¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; Yea, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

¹² Who said, Let us take to ourselves in possession The habitations of God.

¹³ O my God, make them like the whirling dust; As stubble before the wind.

¹⁴ As the fire that burneth the forest, And as the flame that setteth the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, And terrify them with thy storm.

¹¹ For one day in thy courts is better than thousands. I would rather be an abject in the house of God, than dwell in the tents of sinners.

¹² For the Lord loves mercy and truth: God will give grace and glory: the Lord will not withhold good things from them that walk in innocence.

¹³ O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in thee.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

¹² Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

¹³ O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

¹³ My God, cause them to disappear quickly like whirling dust, like chaff that the wind blows away!

¹⁴ Like a fire completely burns a forest and like flames burn in the mountains,

¹⁵ expel them by sending storms; cause them to be terrified by your big storms/hurricanes!

¹² Who have said, Let us take for our heritage the resting-place of God.

¹³ O my God, make them like the rolling dust; like dry stems before the wind.

¹⁴ As fire burning a wood, and as a flame causing fire on the mountains,

¹⁵ So go after them with your strong wind, and let them be full of fear because of your storm.

¹¹ Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb; and all their chiefs as Zebah and as Zalmunna.

¹² For they have said, Let us take to ourselves God's dwelling-places in possession.

¹³ O my God, make them like a whirling thing, like stubble before the wind.

¹⁴ As fire burneth a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire,

¹⁵ So pursue them with thy tempest, and terrify them with thy whirlwind.

¹¹ For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.

¹² For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.

¹³ He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence: O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

¹¹ Make their leaders like Oreb and Zeeb; all their rulers like Zebah and Zalmunna,

¹² for they said, “Let's take the pastures of God for ourselves!”

¹³ My God, make them like whirling tumbleweeds, chaff blown away by the wind.

¹⁴ Just like fire that burns the forest, a flame that sets fire to the mountains,

¹⁵ in the same way chase them down with your storm, terrify them with your whirlwind.

¹¹ Make them, euen their princes like Oreb and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes like Zebah and like Zalmuna.

¹² Which haue said, Let vs take for our possession the habitations of God.

¹³ O my God, make them like vnto a wheele, and as the stubble before the winde.

¹⁴ As the fire burneth the forest, and as the flame setteth the mountaines on fire:

¹⁵ So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraide with thy storme.

¹¹ (83-12) Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, and like Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes;

¹² (83-13) Who said: 'Let us take to ourselves in possession the habitations of God.'

¹⁴ (83-15) As the fire that burneth the forest, and as the flame that setteth the mountains ablaze;

¹⁵ (83-16) So pursue them with Thy tempest, and affright them with Thy storm.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: Yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

¹² Who said, Let us take to ourselves The houses of God in possession.

¹³ O my God, make them like a wheel; As the stubble before the wind.

¹¹ (83:12) Render them, their nobles, like 'Oreb, and like Zeeb; yea, like Zebach and like Zalmunna' all their princes;

¹² (83:13) Who said, Let us conquer for ourselves the dwellings of God,

¹³ (83:14) O my God, render them like the thistle-down, like stubble before the wind.

¹⁴ (83:15) As the fire burneth up a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire:

¹⁵ (83:16) So pursue them with thy storm, and with thy whirlwind do thou terrify them.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

¹² who said, “Let us take for ourselves the meadows of God.”

¹³ Whirl them, my God, like dust, like stubble before the wind.

¹⁴ As the fire that kindles the forest, as flame that sets mountains ablaze,

¹⁵ so with your tempest pursue them, terrify them with your hurricane.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

¹² who said, “Let us take for ourselves the meadows of God.”

¹³ Whirl them, my God, like dust, like stubble before the wind.

¹⁴ As the fire that kindles the forest, as flame that sets mountains ablaze,

¹⁵ so with your tempest pursue them, terrify them with your hurricane.

¹¹ Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb; yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna;

¹³ My God, put thou them as a wheel; and as stubble before the face of the wind.

¹⁴ As fire that burneth a wood; and as flame burning hills.

¹⁵ So thou shalt pursue them in thy tempest; and thou shalt trouble them in thine ire.

¹¹ Put thou the princes of them as Oreb and Zeeb; and Zebah and Zalmunna. (Make thou their princes, or their leaders, like Oreb and Zeeb; and like Zebah and Zalmunna.)

¹² All the princes of them, that said, Hold we by heritage the saintuary of God. (Yea, all their princes,or their leaders, who said, Let us take for ourselves the land that belongeth to God or the land that belongeth to God’s people.)

¹³ My God, put thou them as a wheel; and as stubble before the face of the wind. (My God, put thou them into a whirlwind; yea, make them like the dust in the wind.)

¹⁴ As fire that burneth a wood; and as flame burning hills. (Like the fire that burneth a wood; and the flames that burn the hills,)

¹⁵ So thou shalt pursue them in thy tempest; and thou shalt trouble them in thine ire. (so shalt thou pursue after them with thy tempest; and thou shalt made them afraid with thy storm winds.)

¹¹ Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes,

¹² Who have said, 'Let us occupy for ourselves The comely places of God.'

¹³ O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.

¹⁴ As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,

¹⁵ So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.
