¹⁶ In thy name do they rejoice all the day; And in thy righteousness are they exalted.

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength; And in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.

¹⁸ For our shield belongeth unto Jehovah; And our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹ Then thou spakest in vision to thy saints, And saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

²⁰ I have found David my servant; With my holy oil have I anointed him:

²¹ With whom my hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.

²² The enemy shall not exact from him, Nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

¹⁶ And look upon thy servants, and upon thy works; and guide their children.

¹⁷ And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and do thou direct for us the works of our hands.

¹⁶ In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

¹⁶ Every day, throughout the day, they rejoice in what you MTY have done, and they praise you for being very good to them.

¹⁷ You give us your glorious strength; because you act in our favor, we defeat MET our enemies.

¹⁸ Yahweh, you gave us the one who protects us MET; you, the holy God whom we Israelis worship, chose a king for us.

¹⁹ Long ago you spoke in a vision to one of your servants/prophets, saying, “I have helped a famous soldier; I chose him from among all the people to be a king.

²⁰ That man is David, the one who will serve me faithfully, and I anointed him with sacred olive oil to make him king.

²¹ I MTY will always strengthen him; with my power MTY I will make him strong.

²² His enemies will never find ways to defeat him, and wicked people will never defeat him.

¹⁶ And look upon your servants, and upon your works; and guide their children.

¹⁹ Then your voice came to your holy one in a vision, saying, I have put the crown on a strong one, lifting up one taken from among the people.

²⁰ I have made discovery of David my servant; I have put my holy oil on his head.

²¹ My hand will be his support; my arm will give him strength.

²² The deceit of those who are against him will not overcome him; he will not be troubled by the sons of evil.

¹⁶ In thy name are they joyful all the day, and in thy righteousness are they exalted.

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength; and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

¹⁸ For Jehovah is our shield, and the Holy One of Israel, our king.

¹⁹ Then thou spakest in vision of thy Holy One, and saidst, I have laid help upon a mighty one; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

²⁰ I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

²¹ With whom my hand shall be established; and mine arm shall strengthen him.

²² No enemy shall exact upon him, nor the son of wickedness afflict him;

¹⁶ Look upon thy servants and upon their works: and direct their children.

¹⁷ And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: and direct thou the works of our hands over us; yea, the work of our hands do thou direct.

¹⁶ They celebrate the person you are all day long, so glad that you do what's right.

¹⁷ They rely on you, their glory and strength; by your grace you lift us up.

¹⁸ Yes, the Lord is the one who shields us, and our king belongs to the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹ Once you spoke in a vision to your faithful servant and said, “I have given strength to the warrior I have chosen from the people to become king.

²⁰ I have selected David my servant, and I have anointed him with the oil of my holiness.

²¹ I have placed my hand on him to steady him; and I have made him strong by my powerful arm.

²² His enemies will not deceive him; the wicked will not bring him down.

¹⁶ They shall reioyce continually in thy Name, and in thy righteousnes shall they exalt them selues.

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength, and by thy fauour our hornes shall be exalted.

¹⁸ For our shield apperteineth to the Lord, and our King to the holy one of Israel.

¹⁹ Thou spakest then in a vision vnto thine Holy one, and saydest, I haue layde helpe vpon one that is mightie: I haue exalted one chosen out of the people.

²⁰ I haue found Dauid my seruant: with mine holy oyle haue I anoynted him.

²¹ Therefore mine hande shall be established with him, and mine arme shall strengthen him.

²² The enemie shall not oppresse him, neither shall the wicked hurt him.

²¹ (89-22) With whom My hand shall be established; Mine arm also shall strengthen him.

²² (89-23) The enemy shall not exact from him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

¹⁷ (89:18) For thou art the glory of their strength; and through thy favor will our horn be exalted.

¹⁸ (89:19) For of the Lord is our shield; and of the Holy One of Israel is our king.

