³⁰ I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify him with thanksgiving.

³¹ And it will please Jehovah better than an ox, Or a bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

³² The meek have seen it, and are glad: Ye that seek after God, let your heart live.

³³ For Jehovah heareth the needy, And despiseth not his prisoners.

³⁴ Let heaven and earth praise him, The seas, and everything that moveth therein.

³⁵ For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah; And they shall abide there, and have it in possession.

³⁶ The seed also of his servants shall inherit it; And they that love his name shall dwell therein.

³² Oppressed/Afflicted people will see that God has rescued me, and they will be glad. I want all of you who ask God to help you to be encouraged.

³³ Yahweh listens to those who are needy; He does not ignore/forget those who are oppressed/imprisoned.

³⁴ I desire that everything will praise God— everything that is in heaven and on earth, and all the creatures that are in the seas.

³⁵ God will rescue the people of Jerusalem from their enemies, and he will rebuild the towns that are in Judah. His people will live there and again possess the land.

³⁶ The descendants of his people will inherit it, and those who love him will live there safely.

³¹ The Lord is happier with this than with offering animals as sacrifices: cattle, or bulls with horns and hooves.

³² The humble will see this and be happy. May God encourage everyone who comes to him.

³³ God hears the poor, and he does not ignore his people who are in prison.

³⁴ Praise him heaven and earth, the seas and everything that lives in them!

³⁵ For God will save Zion, and rebuild the cities of Judah. They will live there and own the land.

³⁶ The descendants of those who follow him will inherit the land, and those who love him will live there.

³¹ More pleasing shall this be to the LORD Than a full-horned and full-hoofed bullock.

³² The afflicted shall see, and rejoice; The hearts of them that fear God shall be revived.

³⁴ Let the heaven and the earth praise him; The sea, and all that move therein!

³⁶ Yea, the posterity of his servants shall possess it, And they that love him shall dwell therein.

³² Poor men see, and be glad; seek ye God, and your soul shall live. (Let the poor see this, and be glad; seek ye God, and ye shall live.)

³³ For the Lord heard poor men; and despised not his bound men. (For the Lord heareth the poor; and despiseth not his people who be imprisoned or and despiseth not those who be bound to his service.)

³⁴ Heavens and earth, praise him; the sea, and all creeping beasts in those, praise him. (Let the heavens and the earth praise him; and the seas, and all the things that move in them.)

³⁵ For God shall make safe Zion; and the cities of Judah shall be builded. And they shall dwell there; and they shall get it by heritage. (For God shall save Zion; and he shall rebuild the cities of Judah. And his people shall live there; and they shall have it as their possession.)

³⁶ And the seed of his servants shall have it in possession; and they that love his name, shall dwell therein. (And the children, or the descendants, of his servants shall get it by inheritance; and they who love his name shall live there.)

³¹ And it is better to Jehovah than an ox, A bullock — horned — hoofed.

³² The humble have seen — they rejoice, Ye who seek God — and your heart liveth.
