²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring them again from the depths of the sea;

²³ That thou mayest crush them, dipping thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies.

²⁴ They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

²⁵ The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.

²⁶ Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, ye that are of the fountain of Israel.

²² They gave me also gall for my food, and made me drink vinegar for my thirst.

²³ Let their table before them be for a snare, and for a recompence, and for a stumbling-block.

²⁴ Let their eyes be darkened that they should not see; and bow down their back continually.

²⁵ Pour out thy wrath upon them, and let the fury of thine anger take hold on them.

²⁶ Let their habitation be made desolate; and let there be no inhabitant in their tents:

²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

²³ That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

²² The Lord said, “I will bring back the corpses of those who were killed in Bashan, and I will bring back those who sank deep in the ocean and drowned.

²³ I will do that in order that you may wash your feet in their blood, and your dogs can also lap up some of your enemies' blood.”

²⁴ God, many people see you march triumphantly into your sacred temple, celebrating that you have defeated your enemies. You march like a king does, and a large crowd walks with you.

²⁵ The singers are in front, and the people who play stringed instruments are at the rear, and young women who are beating their tambourines are between them.

²⁶ They are all singing, “You Israeli people, praise God when you gather together; praise Yahweh, all you who are descendants of Jacob!”

²² Let their table before them be for a snare, and for a recompense, and for a stumbling block.

²³ Let their eyes be darkened that they should not see; and bow down their back continually.

²⁴ Pour out your wrath upon them, and let the fury of your anger take hold on them.

²³ So that your foot may be red with blood, and the tongues of your dogs with the same.

²⁴ We see your going, O God: even the going of my God, my King, into the holy place.

²⁵ The makers of songs go before, the players of music come after, among the young girls playing on brass instruments.

²⁶ Give praise to God in the great meeting; even the Lord, you who come from the fountain of Israel.

²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring them again from the depth of the sea;

²³ That thou mayest dip thy foot in blood: the tongue of thy dogs has its portion from enemies.

²⁴ They have seen thy goings, O God, the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

²⁵ The singers went before, the players on stringed instruments after, in the midst of maidens playing on tabrets.

²⁶ In the congregations bless ye God, the Lord, — ye from the fountain of Israel.

²² And they gave me gall for my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

²³ Let their table become as a snare before them, and a recompense, and a stumblingblock.

²⁴ Let their eyes be darkened that they see not; and their back bend thou down always.

²⁵ Pour out thy indignation upon them: and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

²⁶ Let their habitation be made desolate: and let there be none to dwell in their tabernacles.

²² The Lord says, “I will drag them down from Bashan; I will drag them up from the depths of the sea,

²³ so that you may walk in their blood. Even your dogs will have their share of your enemies.”

²⁴ People watch your processions, God—the processions of my God and King as they go into the Temple.

²⁵ The singers are at the front, the musicians at the back, and in the middle girls playing tambourines.

²⁶ Praise God, everyone who has come to worship; praise the Lord, everyone who belongs to Israel.

²² The Lord hath sayde, I will bring my people againe from Bashan: I will bring them againe from the depths of the Sea:

²³ That thy foote may bee dipped in blood, and the tongue of thy dogges in the blood of the enemies, euen in it.

²⁴ They haue seene, O God, thy goings, the goings of my God, and my King, which art in the Sanctuarie.

²⁵ The singers went before, the players of instruments after: in the middes were the maides playing with timbrels.

²⁶ Praise yee God in the assemblies, and the Lord, ye that are of the fountaine of Israel.

²² (68-23) The Lord said: 'I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea;

²³ (68-24) That thy foot may wade through blood, that the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies.'

²⁴ (68-25) They see Thy goings, O God, even the goings of my God, my King, in holiness.

²⁵ (68-26) The singers go before, the minstrels follow after, in the midst of damsels playing upon timbrels.

²⁶ (68-27) 'Bless ye God in full assemblies, even the Lord, ye that are from the fountain of Israel.'

