⁶ For who in the skies can be compared unto Jehovah? Who among the sons of the mighty is like unto Jehovah,

⁷ A God very terrible in the council of the holy ones, And to be feared above all them that are round about him?

⁸ O Jehovah God of hosts, Who is a mighty one, like unto thee, O Jehovah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.

⁹ Thou rulest the pride of the sea: When the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; Thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

⁶ In the morning let it flower, and pass away: in the evening let it droop, let it be withered and dried up.

⁷ For we have perished in thine anger, and in thy wrath we have been troubled.

⁸ Thou hast set our transgressions before thee: our age is in the light of thy countenance.

⁹ For all our days are gone, and we have passed away in thy wrath: our years have spun out their tale as a spider.

¹⁰ As for the days of our years, in them are seventy years; and if men should be in strength, eighty years: and the greater part of them would be labour and trouble; for weakness overtakes us, and we shall be chastened.

⁶ For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

⁸ O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

⁶ There is no one RHQ in heaven who can be compared with you, Yahweh. There are no angels RHQ in heaven who are equal to you.

⁷ When your holy angels gather together, they declare that you must be revered; they say that you are more awesome than all the angels that surround your throne!

⁸ O Yahweh, God Almighty, there is no one RHQ who is powerful like you are; your faithfully doing all that you promise is like a cloak that MET always surrounds you.

⁹ You rule over the powerful seas; when their waves rise up, you calm them.

¹⁰ You are the one who crushed and killed the great sea monster named Rahab. You defeated and scattered your enemies with your great power MTY.

⁷ God is greatly to be feared among the saints, and to be honoured over all those who are about him.

⁸ O Lord God of armies, who is strong like you, O Jah? and your unchanging faith is round about you.

⁹ You have rule over the sea in storm; when its waves are troubled, you make them calm.

¹⁰ Rahab was crushed by you like one wounded to death; with your strong arm you put to flight all your haters.

⁶ For who in the heaven can be compared to Jehovah? who among the sons of the mighty shall be likened to Jehovah?

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the council of the saints, and terrible for all that are round about him.

⁸ Jehovah, God of hosts, who is like unto thee, the strong Jah? And thy faithfulness is round about thee.

⁹ Thou rulest the pride of the sea: when its waves arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

⁶ In the morning man shall grow up like grass; in the morning he shall flourish and pass away: in the evening he shall fall, grow dry, and wither.

⁷ For in thy wrath we have fainted away: and are troubled in thy indignation.

⁸ Thou hast set our iniquities before thy eyes: our life in the light of thy countenance.

⁹ For all our days are spent; and in thy wrath we have fainted away. Our years shall be considered as a spider:

¹⁰ The days of our years in them are threescore and ten years. But if in the strong they be fourscore years: and what is more of them is labour and sorrow. For mildness is come upon us: and we shall be corrected.

⁶ For who in heaven can compare to the Lord? Who is like the Lord even among the angels?

⁷ The heavenly council are in awe of God; all who surround him are overwhelmed by him.

⁸ Lord God Almighty, who is as powerful as you? In all this, Lord, you are completely trustworthy.

⁹ You rule the restless seas; you calm their stormy waves.

¹⁰ You crushed Rahab the sea-monster to death; by your power you scattered your enemies.

⁶ For who is equall to the Lord in the heauen? and who is like the Lord among the sonnes of the gods?

⁷ God is very terrible in the assemblie of the Saints, and to be reuerenced aboue all, that are about him.

⁸ O Lord God of hostes, who is like vnto thee, which art a mightie Lord, and thy trueth is about thee?

⁹ Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waues thereof arise, thou stillest them.

¹⁰ Thou hast beaten downe Rahab as a man slaine: thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy mightie arme.

⁶ (89-7) For who in the skies can be compared unto the LORD, who among the sons of might can be likened unto the LORD,

⁷ (89-8) A God dreaded in the great council of the holy ones, and feared of all them that are about Him?

⁸ (89-9) O LORD God of hosts, who is a mighty one, like unto Thee, O LORD? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.

⁹ (89-10) Thou rulest the proud swelling of the sea; when the waves thereof arise, Thou stillest them.

