Psalms 84:3-11 in American Standard Version (1901)

3 Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, My King, and my God.
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: They will be still praising thee. Selah
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; In whose heart are the highways to Zion.
6 Passing through the valley of Weeping they make it a place of springs; Yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength; Every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.
8 O Jehovah God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah
9 Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of thine anointed.
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psalms 84:3-11 in Brenton Septuagint Translation

3 Thou hast forgiven thy people their transgressions; thou hast covered all their sins. Pause.
4 Thou hast caused all thy wrath to cease: thou hast turned from thy fierce anger.
5 Turn us, O God of our salvation, and turn thine anger away from us.
6 Wouldest thou be angry with us for ever? or wilt thou continue thy wrath from generation to generation?
7 O God, thou wilt turn and quicken us; and thy people shall rejoice in thee.
8 Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation.
9 I will hear what the Lord God will say concerning me: for he shall speak peace to his people, and to his saints, and to those that turn their heart toward him.
10 Moreover his salvation is near them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
11 Mercy and truth are met together: righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them .
6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.
7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.
8 O LORD God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a door-keeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Psalms 84 in Noah Webster Bible

Psalms 84:3-11 in World Messianic Bible

3 Yes, the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, near your altars, LORD of Hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah.
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you, who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.
6 Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.
7 They go from strength to strength. Every one of them appears before God in Zion.
8 LORD, God of Hosts, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. Selah.
9 Behold, God our shield, look at the face of your anointed.
10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.

Psalms 84:3-11 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling

3 For why a sparrow findeth an house to itself; and a turtle findeth a nest to itself, where it shall keep his birds. Lord of virtues, thine altars; my king, and my God.
4 Lord, blessed be they that dwell in thine house; they shall praise thee into the worlds of worlds.
5 Blessed is the man, whose help is of thee; he hath ordained thy goings in his heart,
6 in the valley of tears, in the place which he hath set. For the giver of the law shall give blessing,
7 they shall go from virtue into virtue to strength; God of gods shall be seen in Zion.
8 Lord God of virtues, hear thou my prayer; God of Jacob, perceive thou with ears.
9 God, our defender, behold thou; and behold into the face of thy christ or thine anointed.
10 For why one day in thine halls is better; than a thousand elsewhere. I choose to be abject, either an outcast, in the house of my God; more than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.
11 For God loveth mercy and truth; the Lord shall give grace and glory. He shall not deprive them from goods, that go in innocence;

Psalms 84:3-11 in Wycliffe's Bible with Modern Spelling (Enhanced)

9 God, our defender, behold thou; and behold into the face of thy christ. (God, our defender, look thou; and look upon the face of thy anointed king.)
10 For why one day in thine halls is better; than a thousand (elsewhere). I choose to be abject, either an outcast, in the house of my God; more than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners. (For one day in thy courtyards, is better than a thousand days elsewhere. I would rather choose to be a doorkeeper in the House of my God; than to live in the tents, or in the homes, of the sinners.)
