²² Let their table before them become a snare; And when they are in peace, let it become a trap.

²³ Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see; And make their loins continually to shake.

²⁴ Pour out thine indignation upon them, And let the fierceness of thine anger overtake them.

²⁵ Let their habitation be desolate; Let none dwell in their tents.

²⁶ For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; And they tell of the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.

²⁷ Add iniquity unto their iniquity; And let them not come into thy righteousness.

²⁸ Let them be blotted out of the book of life, And not be written with the righteous.

²⁹ But I am poor and sorrowful: Let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

²² I hope/desire that the feasts MTY that they enjoy will ◄become a snare for/bring trouble to► them, and that those whom they invite to the sacrificial feasts will also be trapped.

²³ I hope/desire that their eyesight will become dim so that they cannot see anything, and that their backs/bodies will become weaker and weaker.

²⁴ Show them that you are very angry with them! Because of your great/furious anger, chase after them and catch them.

²⁵ Cause their towns to become abandoned/deserted and that there will be no one left to live in their tents/houses.

²⁶ Do this because they persecute those whom you have punished, ◄they talk about the sins of/they want to hurt even more► those whom you have wounded.

²⁷ Keep making a record of all their sins, do not acquit/pardon them for the evil things that they have done.

²⁸ Erase their names SYN from the book containing the names of those who have eternal life; do not include them in the list of righteous people.

²⁹ As for me, I have pain and am suffering. O God, protect me and rescue me.

²⁸ Let their names be taken from the book of the living, let them not be numbered with the upright.

²⁹ But I am poor and full of sorrow; let me be lifted up by your salvation, O Lord.

²⁴ Pour out your judgment on them; chase them down in your fierce anger.

²⁵ Let the places where they live be deserted. Let their homes be abandoned.

²⁶ For they persecute those you have punished, and make it even more painful for those you have disciplined.

²⁷ Punish them for the evil they have done. Don't acquit them.

²⁸ Blot out their names from the Book of Life. Don't let them be listed with those who do right.

²⁹ But I am suffering and in physical pain. God, please save me and keep me safe.

²² Let their table be a snare before them, and their prosperitie their ruine.

²³ Let their eyes be blinded that they see not: and make their loynes alway to tremble.

²⁴ Powre out thine anger vpon them, and let thy wrathfull displeasure take them.

²⁴ (69:25) Pour out over them thy indignation, and let the heat of thy anger overtake them.

²⁵ (69:26) May their palace become desolate: in their tents let no one dwell.

²⁶ (69:27) For whom thou hast smitten they persecute; and of the pain of those whom thou but wounded do they converse.

²⁷ (69:28) Lay guilt upon their guilt; and let them not come into thy righteousness.

²⁸ (69:29) Let them be blotted out of the book of the living; and with the righteous let them not be written down.

²⁹ (69:30) But I am poor and suffering: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

²² May their table be to them a snare; May it be a trap to them, while they are at ease!

²³ May their eyes be darkened, that they may not see; And cause their loins continually to shake!

²⁵ The habitation of them be made forsaken; and be there none that dwell in the tabernacles of them.

²⁶ For they pursued him, whom thou hast smitten; and they added on the sorrow of my wounds.

²⁷ Add thou wickedness on the wickedness of them; and enter they not into thy rightwiseness.

²⁸ Be they done away from the book of living men; and be they not written with just or rightwise men.

²⁹ I am poor and sorrowful; God, thine health or salvation took me up.

²² The board of them be made before them into a snare; and into yieldings, and into cause of stumbling. (May their own table be made into a snare before them; and may their sacred feasts be made into a trap, yea, the reason for their downfall, or ruin.)

²³ Their eyes be made dark, that they see not; and evermore bow down the back of them. (May their eyes be made dark, or dim, so that they cannot see; and bow down their backs forevermore or and make their backs crooked forevermore.)

²⁴ Shed out thine ire on them; and the strong vengeance of thine ire take them. (Pour out thy anger upon them; and let the fury of thy anger take hold of them.)

²⁵ The habitation of them be made forsaken; and be there none that dwell in the tabernacles of them. (May their homes be made empty; and may there be none of them left to live in their tents.)

²⁶ For they pursued him, whom thou hast smitten; and they added on(to) the sorrow of my wounds. (For they pursued after those whom thou hast struck down; yea, they added to the sorrow of those whom thou hast wounded.)

²⁷ Add thou wickedness on(to) the wickedness of them; and enter they not into thy rightwiseness.

²⁸ Be they done away from the book of living men; and be they not written with just men. (Let them be done away from The Book of the Living; and let their names be not written in The List of the Righteous.)

²⁹ I am poor and sorrowful; God, thine health took me up. (I am in pain and full of sorrow; God, lift me up, and save me.)
