⁷ A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be feared above all them that are round about him?

⁸ O Jehovah God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like unto thee, O Jehovah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.

⁹ Thou rulest the pride of the sea: When the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

¹¹ The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: The world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

¹² The north and the south, thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon rejoice in thy name.

¹³ Thou hast a mighty arm; Strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

⁷ For we have perished in thine anger, and in thy wrath we have been troubled.

⁸ Thou hast set our transgressions before thee: our age is in the light of thy countenance.

⁹ For all our days are gone, and we have passed away in thy wrath: our years have spun out their tale as a spider.

¹⁰ As for the days of our years, in them are seventy years; and if men should be in strength, eighty years: and the greater part of them would be labour and trouble; for weakness overtakes us, and we shall be chastened.

¹¹ Who knows the power of thy wrath?

¹² and who knows how to number his days because of the fear of thy wrath? So manifest thy right hand, and those that are instructed in wisdom in the heart.

¹³ Return, O Lord, how long? and be intreated concerning thy servants.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

⁸ O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

⁷ When your holy angels gather together, they declare that you must be revered; they say that you are more awesome than all the angels that surround your throne!

⁸ O Yahweh, God Almighty, there is no one RHQ who is powerful like you are; your faithfully doing all that you promise is like a cloak that MET always surrounds you.

⁹ You rule over the powerful seas; when their waves rise up, you calm them.

¹⁰ You are the one who crushed and killed the great sea monster named Rahab. You defeated and scattered your enemies with your great power MTY.

¹¹ The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; and everything on the earth is yours, because you created it all.

¹² You created everything from the north to the south. Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon joyfully praise you MTY.

¹³ ◄You/Your arms► are very powerful; ◄you/your hands► are extremely strong.

⁸ O Lord God of armies, who is strong like you, O Jah? and your unchanging faith is round about you.

⁹ You have rule over the sea in storm; when its waves are troubled, you make them calm.

¹⁰ Rahab was crushed by you like one wounded to death; with your strong arm you put to flight all your haters.

¹¹ Yours are the heavens, and the earth is yours; you have made the world, and everything which is in it.

¹² You have made the north and the south; Tabor and Hermon are sounding with joy at your name.

¹³ Yours is an arm of power; strong is your hand and high your right hand.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him.

⁸ Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.

⁹ Thou rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

⁸ Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance.

⁹ For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered as a spider:

¹⁰ The days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected.

¹¹ Who knoweth the power of thy anger, and for thy fear

¹² Can number thy wrath? So make thy right hand known: and men learned in heart, in wisdom.

¹³ Return, O Lord, how long? and be entreated in favour of thy servants.

⁷ The heavenly council are in awe of God; all who surround him are overwhelmed by him.

⁸ Lord God Almighty, who is as powerful as you? In all this, Lord, you are completely trustworthy.

⁹ You rule the restless seas; you calm their stormy waves.

¹⁰ You crushed Rahab the sea-monster to death; by your power you scattered your enemies.

¹¹ The heavens belong to you, and the earth too; you made the world and everything in it.

¹² You created north and south; Mount Tabor and Mount Hermon celebrate you.

¹³ Your arm is powerful. Your hand is strong. Your right hand is held up high in command.

⁷ God is very terrible in the assemblie of the Saints, and to be reuerenced aboue all, that are about him.

⁸ O Lord God of hostes, who is like vnto thee, which art a mightie Lord, and thy trueth is about thee?

⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waues thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast beaten downe Rahab as a man slaine: thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy mightie arme.

¹¹ The heauens are thine, the earth also is thine: thou hast layde the foundation of the world, and all that therein is.

¹² Thou hast created the North and the South: Tabor and Hermon shall reioyce in thy Name.

¹³ Thou hast a mightie arme: strong is thine hand, and high is thy right hand.

⁷ (89-8) A God dreaded in the great council of the holy ones, and feared of all them that are about Him?

⁸ (89-9) O LORD God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like unto Thee, O LORD? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.

⁹ (89-10) Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.

¹⁰ (89-11) Thou didst crush Rahab, as one that is slain; Thou didst scatter Thine enemies with the arm of Thy strength.

¹¹ (89-12) Thine are the heavens, Thine also the earth; the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.

¹² (89-13) The north and the south, Thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Thy name.

¹³ (89-14) Thine is an arm with might; strong is Thy hand, and exalted is Thy right hand.

⁹ (89:10) Thou rulest over the pride of the sea: when its waves are lifted up, thou assuagest them.

¹⁰ (89:11) Thou didst crush Rahab as one that is slain: with thy strong arm didst thou scatter thy enemies.

¹¹ (89:12) Thine are the heavens, also thine is the earth: as for the world and what filleth it, thou hast founded them.

¹² (89:13) The north and the south—these hast thou created: Tabor and Chermon shall rejoice in thy name.

¹³ (89:14) Thine is the powerful arm, with might: strong is thy hand, and exalted is thy right hand.

⁹ Thou art Lord of the power of the sea; forsooth thou assuagest the stirring of the waves thereof.

¹⁰ Thou madest low the proud, as wounded; in the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thine enemies.

¹¹ Heavens be thine, and the earth is thine; thou hast founded the world, and the fullness thereof;

¹² thou madest of nought the north and the sea. Tabor and Hermon shall make full out joy in thy name;

¹³ thine arm with power. Thine hand be made steadfast, and thy right hand be enhanced;

⁷ God, that is glorified in the council of saints; is great, and dreadful over all that be in his compass. (God, thou art feared or thou art revered, in the council of the saints; thou art great, and glorified above all who surround thee.)

⁸ Lord God of virtues, who is like thee? Lord, thou art mighty, and thy truth is in thy compass. (Lord God of hosts, who is like thee? Lord, thou art mighty, and thy faithfulness surroundeth thee.)

⁹ Thou art Lord of the power of the sea; forsooth thou assuagest the stirring of the waves thereof.

¹⁰ Thou madest low the proud, as (those who be) wounded (and slain); in the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thine enemies. (Thou hast crushed Rahab to death; thou hast scattered thy enemies with thy strong arm, or with thy power.)

¹¹ (The) Heavens be thine, and the earth is thine; thou hast founded the world, and the fullness thereof;

¹² thou madest of nought the north and the sea. Tabor and Hermon shall make full out joy in thy name; (thou madest the north and the south out of nothing. Tabor and Hermon shall make full out joy, or shall rejoice, in thy name.)

¹³ thine arm with power. Thine hand be made steadfast, and thy right hand be enhanced; (Thy arm hath power; let thy hand be made firm, and thy right hand be lifted high.)

⁷ God is very terrible, In the secret counsel of His holy ones, And fearful over all surrounding Him.

⁸ O Jehovah, God of Hosts, Who is like Thee — a strong Jah? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.

⁹ Thou art ruler over the pride of the sea, In the lifting up of its billows Thou dost restrain them.

¹⁰ Thou hast bruised Rahab, as one wounded. With the arm of Thy strength Thou hast scattered Thine enemies.

¹¹ Thine are the heavens — the earth also is Thine, The habitable world and its fulness, Thou hast founded them.

¹² North and south Thou hast appointed them, Tabor and Hermon in Thy name do sing.

¹³ Thou hast an arm with might, Strong is Thy hand — high Thy right hand.
