⁹ Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of thine anointed.

¹⁰ For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

¹¹ For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

¹² O Jehovah of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

⁹ I will hear what the Lord God will say concerning me: for he shall speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those that turn their heart toward him.

¹⁰ Moreover his salvation is near them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.

¹¹ Mercy and truth are met together: righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

¹² Truth has sprung out of the earth; and righteousness has looked down from heaven.

¹⁰ For me, spending one day in your temple is better than spending a thousand days somewhere else; standing at the entrance to your temple, ready to go inside, is better than living in the tents/homes where wicked people live.

¹¹ Yahweh our God is like the sun that shines on us and like a shield that protects us MET; he is kind to us and honors us. Yahweh does not refuse to give any good thing/blessing to those who do what is right.

¹² Yahweh, commander of the armies of heaven, ◄happy are/you are pleased with► those who trust in you!

⁹ Please God, look at our defender, look at the face of your anointed one.

¹⁰ One day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else. I'd rather stand as a doorkeeper in the house of my God than live comfortably in the homes of the wicked.

¹¹ For the Lord God is our sun and shield, and he gives us grace and honor. The Lord doesn't hold back anything good from those who do right.

¹² Lord Almighty, how happy are those who trust in you.

⁹ Beholde, O God, our shielde, and looke vpon the face of thine Anointed.

(For one day in thy courtyards, is better than a thousand days elsewhere. I would rather choose to be a doorkeeper in the House of my God; than to live in the tents, or in the homes, of the sinners.)

¹¹ For God loveth mercy and truth; the Lord shall give grace and glory. He shall not deprive them from goods, that go in innocence; (For God loveth mercy and faithfulness; and the Lord giveth favour and glory. He will not hold back any good thing, from those who go in innocence or from those who do what is right.)

¹² Lord of virtues, blessed is the man, that hopeth in thee. (Lord of hosts, happy is the person, who trusteth in thee.)

⁹ Our shield, see, O God, And behold the face of Thine anointed,

¹⁰ For good is a day in Thy courts, O Teacher! I have chosen rather to be at the threshold, In the house of my God, Than to dwell in tents of wickedness.

¹¹ For a sun and a shield is Jehovah God, Grace and honour doth Jehovah give. He withholdeth not good To those walking in uprightness.

¹² Jehovah of Hosts! O the happiness of a man trusting in Thee.
