¹⁴ As the fire that burneth the forest, And as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with confusion, That they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.

¹⁷ Let them be put to shame and dismayed for ever; Yea, let them be confounded and perish;

¹⁴ As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

¹⁵ So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

¹⁷ Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

¹⁵ expel them by sending storms; cause them to be terrified by your big storms/hurricanes!

¹⁶ Cause them SYN to be very ashamed in order that they will admit that you are very powerful.

¹⁷ Cause them to be forever disgraced because of being defeated, and cause them to die while they are still disgraced.

¹⁴ As the fire that burns the forest, as the flame that sets the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ so pursue them with your tempest, and terrify them with your storm.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with confusion, that they may seek your name, Yahweh.

¹⁷ Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

¹⁴ As fire burning a wood, and as a flame causing fire on the mountains,

¹⁵ So go after them with your strong wind, and let them be full of fear because of your storm.

¹⁶ Let their faces be full of shame; so that they may give honour to your name, O Lord.

¹⁷ Let them be overcome and troubled for ever; let them be put to shame and come to destruction;

¹⁴ As fire burneth a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, and terrify them with thy whirlwind.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Jehovah.

¹⁷ Let them be put to shame and be dismayed for ever, and let them be confounded and perish:

¹⁴ Just like fire that burns the forest, a flame that sets fire to the mountains,

¹⁵ in the same way chase them down with your storm, terrify them with your whirlwind.

¹⁶ Shame them in defeat so that they come to you, Lord!

¹⁷ Make them ashamed, terrify them forever so that they die in disgrace.

¹⁴ As the fire burneth the forest, and as the flame setteth the mountaines on fire:

¹⁵ So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraide with thy storme.

¹⁷ Let them be confounded and troubled for euer: yea, let them be put to shame and perish,

¹⁴ (83-15) As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze;

¹⁵ (83-16) So pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm.

¹⁶ (83-17) Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek Thy name, O LORD.

¹⁷ (83-18) Let them be ashamed and affrighted for ever; yea, let them be abashed and perish;

¹⁴ As the fire burneth a wood, And as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

¹⁵ So persecute them with thy tempest, And make them afraid with thy storm.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame; That they may seek thy name, O Lord.

¹⁷ Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; Yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

¹⁴ (83:15) As the fire burneth up a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire:

¹⁵ (83:16) So pursue them with thy storm, and with thy whirlwind do thou terrify them.

¹⁶ (83:17) Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Lord!

¹⁷ (83:18) Let them be made ashamed and terrified for ever and aye; yea, let them be put to the blush and perish:

¹⁴ As fire consumeth the forest, And as flame setteth the mountains in a blaze,

¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm!

¹⁶ Cover their faces with shame, That they may seek thy name, O LORD!

¹⁷ Let them be confounded! Yea, let them be put to shame, and perish!

¹⁴ As the fire that kindles the forest, as flame that sets mountains ablaze,

¹⁵ so with your tempest pursue them, terrify them with your hurricane.

¹⁶ Make them blush with shame; until they seek your name, O Lord.

¹⁷ Everlasting shame and confusion, disgrace and destruction be theirs.

¹⁴ As the fire that kindles the forest, as flame that sets mountains ablaze,

¹⁵ so with your tempest pursue them, terrify them with your hurricane.

¹⁶ Make them blush with shame; until they seek your name, O Lord.

¹⁵ So thou shalt pursue them in thy tempest; and thou shalt trouble them in thine ire. (so shalt thou pursue after them with thy tempest; and thou shalt made them afraid with thy storm winds.)

¹⁶ Lord, fill thou the faces of them with shame; and they shall seek thy name. (Lord, fill thou their faces with shame; and then they shall seek thy name.)

¹⁷ Be they ashamed, and be they troubled into the world of world, (or Be they ashamed, and let them be troubled forever); and be they shamed, and perish they.

¹⁴ As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,

¹⁵ So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.

¹⁶ Fill their faces with shame, And they seek Thy name, O Jehovah.

¹⁷ They are ashamed and troubled for ever, Yea, they are confounded and lost.
