16They themselves will experience the trouble that they want to cause others to have; they will hurt themselves by the violent things that they want to do to others.
17I praise Yahweh because he always acts righteously/justly; I sing to praise Yahweh, the one who is much greater than any other god.
16The trouble he causes shall teshuvah ·completely return· to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.
17I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai according to his righteousness, and will make zahmar ·musical praise· to the name of Adonai Most High.
16His sorrow shall be turned into his head; and his wickedness shall come down into his neck. (His sorrow shall return onto his own head; and his wickedness shall come down onto his own neck.)
17I shall acknowledge to the Lord by his rightfulness; and I shall sing to the name of the highest Lord. (I shall praise the Lord for his righteousness; and I shall sing to the name of the Most High Lord.)
