence regardeth thine indignation?

¹² Teach us so to number our days, That we may apply our hearts to wisdom!

¹³ Desist, O LORD! How long—? Have compassion upon thy servants!

¹⁴ Satisfy us speedily with thy mercy, That we may rejoice and be glad all our days!

¹⁵ Make us glad according to the time in which thou hast afflicted us; According to the years in which we have seen adversity!

¹⁶ Let thy deeds be known to thy servants, And thy glory to their children!

⁶ which blossoms and sprouts in the morning, but by evening is cut and withered.

⁷ For your anger consumes us, the heat of your wrath confounds us.

⁸ Our sins you have set before you, our secrets in the light of your face.

⁹ For through your wrath our days are declining, we bring our years to an end as a sigh.

¹⁰ The span of our life is seventy years, or, if we are strong, maybe eighty; yet is their breadth but empty toil, for swiftly they go, and we fly away.

¹¹ Who lays to heart the power of your anger? Or who stands in reverent awe of your wrath?

¹² O teach us to count our days so our minds may learn wisdom.

¹³ Return, O Lord; why so long? Relent on your servants.

¹⁴ Grant us your love to the full in the morning, that all our days we may shout for joy.

¹⁵ Make us glad for the days you have humbled us, for the evil years we have seen.

¹⁶ Let your servants see you in action, show your majesty to their children.

⁹ Our life passes away under your wrath; our years quickly pass like a sigh.

¹⁰ Our years are seventy, or even eighty if we are healthy; but even our best years are marked by trouble and sorrow. Yes, they pass quickly, and we fly away.

¹¹ Who knows the intensity of your anger, and your wrath that is equal to the fear of you?

¹² So teach us to consider our life so that we might live wisely.

¹³ Turn back, Yahweh! How long will it be? Have pity on your servants.

¹⁴ Satisfy us in the morning with your covenant faithfulness so that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

¹⁵ Make us glad in proportion to the days you afflicted us and to the years we have experienced trouble.

¹⁶ Let your servants see your work, and let our children see your majesty.

⁹ For all our days have failed; and we have failed in thine ire. Our years (we) shall bethink upon as a spider; (For all our days be brought to an end by thy anger. All our years we shall remember as but a whisper;)

¹⁰ the days of our years be those seventy years. Forsooth, if fourscore years/if eighty years be in mighty men; and (yet) the more time of them is travail and sorrow. For strong people, they be eighty years; yet most of that time is trouble, or labour, and sorrow. For life is short; and then we be gone.)

¹² Make thy right hand so known; and make men learned in heart by wisdom. (Make thy right hand, or thy power, known to us, or Teach us that our days be short; and so make people learned in their hearts with thy wisdom.)

¹³ Lord, be thou converted some-deal; and be thou able to be prayed of (by) thy servants. (Lord, how long until thou be turned somewhat; and then thou be able to be prayed to, or petitioned by, thy servants?)

¹⁴ We were ful filled early with thy mercy; we made full out joy, and we delighted in all our days. (Fulfill us or Fill us full each morning with thy love; so that we can rejoice, and be glad, in all our days.)

¹⁵ We were glad for the days in which thou madest us meek; for the years in which we saw evils. (Make us glad now in recompense for the days in which thou hast humbled us; yea, for the years in which we endured evils.)

¹⁶ Lord, behold thou into thy servants, and into thy works; and (ad)dress thou, (or direct thou), the sons of them. (Lord, let thy servants see thy mighty works; and our sons and daughters see thy glory.)

¹⁰ Days of our years, in them are seventy years, And if, by reason of might, eighty years, Yet is their enlargement labour and vanity, For it hath been cut off hastily, and we fly away.

¹¹ Who knoweth the power of Thine anger? And according to Thy fear — Thy wrath?

¹² To number our days aright let us know, And we bring the heart to wisdom.

¹³ Turn back, O Jehovah, till when? And repent concerning Thy servants.

¹⁴ Satisfy us at morn with Thy kindness, And we sing and rejoice all our days.

¹⁵ Cause us to rejoice according to the days Wherein Thou hast afflicted us, The years we have seen evil.

¹⁶ Let Thy work appear unto Thy servants, And Thine honour on their sons.
