⁶⁷ Moreover he refused the tent of Joseph, And chose not the tribe of Ephraim,

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, The mount Zion which he loved.

⁶⁹ And he built his sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which he hath established for ever.

⁷⁰ He chose David also his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds:

⁷¹ From following the ewes that have their young he brought him, To be the shepherd of Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

⁷² So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

⁶⁷ Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

⁶⁹ And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he hath established for ever.

⁷² So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of his hands.

⁶⁷ But he did not set up his tent where the people of the tribe of Ephraim lived; he did not choose their area to do that.

⁶⁸ Instead he chose the area where the tribe of Judah lived; he chose Zion Hill, which he loves.

⁶⁹ He decided to have his temple built there, high up, like his home in heaven; he caused it to be firm, and intended that his temple would last forever, like the earth.

⁷⁰ He chose David, who served him faithfully, and took him from the pastures

⁷¹ where he was taking care of his father's sheep, and appointed him to be the leader MET of the Israeli people, the people who belong to God.

⁷² David took care of the Israeli people sincerely and wholeheartedly, and guided them skillfully/wisely.

⁶⁷ Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, and didn’t choose the tribe of Ephraim,

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.

⁶⁹ He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.

⁷⁰ He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

⁷¹ from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.

⁷² So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

⁶⁸ But he took the tribe of Judah for himself, and the mountain of Zion, in which he had pleasure.

⁶⁹ And he made his holy place like the high heaven, like the earth which is fixed by him for ever.

⁷⁰ He took David to be his servant, taking him from the place of the flocks;

⁷¹ From looking after the sheep which were giving milk, he took him to give food to Jacob his people, and to Israel his heritage.

⁷² So he gave them food with an upright heart, guiding them by the wisdom of his hands.

⁶⁷ And he rejected the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim,

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved;

⁶⁹ And he built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he hath founded for ever.

⁷⁰ And he chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:

⁷¹ From following the suckling-ewes, he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

⁷² And he fed them according to the integrity of his heart, and led them by the skilfulness of his hands.

⁶⁷ He rejected the descendants of Joseph, and did not choose the tribe of Ephraim.

⁶⁸ Instead he chose the tribe of Judah, and Mount Zion which he loves.

⁶⁹ There he built his sanctuary, high like the heavens, on earth that he made to last forever.

⁷⁰ He chose his servant David, taking him from the sheep pens,

⁷¹ taking him from caring for the sheep and lambs to be a shepherd to the descendants of Jacob—God's special people, Israel.

⁷² Like a shepherd, he took care of them with sincere devotion, leading them with skillful hands.

⁶⁷ Yet he refused the tabernacle of Ioseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Iudah, and mount Zion which he loued.

⁶⁹ And he built his Sanctuarie as an high palace, like the earth, which he stablished for euer.

⁷⁰ He chose Dauid also his seruant, and tooke him from the shepefolds.

⁷¹ Euen from behinde the ewes with yong brought he him to feede his people in Iaakob, and his inheritance in Israel.

⁷² So he fed them according to the simplicitie of his heart, and guided them by the discretion of his hands.

⁶⁷ Moreover He abhorred the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim;

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which He loved.

⁶⁹ And He built His sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which He hath founded for ever.

⁷⁰ He chose David also His servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

⁷¹ From following the ewes that give suck He brought him, to be shepherd over Jacob His people, and Israel His inheritance.

⁷² So he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart; and lead them by the skilfulness of his hands.

⁷⁰ And he made choice of David his servant, and took him from the sheep-folds:

⁷¹ From following the ewes with young he brought him, to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

⁷² And he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and by the skilfulness of his hands did he lead them.

⁶⁷ Yet he rejected the tents of Joseph, And chose not the tribe of Ephraim;

⁶⁸ But chose the tribe of Judah, The Mount Zion which he loved;

⁶⁹ Where he built, like the heavens, his sanctuary; Like the earth, which he hath established for ever.

⁷⁰ And he chose David, his servant, And took him from the sheepfolds;

⁷¹ From tending the suckling ewes he brought him To feed Jacob his people, And Israel his inheritance.

⁷⁰ He also chose David Beloved his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

⁷¹ from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob Supplanter, his people, and Israel God prevails, his inheritance.

⁷² So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

⁶⁷ He rejected the tent of Joseph, and he did not chose the tribe of Ephraim.

⁶⁸ He chose the tribe of Judah and Mount Zion that he loved.

⁶⁹ He built his sanctuary like the heavens, like the earth that he has established forever.

⁷¹ He took him from following the ewes with their young, and he brought him to be shepherd of Jacob, his people, and of Israel, his heritage.

⁶⁸ But he chose the lineage of Judah; he chose the hill of Zion, which he loved.

⁶⁹ And he as an unicorn builded his holy place; in the land, which he founded into worlds.

⁷⁰ And he chose David his servant, and took him up from the flocks of sheep;

⁷¹ he took him from behind sheep with lambs. To feed Jacob his servant; and Israel his heritage.

⁷² And he fed them in the inno-cence of his heart; and he led them forth in the understandings of his hands.

⁶⁷ And he putted away the tabernacle of Joseph; and he chose not the lineage of Ephraim. (And he rejected the house of Joseph; and he chose not the tribe of Ephraim.)

⁶⁸ But he chose the lineage of Judah; he chose the hill of Zion, which he loved. (But he chose the tribe of Judah; and he chose Mount Zion, which he loved.)

⁶⁹ And he as an unicorn builded his holy place; in the land, which he founded into worlds. (And he built his holy place like his home in heaven or And he built his holy place as high as the heavens; and he founded it like the earth, to last forever.)

⁷⁰ And he chose David his servant, and took him up from the flocks of sheep; (And he chose David to be his servant, and took him away from the flocks of sheep;)

⁷¹ he took him from behind sheep with lambs. To feed Jacob his servant; and Israel his heritage. (yea, he brought him out from following behind the sheep with their lambs, to feed his people Jacob; yea, his inheritance Israel.)

⁷² And he fed them in the innocence of his heart; and he led them forth in the understandings of his hands. (And David fed them from the innocence of his heart; and he led them forth by the skillfulness of his hands.)

⁶⁷ And He kicketh against the tent of Joseph, And on the tribe of Ephraim hath not fixed.

⁶⁸ And He chooseth the tribe of Judah, With mount Zion that He loved,

⁶⁹ And buildeth His sanctuary as a high place, Like the earth, He founded it to the age.

⁷⁰ And He fixeth on David His servant, And taketh him from the folds of a flock,

⁷¹ From behind suckling ones He hath brought him in, To rule over Jacob His people, And over Israel His inheritance.

⁷² And he ruleth them according to the integrity of his heart, And by the skilfulness of his hands leadeth them!
