Psalms 6:1-4

¹“For the leader of the music; to be accompanied with stringed instruments; to the octave. A psalm of David.” O LORD! rebuke me not in thine anger; Chasten me not in thy hot displeasure!

²Have pity upon me, O LORD! for I am weak; Heal me, O LORD! for my bones tremble!

³My soul, also, is sore troubled; And thou, O LORD! how long—?

⁴Return, O LORD! and deliver me; Oh, save me according to thy mercy!
