⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

⁷ Thou, even thou, art to be feared; And who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

⁸ Thou didst cause sentence to be heard from heaven; The earth feared, and was still,

⁹ When God arose to judgment, To save all the meek of the earth. Selah

⁶ I considered the days of old, and remembered ancient years.

⁷ And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, saying,

⁸ Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be well pleased no more?

⁹ Will he cut off his mercy for ever, even for ever and ever?

⁷ But you cause everyone to be afraid. When you are angry and you punish people, no one can RHQ endure it.

⁸ From heaven you proclaimed that you would judge people, and then everyone on the earth was afraid and did not say anything more,

⁹ when you arose to declare that you would punish wicked people and rescue all those whom they had oppressed.

⁶ And I meditated; I communed with my heart by night, and diligently searched my spirit, saying,

⁹ When God took his place as judge, for the salvation of the poor on the earth. (Selah.)

⁷ And I meditated in the night with my own heart: and I was exercised and I swept my spirit.

⁸ Will God then cast off for ever? or will he never be more favourable again?

⁷ You are terrifying—who can stand before you when you are angry?

⁸ From heaven you announced judgment. Everyone on earth was afraid and stood still,

⁹ when you stood up to judge, to save the oppressed people of the earth. Selah.

⁶ At thy rebuke, O God of Iaakob, both the chariot and horse are cast a sleepe.

⁷ Thou, euen thou art to be feared: and who shall stand in thy sight, when thou art angrie!

⁸ Thou didest cause thy iudgement to bee heard from heauen: therefore the earth feared and was still,

⁹ When thou, O God, arose to iudgement, to helpe all the meeke of the earth. Selah.

⁷ Thou art fearful, and who shall against-stand thee? from that time (of) thine ire. (Thou art to be feared; and who shall be able to stand against thee, when thou art angry?)

⁸ From heaven thou madest doom heard; the earth trembled, and rested. (From heaven thou madest thy judgement heard; and the earth trembled, or shook, and kept silent.)

⁹ When God rose up into doom; to make safe all the mild men of earth. (When God rose up to judge; and to save all the humble of the earth.)

⁶ From Thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse have been fast asleep.

⁷ Thou, fearful art Thou, And who doth stand before Thee, Since Thou hast been angry!

⁸ From heaven Thou hast sounded judgment, Earth hath feared, and hath been still,

⁹ In the rising of God to judgment, To save all the humble of earth. Selah.
