²⁰ God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.

²¹ But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.

²² The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring them again from the depths of the sea;

²³ That thou mayest crush them, dipping thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies.

²⁴ They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.

²⁵ The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.

²⁶ Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, ye that are of the fountain of Israel.

²⁷ There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah and their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.

²⁸ Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

²⁹ Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee.

³⁰ Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.

³¹ Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.

³² Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; Selah

³³ To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.

³⁴ Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.

³⁵ O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

²¹ My soul has waited for reproach and misery; and I waited for one to grieve with me, but there was none; and for one to comfort me, but I found none.

²⁷ because they persecuted him whom thou hast smitten; and they have added to the grief of my wounds.

²⁸ Add iniquity to their iniquity; and let them not come into thy righteousness.

²⁹ Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and let them not be written with the righteous.

³⁰ I am poor and sorrowful; but the salvation of thy countenance has helped me.

³¹ I will praise the name of my God with a song, I will magnify him with praise;

³² and this shall please God more than a young calf having horns and hoofs.

³³ Let the poor see and rejoice; seek the Lord diligently, and ye shall live.

³⁴ For the Lord hears the poor, and does not set at nought his fettered ones.

³⁵ Let the heavens and the earth praise him, the sea, and all things moving in them.

²⁰ Our God is the God who saves us; He is Yahweh, our Lord, the one who ◄allows us to escape/prevents us► from being killed in battles.

²¹ But God will smash the heads of his enemies, the skulls of those who continue to behave sinfully.

²² The Lord said, “I will bring back the corpses of those who were killed in Bashan, and I will bring back those who sank deep in the ocean and drowned.

²³ I will do that in order that you may wash your feet in their blood, and your dogs can also lap up some of your enemies' blood.”

²⁴ God, many people see you march triumphantly into your sacred temple, celebrating that you have defeated your enemies. You march like a king does, and a large crowd walks with you.

²⁵ The singers are in front, and the people who play stringed instruments are at the rear, and young women who are beating their tambourines are between them.

²⁶ They are all singing, “You Israeli people, praise God when you gather together; praise Yahweh, all you who are descendants of Jacob!”

²⁷ First come the people of the tribe of Benjamin, the smallest tribe, and following them come the leaders of the tribe of Judah and their group, and following them come the leaders of the tribes of Zebulun and Naphtali.

²⁸ God, show people that you are very powerful; show people the power with which you have helped us previously.

²⁹ Show that power from your temple in Jerusalem, where kings bring gifts to you.

³⁰ Rebuke your enemies, such as those in Egypt who are like wild hippopotamuses/animals that live in the reeds; and powerful nations that are like bulls that are among their calves MET; rebuke/trample them until they bow down and give you gifts of silver. Scatter the people who enjoy making wars.

³¹ Then people will bring gifts of bronze (OR, of cloth) to you from Egypt; the people in Ethiopia will lift up their hands to praise you.

³² You people who are citizens of kingdoms/countries all over the world, sing to God! Sing praises to the Lord!

³³ Sing to the God, the one who rides acoss the sky, the sky that he created long ago. Listen as he shouts with a very powerful voice.

³⁴ Proclaim that God is very powerful; he is the king that rules over Israel, and in the skies he also shows that he is powerful.

³⁵ God is awesome as he comes out of his sacred temple; he is the God whom we Israeli people worship. He makes DOU his people very powerful. Praise God!

²⁴ We see your going, O God: even the going of my God, my King, into the holy place.

²⁵ The makers of songs go before, the players of music come after, among the young girls playing on brass instruments.

²⁶ Give praise to God in the great meeting; even the Lord, you who come from the fountain of Israel.

²⁷ There is little Benjamin ruling them, the chiefs of Judah and their army, the rulers of Zebulun and the rulers of Naphtali.

²⁸ O God, send out your strength; the strength, O God, with which you have done great things for us,

²⁹ Out of your Temple in Jerusalem.

³⁰ Say sharp words to the beast among the water-plants, the band of strong ones, with the lords of the peoples, put an end to the people whose delight is in war.

³¹ Kings will give you offerings, they will come out of Egypt; from Pathros will come offerings of silver; Ethiopia will be stretching out her hands to God.

³² Make songs to God, you kingdoms of the earth; O make songs of praise to the Lord; (Selah.)

³³ To him who goes or the clouds of heaven, the heaven which was from earliest times; he sends out his voice of power.

³⁴ Make clear that strength is God's: he is lifted up over Israel, and his power is in the clouds.

³⁵ O God, you are to be feared in your holy place: the God of Israel gives strength and power to his people. Praise be to God.

²⁰ Our God is the God of salvation; and with Jehovah, the Lord, are the goings forth even from death.

³⁵ Let the heavens and the earth praise him; the sea, and every thing that creepeth therein.

²⁰ For us, God is a God who saves. The Lord God provides our escape from death.

²¹ But God will crush the heads of his enemies, the hairy heads of those who continue to sin.