¹⁹ (89:20) Then spokest thou in a vision to thy pious servant, and saidst, “I have bestowed help to one that is mighty; I have exalted a youth out of the people;

²⁰ (89:21) I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him;

²¹ (89:22) With whom my hand shall be firmly established; also my arm shall strengthen him;

²² (89:23) The enemy shall not exact from him like a lender: and the son of injustice shall not afflict him:

¹⁶ And look upon thy servants, and upon thy works; And guide their children.

¹⁷ And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us: And do thou direct for us the works of our hands.

¹⁶ In thy name they daily rejoice, And in thy righteousness they glory!

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of their strength; Yea, through thy favor our horn exalteth itself!

¹⁸ For from Jehovah is our shield, And from the Holy One of Israel is our king.

¹⁹ Once thou spakest in a vision to thy holy one, And saidst,—”I have laid help on one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people;

²¹ With him shall my hand be established, And my arm shall strengthen him.

²² The enemy shall not have power over him, Nor shall the unrighteous man oppress him.

¹⁶ They exult in your name all the day, and your righteousness they extol.

¹⁷ For you are our strength and our pride. Your favour will lift us to honour.

¹⁸ For the holy Lord of Israel keeps our defender and king.

¹⁹ In a vision of old you did speak in this way to the one whom you loved: “A crown I have set on the hero I chose to be over the people

²⁰ “I found my servant David, and anointed with holy oil.

²¹ My hand will be with him forever, my arm will give him strength.

²² “No enemy will dare to assail him, nor the wicked to oppress him;

¹⁷ You are their majestic strength, and by your favor we are victorious.

¹⁸ For our taking up is of the Lord; and of the Holy of Israel our king.

¹⁹ Then thou spakest in revelation to thy saints, and saidest, I have set or put help in the mighty; and I have enhanced the chosen man of my people.

²⁰ I found David, my servant; I anointed him with mine holy oil.

²¹ For mine hand shall help him; and mine arm shall confirm him.

²² The enemy shall nothing profit in him; and the son of wickedness shall not lay to or put to, for to annoy him.

¹⁶ and in thy name they shall make full out joy all day; and they shall be enhanced in thy rightfulness. (And in thy name, they shall make full out joy, or shall rejoice, all day long; and they shall be exalted, or shall be lifted up, by thy righteousness.)

¹⁷ For thou art the glory of the virtue of them; and in thy good pleasance our horn shall be enhanced. (For thou art the glory of their strength or For thou art the strength in which they have glory; and in thy good favour our horn shall be exalted.)

¹⁸ For our taking up is of the Lord; and of the holy of Israel our king. (For the Lord is our defender; yea, the Holy One of Israel is our King.)

¹⁹ Then thou spakest in revelation to thy saints, and saidest, I have set help in the mighty (man); and I have enhanced the chosen man of my people. (Then thou spokest in revelation to thy saints, and saidest, I have given help to the mighty man; yea, I have exalted, or lifted up, the chosen man of my people.)

²⁰ I found David, my servant; I anointed him with mine holy oil. (I found my servant David; and I anointed him with my holy oil.)

²¹ For mine hand shall help him; and mine arm shall confirm him. (For my hand shall help him; and my arm, or my power, shall strengthen him.)

²² The enemy shall nothing profit in him (or The enemy shall not gain any advantage over him); and the son of wickedness shall not lay to or shall not put to, for to harm him.

¹⁶ In Thy name they rejoice all the day, And in Thy righteousness they are exalted,

¹⁷ For the beauty of their strength art Thou, And in Thy good will is our horn exalted,

¹⁸ For of Jehovah is our shield, And of the Holy One of Israel our king.

¹⁹ Then Thou hast spoken in vision, To Thy saint, yea, Thou sayest, I have placed help upon a mighty one, Exalted a chosen one out of the people,

²⁰ I have found David My servant, With My holy oil I have anointed him.

²¹ With whom My hand is established, My arm also doth strengthen him.

²² An enemy exacteth not upon him, And a son of perverseness afflicteth him not.
