³ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, The moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

⁴ What is man, that thou art mindful of him? And the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁵ For thou hast made him but little lower than God, And crownest him with glory and honor.

⁶ Thou makest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁷ All sheep and oxen, Yea, and the beasts of the field,

³ Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou perfected praise, because of thine enemies; that thou mightest put down the enemy and avenger.

⁴ For I will regard the heavens, the work of thy fingers; the moon and stars, which thou hast established.

⁵ What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

⁶ Thou madest him a little less than angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour;

⁷ and thou hast set him over the works of thy hands: thou hast put all things under his feet:

⁴ it is amazing to me that RHQ you think about people, that you are concerned about us humans!

⁵ You made the angels in heaven to be only a little more important than we are; you caused us to be like kings MET and you gave us splendor and honor DOU!

⁶ You put us in charge of everything that you made; you gave us authority over all things—

⁷ the sheep and the cattle, and even the wild animals,

³ For I will regard the heavens, the work of your fingers; the moon and stars, which you have established.

⁴ What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man, that you visit him?

⁵ You made him a little less than angels, you have crowned him with glory and honour;

⁶ and you have set him over the works of your hands: you have put all things under his feet:

⁴ For I will behold thy heavens, the works of thy fingers: the moon and the stars which thou hast founded.

⁵ What is man that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest hi?

⁶ Thou hast made him a little less than the angels, thou hast crowned him with glory and honour:

⁷ And hast set him over the works of thy hands.

³ When I contemplate the heavens that your hands made, the moon and stars that you placed there,

⁴ What are human beings that you should concern yourself with them? What are people that you should care for them?

⁵ You created them a little lower than God, crowning them with glory and majesty.

⁶ You put them in charge of all that you made, giving them authority over everything:

⁷ the sheep, the cattle, and the wild animals,

³ When I beholde thine heauens, euen the workes of thy fingers, the moone and the starres which thou hast ordeined,

⁴ What is man, say I, that thou art mindefull of him? and the sonne of man, that thou visitest him?

⁵ For thou hast made him a little lower then God, and crowned him with glory and worship.

⁶ Thou hast made him to haue dominion in the workes of thine hands: thou hast put all things vnder his feete:

⁷ All sheepe and oxen: yea, and the beastes of the fielde:

³ (8-4) When I behold Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast established;

⁴ (8-5) What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that Thou thinkest of him?

⁵ (8-6) Yet Thou hast made him but little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

⁶ (8-7) Thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of Thy hands; Thou hast put all things under His feet:

⁷ (8-8) Sheep and oxen, all of them, yea, and the beasts of the field;

⁷ (8:8) Flocks and herds altogether, and also the beasts of the field;

⁴ what are mortals, that you think of them, humans, that you visit them?

⁵ Yet you made them little less than divine, crowned them with glory and majesty,

⁶ made them lord of the works of your hands, put all things under their feet —

⁷ sheep and oxen, all of them; and the wild beasts also:

³ When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set there,

⁴ what are mortals, that you think of them, humans, that you visit them?

⁵ Yet you made them little less than divine, crowned them with glory and majesty,

⁴ What is a man, that is mankind, that thou art mindful of him; either the son of a virgin or the son of man, for thou visitest him? (What is a man, that is humankind, that thou art mindful of him; or who is the son of a man, that thou should care about him?)

⁵ Thou hast made him a little less than (the) angels; (but) thou hast crowned him with glory and honour,

⁶ and thou hast ordained him above the works of thine hands. Thou hast made subject all things under his feet; (and thou hast ordained him over all thy creatures. Yea, thou hast put all things under his feet;)

⁷ all sheep and oxen, furthermore and the beasts of the field; (all the sheep and the oxen, and furthermore, the beasts of the fields, that is, the wild beasts;)

³ For I see Thy heavens, a work of Thy fingers, Moon and stars that Thou didst establish.

⁴ What is man that Thou rememberest him? The son of man that Thou inspectest him?

⁵ And causest him to lack a little of Godhead, And with honour and majesty compassest him.

⁶ Thou dost cause him to rule Over the works of Thy hands, All Thou hast placed under his feet.
