⁹ We see not our signs: There is no more any prophet; Neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

¹⁰ How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?

¹¹ Why drawest thou back thy hand, even thy right hand? Pluck it out of thy bosom and consume them.

¹² Yet God is my King of old, Working salvation in the midst of the earth.

¹³ Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: Thou brakest the heads of the sea-monsters in the waters.

¹⁴ Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces; Thou gavest him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.

¹⁵ Thou didst cleave fountain and flood: Thou driedst up mighty rivers.

¹⁶ The day is thine, the night also is thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun.

¹⁷ Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: Thou hast made summer and winter.

¹⁸ Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O Jehovah, And that a foolish people hath blasphemed thy name.

¹⁹ Oh deliver not the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast: Forget not the life of thy poor for ever.

²⁰ Have respect unto the covenant; For the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of violence.

²¹ Oh let not the oppressed return ashamed: Let the poor and needy praise thy name.

⁹ For there is a cup in the hand of the Lord, full of unmingled wine; and he has turned it from side to side, but its dregs have not been wholly poured out; all the sinners of the earth shall drink them.

¹⁰ But I will exult for ever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹¹ And I will break all the horns of sinners; but the horns of the righteous one shall be exalted.

¹⁰ God, how long will our enemies make fun of you RHQ? Will they insult you MTY forever RHQ?

¹¹ Why do you refuse to help MTY, RHQ us? Why do you keep your hand inside your cloak instead of using it to destroy our enemies RHQ?

¹² God, you have been our king all the time since we came out of Egypt HYP, and you have enabled us to defeat our enemies in the land of Israel.

¹³ By your power you caused the Red Sea to divide; it was as though you smashed the heads of the rulers of Egypt who were like huge sea dragons MET.

¹⁴ It was as though you crushed the head of the king of Egypt MET and gave his body to the animals in the desert to eat.

¹⁵ You caused springs and streams to flow, and you also dried up rivers that had never dried up previously.

¹⁶ You created the days and the nights, and you put the sun and the moon in their places.

¹⁷ You determined where the oceans end and the land begins, and you created the summer/hot season and the winter/cold season.

¹⁸ Yahweh, do not forget that your enemies laugh at you, and that it is foolish people who despise you MTY.

¹⁹ Do not let your helpless people MET fall into the hands of their cruel enemies; do not forget your suffering/persecuted people.

²⁰ Do not forget the agreement that you made with us; remember that there are violent people in every dark place on the earth.

²¹ Do not allow your oppressed people to be disgraced; help those poor and needy people in order that they will again praise you MTY.

⁹ But I will exult for ever: I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

¹⁰ And I will break all the horns of sinners; but the horns of the righteous one shall be exalted.

¹³ The sea was parted in two by your strength; the heads of the great sea-beasts were broken.

¹⁴ The heads of the great snake were crushed by you; you gave them as food to the fishes of the sea.

¹⁵ You made valleys for fountains and springs; you made the ever-flowing rivers dry.

¹⁶ The day is yours and the night is yours: you made the light and the sun.

¹⁷ By you all the limits of the earth were fixed; you have made summer and winter.

¹⁸ Keep this in mind, O Lord, that your haters have said cruel things, and that your name has been looked down on by a people of evil behaviour.

¹⁹ O give not the soul of your dove to the hawk; let not the life of the poor go out of your memory for ever.

²⁰ Keep in mind your undertaking; for the dark places of the earth are full of pride and cruel acts.

²¹ O let not the crushed be turned back in shame; let the low man and the poor give praise to your name.

⁹ We see not our signs; there is no more any prophet, neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.

¹⁰ How long, O God, shall the adversary reproach? Shall the enemy contemn thy name for ever?

¹¹ Why withdrawest thou thy hand, and thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom: consume them.

¹² But God is my king of old, accomplishing deliverances in the midst of the earth.

¹⁴ Thou didst break in pieces the heads of leviathan, thou gavest him to be meat to those that people the desert.

¹⁵ Thou didst cleave fountain and torrent, thou driedst up ever-flowing rivers.

¹⁷ Thou hast set all the borders of the earth; summer and winter — thou didst form them.

