² When I shall find the set time, I will judge uprightly.

³ The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have set up the pillars of it. Selah

⁴ I said unto the arrogant, Deal not arrogantly; And to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁵ Lift not up your horn on high; Speak not with a stiff neck.

⁶ For neither from the east, nor from the west, Nor yet from the south, cometh lifting up.

⁷ But God is the judge: He putteth down one, and lifteth up another.

⁸ For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and the wine foameth; It is full of mixture, and he poureth out of the same: Surely the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall drain them, and drink them.

⁹ But I will declare for ever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; But the horns of the righteous shall be lifted up.

² God is known in Judea; his name is great in Israel.

³ And his place has been in peace, and his dwelling-place in Sion.

⁴ There he broke the power of the bows, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Pause.

⁵ Thou dost wonderfully shine forth from the everlasting mountains.

⁶ All the simple ones in heart were troubled; all the men of wealth have slept their sleep, and have found nothing in their hands.

⁷ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, the riders on horses slumbered.

⁸ Thou art terrible; and who shall withstand thee, because of thine anger?

⁹ Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,

¹⁰ when God arose to judgment, to save all the meek in heart. Pause.

² You have said, “I have appointed a time when I will judge people, and I will judge everyone fairly.

³ When the earth shakes and all the creatures on the earth tremble, I am the one who will ◄keep its foundations steady/prevent it from being destroyed►.

⁴ I say to people who ◄boast/talk proudly about themselves►, ‘Stop bragging!’ and I say to wicked people, ‘Do not proudly do things to show how great you are IDM!

⁵ Do not be arrogant, and do not speak so boastfully!’”

⁶ The one who judges people does not come from the east or from the west, and he does not come from the desert.

⁷ God is the one who judges people; he says that some have sinned and must be punished, and that others have not done what is wrong.

⁸ It is as though Yahweh holds a cup in his hand; it is filled with wine that has spices mixed in it to cause those who drink it to become more drunk; and when Yahweh pours it out, he will force all the wicked people to drink it; they will drink every drop of it, which means that he will give them all the punishment that they deserve.

⁹ But as for me, I will never stop saying what the God whom Jacob worshiped has done; I will never quit singing to praise him.

¹⁰ He will destroy the power IDM of wicked people, but he will cause righteous people to become more powerful..

⁴ I say to the men of pride, Let your pride be gone: and to the sinners, Let not your horn be lifted up.

⁵ Let not your horn be lifted up: let no more words of pride come from your outstretched necks.

⁶ For honour does not come from the east, or from the west, or uplifting from the south;

⁷ But God is the judge, putting down one, and lifting up another.

⁸ For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red; it is well mixed, overflowing from his hand: he will make all the sinners of the earth take of it, even to the last drop.

⁹ But I will ever be full of joy, making songs of praise to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ By him will all the horns of the sinners be cut off; but the horns of the upright will be lifted up.

² When I shall receive the assembly, I will judge with equity.

³ The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I have established its pillars. Selah.

⁴ I said unto the boastful, Boast not; and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁵ Lift not up your horn on high; speak not arrogantly with a stiff neck.

⁶ For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation come:

⁷ For God is the judge; he putteth down one and exalteth another.

⁸ For in the hand of Jehovah there is a cup, and it foameth with wine, it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same; yea, the dregs thereof shall all the wicked of the earth drain off, and drink.

² In Judea God is known: his name is great in Israel.

³ And his place is in peace: and his abode in Sion:

⁴ There hath he broken the powers of bows, the shield, the sword, and the battie.

⁵ Thou enlightenest wonderfully from the everlasting hills.

⁶ All the foolish of heart were troubled. They have slept their sleep; and all the men of riches have found nothing in their hands.

⁷ At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, they have all slumbered that mounted on horseback.

⁸ Thou art terrible, and who shall resist thee? from that time thy wrath.

⁹ Thou hast caused judgment to be heard from heaven: the earth trembled and was still,

¹⁰ When God arose in judgment, to save all the meek of the earth.

² God says, “When the time I have decided comes, I will judge fairly.

³ When the earth quakes, and all its inhabitants tremble, I am the one who holds it steady. Selah.

⁴ To those who boast I say, ‘Don't boast!’ I tell the wicked, ‘Don't be proud!’

⁵ No, don't be proud and arrogant, insulting heaven.”