¹⁰ (89-11) Thou didst crush Rahab, as one that is slain; Thou didst scatter Thine enemies with the arm of Thy strength.

⁶ For who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

⁷ God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

⁷ (89:8) God is greatly terrific in the secret council of the holy ones and fear-inspiring over all that are about him.

⁸ (89:9) O Lord God of hosts, who is powerful, like thee, Eternal! and thy faithfulness is round about thee.

⁹ (89:10) Thou rulest over the pride of the sea: when its waves are lifted up, thou assuagest them.

¹⁰ (89:11) Thou didst crush Rahab as one that is slain: with thy strong arm didst thou scatter thy enemies.

⁸ O Lord God of hosts, who is mighty as you? Your strength and faithfulness, Lord, surround you.

⁹ You are the Lord of the raging sea: when its waves surge, it is you who still them.

¹⁰ It was you who did pierce and crush Rahab in pieces, and scatter your foes by your mighty arm.

⁶ For who in the skies may compare with the Lord? Who is like the Lord among the gods?

⁷ A God to be feared in the holy assembly, awful and great above all who are round him.

⁸ O Lord God of hosts, who is mighty as you? Your strength and faithfulness, Lord, surround you.

⁹ You are the Lord of the raging sea: when its waves surge, it is you who still them.

¹⁰ It was you who did pierce and crush Rahab in pieces, and scatter your foes by your mighty arm.

⁶ For who in the skies can be compared to Adonai ? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Adonai ,

⁷ a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁸ Adonai , Elohim Tzva'ot Yahweh, God Commander of heaven’s armies, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.

⁹ You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.

¹⁰ You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

⁶ For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the gods is like Yahweh?

⁷ He is a God who is greatly honored in the council of the holy ones and is awesome among all who surround him.

⁸ Yahweh God of hosts, who is strong like you, Yahweh? Your truthfulness surrounds you.

⁹ You rule the raging sea; when the waves surge, you calm them.

¹⁰ You crushed Rahab as one who is killed. You scattered your enemies with your strong arm.

⁶ For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like Yahweh,

⁷ a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁸ Yahweh, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? Yah, your faithfulness is around you.

⁶ For who in the clouds shall be made even to the Lord; shall be like God among the sons of God?

⁷ God, that is glorified in the council of saints; is great, and dreadful over all that be in his compass.

⁸ Lord God of virtues, who is like thee? Lord, thou art mighty, and thy truth is in thy compass.

⁹ Thou art Lord of the power of the sea; forsooth thou assuagest the stirring of the waves thereof.

¹⁰ Thou madest low the proud, as wounded; in the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thine enemies.

⁶ For who in the clouds shall be made even to the Lord; shall be like God among the sons of God? (For who in heaven shall be made equal to the Lord? who shall be like God among the heavenly beings? or who shall be like God in the council of heaven?)

⁷ God, that is glorified in the council of saints; is great, and dreadful over all that be in his compass. (God, thou art feared or thou art revered, in the council of the saints; thou art great, and glorified above all who surround thee.)

⁸ Lord God of virtues, who is like thee? Lord, thou art mighty, and thy truth is in thy compass. (Lord God of hosts, who is like thee? Lord, thou art mighty, and thy faithfulness surroundeth thee.)

⁹ Thou art Lord of the power of the sea; forsooth thou assuagest the stirring of the waves thereof.

¹⁰ Thou madest low the proud, as (those who be) wounded (and slain); in the arm of thy strength thou hast scattered thine enemies. (Thou hast crushed Rahab to death; thou hast scattered thy enemies with thy strong arm, or with thy power.)

⁶ For who in the sky, Compareth himself to Jehovah? Is like to Jehovah among sons of the mighty?

⁷ God is very terrible, In the secret counsel of His holy ones, And fearful over all surrounding Him.

⁸ O Jehovah, God of Hosts, Who is like Thee — a strong Jah? And Thy faithfulness is round about Thee.

⁹ Thou art ruler over the pride of the sea, In the lifting up of its billows Thou dost restrain them.

¹⁰ Thou hast bruised Rahab, as one wounded. With the arm of Thy strength Thou hast scattered Thine enemies.