¹⁸ Remember this, that an enemy hath reproached Jehovah, and a foolish people have contemned thy name.

¹⁹ Give not up the soul of thy turtle-dove unto the wild beast; forget not the troop of thine afflicted for ever.

²⁰ Have respect unto the covenant; for the dark places of the earth are full of the dwellings of violence.

²¹ Oh let not the oppressed one return ashamed; let the afflicted and needy praise thy name.

⁹ For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup of strong wine full of mixture. And he hath poured it out from this to that: but the dregs thereof are not emptied: all the sinners of the earth shall drink.

¹⁰ But I will declare for ever: I will sing to the God of Jacob.

¹¹ And I will break all the horns of sinners: but the horns of the just shall be exalted.

⁹ We no longer see any signs. There are no prophets left. And no one among us knows how long this will last.

¹⁰ How long will the enemy ridicule you, God? Will they insult your character forever?

¹¹ Why do you hold back from doing something? Take action and destroy them!

¹² But you, God, are our king from long ago. You have saved us many times in the land.

¹³ You were the one who split apart the sea by your strength; you broke the heads of the sea monsters.

¹⁴ You were the one who crushed the heads of Leviathan, and you gave its body to the desert animals to eat.

¹⁵ You were the one who made springs and rivers flow with water. You made permanent rivers dry up.

¹⁶ You created the day, and also the night; you made the moon and the sun.

¹⁷ You set the boundaries of the earth; you made summer and winter.

¹⁸ So keep in mind how the enemy ridiculed you, Lord, and how irreverent people insulted your reputation.

¹⁹ Don't let wild animals kill your turtledoves! Don't abandon your people forever!

²⁰ Remember your promises in the agreement, because the land is full of dark places and violence.

²¹ Don't let those who suffer be mistreated again. Let the poor and needy praise you for you who are.

¹⁷ Thou didst establish all the boundaries of the earth; Thou didst make summer and winter.

¹⁸ O remember that the enemy hath reviled Jehovah; That an impious people hath blasphemed thy name!

¹⁹ Give not up the life of thy turtle-dove to the wild beast; Forget not for ever thine afflicted people!

²⁰ Have regard to thy covenant! For all the dark places of the land are full of the abodes of cruelty.

²¹ O let not the afflicted go away ashamed! Let the poor and needy praise thy name!

⁹ No symbol of ours do we see any more: no prophet is there any more, none is with us who knows how long.

¹⁰ How long, O God, is the foe to insult? Shall the enemy spurn your name forever?

¹¹ Why, O Lord, do you hold back your hand, why keep your right hand in the folds of your robe?

¹² Yet God is our king from the ancient days, in the midst of the earth working deeds of salvation.

¹³ It was you who did cleave the sea by your might, and shatter the heads of the ocean monsters.

¹⁴ It was you who did crush many-headed Leviathan, and give him as food to the beasts of the wilderness.

¹⁵ It was you who did cleave the fountains and torrents; it was you who did dry the perennial streams.

¹⁶ Yours is the day; yours, too, is the night, it was you who did establish the sun and the star.

¹⁷ It was you who did fix all the borders of earth: summer and winter it's you who have made them.

¹⁸ Yet, for all this, the foe has insulted you, Lord, and a nation of fools has reviled your name.

¹⁹ Do not give your dove to the beasts, do not forget your afflicted forever.

²⁰ Look to the sleek ones - how full they are: the dark places of earth are the dwellings of violence.

²¹ O let not the downtrodden turn back ashamed: let the poor and the needy sing praise to your name.

¹⁵ Thou hast broken wells, and strands; thou madest dry the floods of Eitan. (Thou hast broken open the wells, or the springs, and the streams; thou hast dried up the mighty rivers.)

¹⁹ Betake thou not (over) to beasts men acknowledging to thee; and forget thou not into the end the souls of thy poor men. (Give thou not over to beasts those who confess thee; and forget thou not forever the suffering of thy poor.)

²⁰ Behold into thy testament; for they that be made dark of (the) earth, be full-filled with the houses of wickednesses. (Remember thy covenant; for the dark places of the earth, be filled full with the houses of wickedness.)