⁶ For no one, from the east to the west, or from the wilderness, should think so highly of themselves.

⁷ God is the one who decides—who he will bring down and who he will lift up.

⁸ For the Lord has a cup in his hand, full of bubbling wine mixed with spices. He pours it out, and all the wicked drink it deeply, down to the last drop.

⁹ But I will speak about you forever. I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ For God says, “I will break the power of the wicked; but I will give my support to those who do what is good.”

² When I shall take a conuenient time, I will iudge righteously.

³ The earth and all the inhabitantes thereof are dissolued: but I will establish the pillars of it. Selah.

⁴ I saide vnto the foolish, Be not so foolish, and to the wicked, Lift not vp the horne.

⁵ Lift not vp your horne on high, neither speake with a stiffe necke.

⁶ For to come to preferment is neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South,

⁷ But God is the iudge: he maketh lowe and he maketh hie.

⁸ For in the hand of the Lord is a cup, and the wine is red: it is full mixt, and he powreth out of the same: surely all the wicked of the earth shall wring out and drinke the dregges thereof.

⁹ But I will declare for euer, and sing prayses vnto the God of Iaakob.

¹⁰ All the hornes of the wicked also will I breake: but the hornes of the righteous shalbe exalted.

² (75-3) 'When I take the appointed time, I Myself will judge with equity.

³ (75-4) When the earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved, I Myself establish the pillars of it.' Selah

⁴ (75-5) I say unto the arrogant: 'Deal not arrogantly'; and to the wicked: 'Lift not up the horn.'

⁸ (75:9) For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foameth, it is full of mixture: and he poureth out of the same; but its lees they drain, they drink—all the wicked of the earth.

⁸ for a cup of clean wine, full of meddling or mingling, is in the hand of the Lord. And he bowed of this into that; nevertheless the dregs thereof is not diminished, either made less, for all the sinners of the earth shall drink thereof.

⁹ Forsooth I shall tell into the world; I shall sing to God of Jacob.

¹⁰ And I shall break all the horns of sinners; and the horns of the just or rightwise man shall be enhanced.

² when I shall take (hold of the) time, I shall deem (with) rightfulnesses. (And God said, I shall take hold of the time; and I shall judge with righteousness or with justice.)

³ The earth is melted, and all that dwell therein; I confirmed the pillars thereof. (The earth was shaken, and all who live on it; but I made its pillars firm.)

⁴ I said to wicked men (or I said to the wicked), Do not ye do wickedly; and to trespassers, Do not ye enhance the horn.

⁵ Do not ye raise on high your horn; do not ye speak wickedness against God. (Do not ye raise up your horn on high; do not ye speak wickedly, or proudly, against God.)

⁶ For (promotion cometh) neither from the east, neither from the west, neither from desert hills; (For judgement cometh not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the hills in the wilderness;)

⁷ for God is the judge. He meeketh this man, and enhanceth him; (for God is the judge. He humbleth this one, and raiseth up that one;)

⁸ for a cup of clean wine, full of meddling, is in the hand of the Lord, (or for there (is) a cup of clear wine, full of mixing, (or of mixture), in the Lord’s hand). And he bowed (some) of this into that; nevertheless the dregs thereof is not diminished, either made less, (for) all the sinners of the earth shall drink thereof.

⁹ Forsooth I shall tell into the world; I shall sing to God of Jacob. (And I shall tell this out forever; I shall sing to the God of Jacob.)

¹⁰ And I shall break all the horns of sinners; and the horns of the just man shall be enhanced. (And I shall break all the horns of the sinners; but the horns of the righteous shall be raised up.)

² When I receive an appointment, I — I do judge uprightly.

³ Melted is the earth and all its inhabitants, I — I have pondered its pillars. Selah.

⁴ I have said to the boastful, 'Be not boastful,' And to the wicked, 'Raise not up a horn.'

⁵ Raise not up on high your horn, (Ye speak with a stiff neck.)

⁶ For not from the east, or from the west, Nor from the wilderness — is elevation.

⁷ But God is judge, This He maketh low — and this He lifteth up.

⁸ For a cup is in the hand of Jehovah, And the wine hath foamed, It is full of mixture, and He poureth out of it, Only its dregs wring out, and drink, Do all the wicked of the earth,

⁹ And I — I declare it to the age, I sing praise to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ And all horns of the wicked I cut off, Exalted are the horns of the righteous!
