⁹ Mine eye wasteth away by reason of affliction: I have called daily upon thee, O Jehovah; I have spread forth my hands unto thee.

¹⁰ Wilt thou show wonders to the dead? Shall they that are deceased arise and praise thee? Selah

¹¹ Shall thy lovingkindness be declared in the grave? Or thy faithfulness in Destruction?

¹² Shall thy wonders be known in the dark? And thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

⁹ O Lord God of hosts, who is like to thee? thou art mighty, O Lord, and thy truth is round about thee.

¹⁰ Thou rulest the power of the sea; and thou calmest the tumult of its waves.

¹¹ Thou hast brought down the proud as one that is slain; and with the arm of thy power thou hast scattered thine enemies.

¹² The heavens are thine, and the earth is thine: thou hast founded the world, and the fulness of it.

⁹ My eyes cannot see well because I cry very much. Yahweh, every day I call out to you to help me; I lift up my hands to you while I pray.

¹⁰ You certainly do not RHQ perform miracles for dead people! Their spirits do not RHQ arise to praise you!

¹¹ Corpses in the grave certainly do not tell about your faithfully loving us RHQ, and in the place where people are finally destroyed, no one tells about what you faithfully do for us RHQ.

¹² No one in the deep dark pit ever sees the miracles that you perform RHQ, and no one in the place where people have been completely forgotten tells about your being good to us.

¹² May there be knowledge of your wonders in the dark? or of your righteousness where memory is dead?

⁹ I've cried my eyes out begging you every day for your help, Lord, holding out my hands to you.

¹⁰ Do you do miracles among the dead? Do the dead stand up to praise you? Selah.

¹¹ Your faithful love—is it mentioned in the grave? Your trustworthiness—is it discussed in the place of destruction?

¹² Are the wonderful things you do known in the darkness? Is your goodness known in the land of forgetfulness?

⁹ Mine eye is sorowfull through mine affliction: Lord, I call dayly vpon thee: I stretch out mine hands vnto thee.

¹¹ Shall thy louing kindenes be declared in the graue? or thy faithfulnes in destruction?

¹⁰ Whether thou shalt do marvels to dead men; either leeches shall raise them up, and they shall acknowledge to thee?

¹¹ Whether any man in sepulchre shall tell thy mercy; and thy truth in perdition?

¹² Whether thy marvels shall be known in darknesses; and thy right-fulness or rightwiseness in the land of forgetting?

⁹ mine eyes were sick for poverty or mine eyes (were) (en)feebled for mis-ease. Lord, I cried to thee; all day I spreaded abroad mine hands to thee. (my eyes have been weakened from suffering. Lord, I cried to thee; and every day I spread abroad my hands to thee.)

¹⁰ Whether thou shalt do marvels to dead men; either leeches shall raise (them up), and they shall acknowledge to thee? (Shalt thou do marvellous deeds for the dead? or shall physicians raise them up, and then they shall praise thee?)

¹¹ Whether any man in sepulchre shall tell thy mercy; and thy truth in perdition? (Shall any man in the tomb, or in the grave, tell of thy love? or in perdition, tell of thy faithfulness?)

¹² Whether thy marvels shall be known in darknesses; and thy rightfulness in the land of forgetting? (Shall thy marvellous deeds be known in the dark places? or thy righteousness in the land of the forgotten? or in the land of oblivion?)

⁹ Mine eye hath grieved because of affliction, I called Thee, O Jehovah, all the day, I have spread out unto Thee my hands.

¹⁰ To the dead dost Thou do wonders? Do Rephaim rise? do they thank Thee? Selah.
