¹ For the Chief Musician; A Psalm of David, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; Let them also that hate him flee before him.

² As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

³ But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.

⁴ Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; His name is Jehovah; and exult ye before him.

² Save me, O God; for the waters have come in to my soul.

³ I am stuck fast in deep mire, and there is no standing: I am come in to the depths of the sea, and a storm has overwhelmed me.

⁴ I am weary of crying, my throat has become hoarse; mine eyes have failed by my waiting on my God.

³ But righteous people should be joyful; they should rejoice when they are in God's presence; they should be happy, and be very joyful.

⁴ Sing to God; sing to praise him; sing a song (OR, make a road) for him who rides on the clouds; his name is Yahweh; be glad when you are in his presence.

² Let them be like smoke before the driving wind; as wax turning soft before the fire, so let them come to an end before the power of God.

³ But let the upright be glad; let them have delight before God; let them be full of joy.

⁴ Make songs to God, make songs of praise to his name; make a way for him who comes through the waste lands; his name is Jah; be glad before him.

² SAVE me, O God: for the waters are come in even unto my soul.

³ I stick fast in the mire of the deep: and there is no sure standing. I am come into the depth of the sea: and a tempest hath overwhelmed me.

⁴ I have laboured with crying; my jaws are become hoarse: my eyes have failed, whilst I hope in my God.

¹ For the music director. A psalm of David. A song. Stand up, God, and scatter your enemies. Let those who hate him run away from him!

² Blow them away as if they were smoke; melt them like beeswax in a fire. Let the wicked die in God's presence.

³ But those who are right with God are happy, and they celebrate in God's presence, full of joy.

⁴ Sing praises to God! Sing praises to his wonderful reputation! Praise the rider of the clouds—his name is the Lord! Be happy in his presence!

¹ To him that excelleth. A Psalme or song of David. God will arise, and his enemies shalbe scattered: they also that hate him, shall flee before him.

² As the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou driue them away: and as waxe melteth before the fire, so shall the wicked perish at the presence of God.

³ But the righteous shalbe glad, and reioyce before God: yea, they shall leape for ioye.

⁴ Sing vnto God, and sing prayses vnto his name: exalt him that rideth vpon the heauens, in his Name Iah, and reioyce before him.

³ But the righteous are glad and rejoice in his presence, Yea, they exult exceedingly.

⁴ Sing unto God; sing praises to his name! Prepare a way for him who rideth through the desert! Jehovah is his name; be joyful in his presence!

³ But the righteous rejoice in God's presence, they exult with exceeding joy.

⁴ Sing to God, make music to his name, his name is the Lord, praise him who rides on the clouds, and exult in his presence.

² As smoke faileth, fail they; as wax floateth or floweth from the face of fire, so perish the sinners from the face of God.

³ And just or rightwise men eat, and make they fully joy or full out glad they in the sight of God; and delight they in gladness.

⁴ Sing ye to God, say ye psalm to his name; make ye a way to him, that ascendeth or goeth up on the going down, the Lord is name of him. Make ye fully joy or Full out joyeth in his sight, his enemies shall be troubled from the face of him,

² As smoke faileth, fail they; as wax floateth (away) from the face of fire, so perish the sinners from the face of God. (Like smoke vanisheth, so let them vanish; like wax melteth in the fire, so let the sinners perish in the presence of God.)

³ And just men eat, and make they fully joy in the sight of God; and delight they in gladness. (But the righteous be glad, and make full out joy, or rejoice, before God; yea, delight they, and be glad.)

⁴ Sing ye to God, say ye psalm to his name; make ye a way to him, that ascendeth on the going down, the Lord is name of him. Make ye fully joy in his sight, (his) enemies shall be troubled from the face of him, (Sing ye to God, sing ye a song to his name; make ye a way for him, who rideth over the plains of the desert or who rideth upon the clouds, yea, the Lord is his name. Make ye full out joy, or rejoice, before him, but his enemies shall be troubled before him,)

¹ To the Overseer. — A Psalm, a song of David. Rise doth God — scattered are His enemies! And those hating Him flee from His face.

² As the driving away of smoke Thou drivest away, As the melting of wax before fire, The wicked perish at the presence of God.

³ And the righteous rejoice, they exult before God, And they joy with gladness.
