³ My soul also is sore troubled: And thou, O Jehovah, how long?

⁴ Return, O Jehovah, deliver my soul: Save me for thy lovingkindness’ sake.

⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of thee: In Sheol who shall give thee thanks?

⁶ I am weary with my groaning; Every night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.

⁷ Mine eye wasteth away because of grief; It waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.

⁸ Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; For Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.

⁹ Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah will receive my prayer.

¹⁰ All mine enemies shall be put to shame and sore troubled: They shall turn back, they shall be put to shame suddenly.

³ Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.

⁴ My soul also is grievously vexed: but thou, O Lord, how long?

⁵ Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: save me for thy mercy's sake.

¹⁰ The Lord has hearkened to my petition; the Lord has accepted my prayer.

³ Yahweh, I am greatly distressed. How long ◄ must I endure this/will it be before you help me► RHQ?

⁴ Yahweh, please come and rescue me. Save me because you faithfully love me.

⁵ I will not be able to praise you after I die RHQ; No one in the place of the dead praises you.

⁶ I am exhausted/groan from my pain. At night I cry very much, with the result that my bed and my pillow become wet from my tears.

⁷ My tears blur my eyes so much that I cannot see well. My eyes have become weak because my enemies have caused me to cry constantly.

⁸ You people who do evil things, get away from me!

⁹ Yahweh heard me when I was crying and called out to him to help me, and he will answer my prayer.

¹⁰ When that happens, all my enemies will be ashamed, and they will also be terrified. They will get away from me and suddenly leave me because they will be disgraced.

³ My soul also is grievously vexed: but you, O Lord, how long?

⁴ Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: save me for your mercy's sake.

⁵ For in death no man remembers you: and who will give you thanks in Hades?

³ My soul is in bitter trouble; and you, O Lord, how long?

⁴ Come back, O Lord, make my soul free; O give me salvation because of your mercy.

⁵ For in death there is no memory of you; in the underworld who will give you praise?

⁶ The voice of my sorrow is a weariness to me; all the night I make my bed wet with weeping; it is watered by the drops flowing from my eyes.

⁷ My eyes are wasting away with trouble; they are becoming old because of all those who are against me.

⁸ Go from me, all you workers of evil; for the Lord has given ear to the voice of my weeping.

⁹ The Lord has given ear to my request; the Lord has let my prayer come before him.

¹⁰ Let all those who are against me be shamed and deeply troubled; let them be turned back and suddenly put to shame.

³ And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?

⁴ Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.

⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of thee; in Sheol who shall give thanks unto thee?

⁶ I am wearied with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I dissolve my couch with my tears.

⁷ Mine eye wasteth away through grief; it hath grown old because of all mine oppressors.

⁸ Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.

⁹ Jehovah hath heard my supplication; Jehovah receiveth my prayer.

¹⁰ All mine enemies shall be ashamed and tremble exceedingly; they will turn, they will be ashamed suddenly.

³ Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.

⁴ And my soul is troubled exceedingly: but thou, O Lord, how long?

⁵ Turn to me, O Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for thy mercy’s sake.

⁶ For there is no one in death, that is mindful of thee: and who shall confess to thee in hell?

⁷ I have laboured in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with my tears.

⁸ My eye is troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.

⁹ Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity: for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

¹⁰ The Lord hath heard my supplication: the Lord hath received my prayer.

³ I'm shaking all over in fear. How long will it be, Lord, before you do something?

⁴ Turn, Lord, and rescue me! Save me because of your trustworthy love!

⁵ For no one remembers you when they're dead. Who is able to praise you from the grave?

⁶ My groaning has exhausted me. Every night I soak my bed with my crying; I drench my couch with my tears.

⁷ With all my crying I can hardly see; my eyes grow weak because of the trouble my enemies cause me.

⁸ Leave me alone, all you people who do evil, for the Lord has heard me crying!

⁹ The Lord has heard me calling out for help; the Lord answers my prayer.

¹⁰ All who hate me will be shamefully defeated and terrified; they will run away in disgrace.

³ My soule is also sore troubled: but Lord how long wilt thou delay?

⁴ Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake.

⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the graue who shall prayse thee?

⁶ I fainted in my mourning: I cause my bed euery night to swimme, and water my couch with my teares.

⁷ Mine eye is dimmed for despight, and sunke in because of all mine enemies.

⁸ Away from mee all ye workers of iniquitie: for the Lord hath heard the voyce of my weeping.

⁹ The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

¹⁰ All mine enemies shall be confounded and sore vexed: they shall be turned backe, and put to shame suddenly.

³ (6-4) My soul also is sore affrighted; and Thou, O LORD, how long?

⁴ (6-5) Return, O LORD, deliver my soul; save me for Thy mercy's sake.

⁵ (6-6) For in death there is no remembrance of Thee; in the nether-world who will give Thee thanks?

⁶ (6-7) I am weary with my groaning; every night make I my bed to swim; I melt away my couch with my tears.

⁷ (6-8) Mine eye is dimmed because of vexation; it waxeth old because of all mine adversaries.

⁸ (6-9) Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

⁹ (6-10) The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD receiveth my prayer.

¹⁰ (6-11) All mine enemies shall be ashamed and sore affrighted; they shall turn back, they shall be ashamed suddenly.

⁵ (6:6) For in death men do not remember thee: in the nether world, who shall give thee thanks?

⁶ (6:7) I am weary with my sighing; I flood every night my bed; With my tears I moisten my couch.

⁷ (6:8) My eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all my assailants.

⁸ (6:9) Depart from me, all ye workers of wickedness; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

⁹ (6:10) The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will accept my prayer.

