⁵ O God, thou knowest my foolishness; And my sins are not hid from thee.

⁶ Let not them that wait for thee be put to shame through me, O Lord Jehovah of hosts: Let not those that seek thee be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel.

⁷ Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; Shame hath covered my face.

⁸ I am become a stranger unto my brethren, And an alien unto my mother’s children.

⁵ Let all that seek thee exult and be glad in thee: and let those that love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

⁶ But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: thou art my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.

⁵ O God, ◄you see the sins that I have committed/my sins are not hidden from you►. You know that I have foolishly disobeyed your laws.

⁶ O Yahweh God, you who are the commander of the armies of heaven, do not allow the wrong things that I have done to cause those who trust in you to be disappointed/disillusioned. O God, you whom we Israeli people worship, do not allow me to cause your people to be humiliated.

⁷ People have insulted/ridiculed me because I am devoted to you. They have thoroughly humiliated IDM me.

⁸ Even my own older brothers act as if they do not know me; they treat me like a foreigner.

⁵ But I am poor and needy; O God, help me: you are my helper and deliverer, O Lord, delay not.

⁶ Don’t let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord Yahweh of Armies. Don’t let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.

⁶ Let not those who have hope in you be put to shame because of me, O Lord God of armies: let not those who are waiting for you be made low because of me, O God of Israel.

⁷ I have been wounded with sharp words because of you; my face has been covered with shame.

⁸ I have become strange to my brothers, and like a man from a far country to my mother's children.

⁵ Thou, O God, knowest my foolishness, and my trespasses are not hidden from thee.

⁶ Let not them that wait on thee, Lord, Jehovah of hosts, be ashamed through me; let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.

⁷ Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; confusion hath covered my face.

⁸ I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's sons;

⁵ Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.

⁶ But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.

⁵ God, you know how foolish I am! My sins are not hidden from you.

⁶ Don't let those who trust you be ashamed because of me, Lord God Almighty. Don't let those who follow you be disgraced because of me, God of Israel.

⁷ For your sake I put up with the insults; my face shows my embarrassment.

⁸ I have become a foreigner to my brother Israelites; a stranger to my very own brothers.

⁵ O God, thou knowest my foolishnesse, and my fautes are not hid from thee.

⁶ Let not them that trust in thee, O Lord God of hostes, be ashamed for me: let not those that seeke thee, be confounded through mee, O God of Israel.

⁷ For thy sake haue I suffred reproofe: shame hath couered my face.

⁸ I am become a stranger vnto my brethren, euen an aliant vnto my mothers sonnes.

⁵ (69:6) O God, thou art well aware of my folly, and my guilty deeds are from thee not hidden.

⁶ (69:7) Let not those that wait on thee, O Lord Eternal of hosts, be made ashamed through me: let not those that seek thee be confounded through me, O God of Israel.

⁷ (69:8) Because for thy sake have I borne reproach, hath confusion covered my face.

⁸ (69:9) A stranger am I become unto my brothers, and an alien unto my mother's children.

⁷ It's in your cause that I have borne taunts, and my face has been covered with shame;

⁸ I became to my kindred a foreigner, to my mother's sons a stranger.

⁵ O God, you know my folly, my guilt is not hidden from you.

⁶ Let not those waiting on Thee be ashamed because of me, O Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, Let not those seeking Thee Blush because of me, O God of Israel.

⁷ For because of Thee I have borne reproach, Shame hath covered my face.

⁸ A stranger I have been to my brother, And a foreigner to sons of my mother.