²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

²³ That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, And the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

²⁴ They have seen thy goings, O God; Even the goings of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

²⁵ The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; Among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

²⁶ Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel.

²² (68:23) The Lord hath said, From Bashan will I bring back, I will bring back from the depths of the sea:

²³ (68:24) In order that thou mayest wade with thy feet in blood, feeding the tongue of thy dogs from the enemies' blood.

²⁴ (68:25) Men see thy goings forth, O God! the goings forth of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

²⁵ (68:26) First come singers, then follow players on instruments, in the midst of maidens playing on timbrels.

²⁶ (68:27) In assemblies bless ye God, praise the Lord, ye sprung from Israel's fountain.

²⁵ The singers go before, the minstrels follow, Amidst damsels playing on timbrels.

²⁶ Praise ye God in your assemblies; Praise the Lord, all ye from the fountain of Israel!

²² The Lord said: “I will bring you home from Bashan, home from the depths of the sea,

²³ that your feet you may bathe in blood, and your dogs lick their share of the foe.”

²⁴ In the temple appear God's triumphal processions, processions in praise of my king and my God,

²⁵ with singers in front, and minstrels behind, and maidens with timbrels between them, singing,

²⁶ “You of the well-spring of Israel, bless the Lord God in the dance.”

²² The Lord said: “I will bring you home from Bashan, home from the depths of the sea,

²³ that your feet you may bathe in blood, and your dogs lick their share of the foe.”

²⁴ In the temple appear God's triumphal processions, processions in praise of my king and my God,

²⁵ with singers in front, and minstrels behind, and maidens with timbrels between them, singing,

²⁴ They have seen your processions, God, the processions of my God, my King, into the holy place.

²⁵ The singers went first, the minstrels followed after, and in the middle were the unmarried girls playing tambourines.

²⁶ Bless God in the assemblies; praise Yahweh, you who are from the fountain of Israel.

²² The Lord said, “I will bring you again from Bashan, I will bring you again from the depths of the sea,

²³ that you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”

²² The Lord said, I shall turn from Bashan; I shall turn into the depth of the sea.

²³ That thy foot be dipped in blood; the tongue of thy dogs be dipped in blood of the enemies of him.

²⁴ God, they saw thy goings in; the goings-in or in-goings of my God, of my king, which is in the holy place.

²⁵ Princes joined with singers came before; in the middle or in the midst of young damsels singing in tympans.

²⁶ In churches bless ye God; bless ye the Lord from the wells of Israel.

²² The Lord said, I shall turn (again) from Bashan; I shall turn (again) into the depth of the sea. (The Lord said, I shall return from Bashan; I shall return from the depths of the sea./The Lord said, I shall bring back my people from Bashan; I shall bring them back from the depths of the sea.)

²³ That thy foot be dipped in blood; the tongue of thy dogs be dipped in (the) blood of the enemies of him. (So that thy feet can be dipped in the blood of thy enemies; and so that the tongues of thy dogs can also be dipped in their blood.)

²⁴ God, they saw thy goings in; the goings in of my God, of my king, which is in the holy (place). (God, they saw thy procession; yea, the procession of my God, of my King, who is in the holy place, or in the sanctuary.)

²⁵ Princes joined with singers came before; in the middle/in the midst of young damsels singing in tympans. (First came the singers; then the players of the instruments, and after them the young women, singing with tympans or playing tambourines.)

²⁶ In churches bless ye God; bless ye the Lord from the wells of Israel. (Bless ye God in the congregations; bless the Lord all ye tribes of Israel.)

²² The Lord said: 'From Bashan I bring back, I bring back from the depths of the sea.

²³ So that thou dashest thy foot in blood, In the blood of enemies — the tongue of Thy dogs.'

²⁴ They have seen Thy goings, O God, Goings of my God, my king, in the sanctuary.

²⁵ Singers have been before, Behind are players on instruments, In the midst virgins playing with timbrels.

²⁶ In assemblies bless ye God, The Lord — from the fountain of Israel.