¹⁰ (6:11) Ashamed and greatly terrified shall become all my enemies; they will turn round, and be made ashamed in a moment.

³ Pity me, O Lord; for I am weak: Heal me, O Lord; for my bones are vexed.

⁴ My soul also is grievously vexed: But thou, O Lord, how long?

⁵ Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: Save me for thy mercy’s sake.

⁷ Mine eye is wasted with grief; It hath become old because of all my enemies.

⁸ Depart from me, all ye that do iniquity; For the LORD heareth the voice of my weeping.

⁹ The LORD heareth my supplication; The LORD accepteth my prayer.

¹⁰ All my enemies shall be ashamed and utterly confounded; They shall be turned back, and put to shame suddenly.

³ all of me utterly racked. Why do you wait so long, Lord?

⁴ Turn, Lord, rescue me; save me, because of your love.

⁵ For in death none can call you to mind; in Sheol who can praise you?

⁶ I am so weary of sighing. All the night I make my bed swim, and wet my couch with my tears.

⁷ My eyes swollen with grief; from weeping caused by my foes.

⁸ Begone, workers of wrong, for the Lord has heard my loud weeping,

⁹ the Lord has heard my entreaty, the Lord accepts my prayer.

¹⁰ My foes will be stricken with terror, brought to shame and dismay in a moment.

³ all of me utterly racked. Why do you wait so long, Lord?

⁴ Turn, Lord, rescue me; save me, because of your love.

⁴ Teshuvah ·Completely return·, Adonai . Deliver my soul, and save me for your cheshed ·loving-kindness’· sake.

⁵ For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol ·Place of the dead·, who shall yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you?

⁶ I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.

⁷ My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.

⁸ Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Adonai has sh'ma ·heard obeyed· the voice of my weeping.

⁹ Adonai has sh'ma ·heard obeyed· my supplication. Adonai accepts my prayer.

¹⁰ May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.

³ My soul also is very troubled. But you, Yahweh—how long will this continue?

⁴ Return, Yahweh! rescue me. Save me because of your covenant faithfulness!

⁵ For in death there is no remembrance of you. In Sheol who will give you thanks?

⁶ I am weary with my groaning. All night I drench my bed with tears; I wash my couch away with my tears.

⁷ My eyes grow dim from grief; they grow weak because of all my adversaries.

⁸ Get away from me, all you who practice iniquity; for Yahweh has heard the sound of my weeping.

⁹ Yahweh has heard my appeal for mercy; Yahweh has accepted my prayer.

¹⁰ All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly troubled. They will turn back and be suddenly humiliated.

³ My soul is also in great anguish. But you, Yahweh—how long?

⁴ Return, Yahweh. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness’ sake.

⁵ For none there is in death, that is mindful of thee; but in hell who shall acknowledge to thee?

⁶ I travailed in my wailing, I shall wash my bed by each night; I shall moisten, either make wet, my bedstraw with my tears.

⁷ Mine eye is troubled of strong vengeance; I waxed eld or old among all mine enemies.

⁸ All ye that work wickedness, depart from me; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.

⁹ The Lord hath heard my beseech-ing; the Lord hath received my prayer.

¹⁰ All mine enemies be ashamed, and be troubled greatly; be they turned altogether, and be they ashamed full swiftly.

³ And my soul is troubled greatly; but thou, Lord, how long? (And my soul is greatly troubled; but thou, O Lord, how long shalt thou wait?)

⁴ Lord, be thou converted/be thou turned again, and deliver my soul; make thou me safe, for thy mercy. (Lord, return thou, and rescue my soul; save thou me, in thy mercy or for the sake of thy love.)

⁵ For none there is in death, that is mindful of thee; but in hell who shall acknowledge to thee? (For there is no one among the dead, who remembereth thee; who shall praise thee in Sheol, or in the land of the dead? or who shall praise thee in the grave?)

⁶ I travailed in my wailing, I shall wash my bed by each night; I shall moisten, either make wet, my bedstraw with my tears. (I am travailed, or made weary, from all my wailing, and each night I wash my bed with my weeping; yea, I moisten my bedstraw with my tears.)

⁷ Mine eye is troubled of strong vengeance; I wax eld among all mine enemies. (My eyes be full of grief; they grow old because of all my enemies.)

⁸ All ye that work wickedness, depart from me; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. (All ye who do evil, go away from me; for the Lord hath heard the sound of my weeping.)

⁹ The Lord hath heard my beseeching; the Lord hath received my prayer. (The Lord hath heard my plea; the Lord hath received my prayer.)

¹⁰ All mine enemies be ashamed, and be troubled greatly; be they turned (al)together, and be they ashamed full swiftly. (Let all my enemies be ashamed, and be greatly troubled; yea, let them be turned away, and be they quickly ashamed or and be they greatly confused.)

³ And my soul hath been troubled greatly, And Thou, O Jehovah, till when?

⁴ Turn back, O Jehovah, draw out my soul, Save me for Thy kindness' sake.

⁵ For there is not in death Thy memorial, In Sheol, who doth give thanks to Thee?

⁶ I have been weary with my sighing, I meditate through all the night on my bed, With my tear my couch I waste.

⁷ Old from provocation is mine eye, It is old because of all mine adversaries,

⁸ Turn from me all ye workers of iniquity, For Jehovah heard the voice of my weeping,

⁹ Jehovah hath heard my supplication, Jehovah my prayer receiveth.

¹⁰ Ashamed and troubled greatly are all mine enemies, They turn back — ashamed in a moment!