²² The Lord says, “I will drag them down from Bashan; I will drag them up from the depths of the sea,

²³ so that you may walk in their blood. Even your dogs will have their share of your enemies.”

²⁴ People watch your processions, God—the processions of my God and King as they go into the Temple.

²⁵ The singers are at the front, the musicians at the back, and in the middle girls playing tambourines.

²⁶ Praise God, everyone who has come to worship; praise the Lord, everyone who belongs to Israel.

²⁷ There is the little tribe of Benjamin, followed by the many leaders from Judah; then come the leaders of Zebulun and Naphtali.

²⁸ Display your power, God! Reveal your strength, Lord, as you have done for us in the past.

²⁹ Because of your Temple in Jerusalem, kings bring tribute to you.

³⁰ Condemn the beasts of the reeds, the bulls and calves! May they be humbled and bring bars of silver in tribute! Scatter the war-loving nations!

³¹ Let Egypt come with bronze gifts; let Ethiopia come quickly and hand over their tributes to God!

³² Sing to God, kingdoms of the earth, sing praises to the Lord. Selah.

³³ Sing to the rider of the ancient heavens, his strong voice sounding like thunder!

³⁴ Let everyone know of God's power: how his majesty extends over Israel, how his strength is revealed in the heavens.

³⁵ How awesome is God in his Temple! The God of Israel gives strength and power to his people! Praise God!

²⁸ Thy God hath appointed thy strength: stablish, O God, that, which thou hast wrought in vs,

²⁹ Out of thy Temple vpon Ierusalem: and Kings shall bring presents vnto thee.

³⁰ Destroy the company of the spearemen, and multitude of the mightie bulles with the calues of the people, that tread vnder feete pieces of siluer: scatter the people that delite in warre.

³¹ Then shall the princes come out of Egypt: Ethiopia shall hast to stretche her hands vnto God.

³³ To him that rideth vpon ye most high heauens, which were from the beginning: beholde, he will send out by his voice a mightie sound.

³⁴ Ascribe the power to God: for his maiestie is vpon Israel, and his strength is in the cloudes.

²⁴ God, they saw thy goings in; the goings in of my God, of my king, which is in the holy (place). (God, they saw thy procession; yea, the procession of my God, of my King, who is in the holy place, or in the sanctuary.)

²⁵ Princes joined with singers came before; in the middle/in the midst of young damsels singing in tympans. (First came the singers; then the players of the instruments, and after them the young women, singing with tympans or playing tambourines.)

²⁶ In churches bless ye God; bless ye the Lord from the wells of Israel. (Bless ye God in the congregations; bless the Lord all ye tribes of Israel.)

²⁷ There (is) Benjamin, a young man; in the ravishing of mind. The princes of Judah were the dukes of them; the princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali. (There is Benjamin, the smallest tribe, in the lead. Then the leaders of Judah with their company, and the leaders of Zebulun, and the leaders of Naphtali.)

²⁸ God, command thou to thy virtue; God, confirm thou this thing, which thou hast wrought in us. (God, command thou to thy strength, or thy power; God, show thy strength, in what thou has wrought for us.)

²⁹ From thy temple, which is in Jerusalem; kings shall offer gifts to thee. (For thy Temple, which is in Jerusalem, kings shall offer gifts to thee.)

³⁰ Blame thou the wild beasts of the reed, the gathering together of bulls is among the kine of peoples; that they exclude them that be proved by silver. Destroy thou folks that will battles, (Rebuke thou the wild beasts of the reeds, that gathering together of bulls, that herd of peoples; until they all bow low, and offer thee their silver. Yea, destroy thou the nations that delight in battles.)

³¹ legates shall come from Egypt; Ethiopia shall come before the hands thereof to God. (Ambassadors shall come from Egypt; Ethiopia shall raise up her hands to God.)

³² Realms of the earth, sing ye to God; say ye psalm to the Lord. Sing ye to God; (Kingdoms of the earth, sing ye to God; sing ye a song to the Lord. Sing ye to God;)

³³ that ascended on the heaven of heaven at the east. Lo! he shall give to his voice the voice of virtue, (who rideth upon the heavens of the heavens, from the old days. Behold! he sendeth out his voice, a strong voice.)

³⁴ give ye glory to God on Israel; his great doing and his virtue is in the clouds. (Tell ye out the strength of God; yea, his glory, or his majesty, is over Israel, and his power, or his might, is in the heavens.)

³⁵ God is wonderful in his saints; God of Israel, he shall give virtue, and strength, to his people; blessed be God. (God is wonderful as he cometh from his sanctuary; the God of Israel, he shall give power, and strength, to his people; blessed be God.)

²⁰ God Himself is to us a God for deliverances, And Jehovah Lord hath the outgoings of death.

²¹ Only — God doth smite The head of His enemies, The hairy crown of a habitual walker in his guilt.
