³ Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power shall thine enemies submit themselves unto thee.

⁴ All the earth shall worship thee, And shall sing unto thee; They shall sing to thy name. Selah

⁵ Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in his doing toward the children of men.

⁶ He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot: There did we rejoice in him.

⁷ He ruleth by his might for ever; His eyes observe the nations: Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

⁸ Oh bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of his praise to be heard;

⁹ Who holdeth our soul in life, And suffereth not our feet to be moved.

¹⁰ For thou, O God, hast proved us: Thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

¹¹ Thou broughtest us into the net; Thou layedst a sore burden upon our loins.

¹² Thou didst cause men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

¹³ I will come into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will pay thee my vows,

¹⁴ Which my lips uttered, And my mouth spake, when I was in distress.

³ That men may know thy way on the earth, thy salvation among all nations.

⁴ Let the nations, O God, give thanks to thee; let all the nations give thanks to thee.

⁵ Let the nations rejoice and exult, for thou shalt judge the peoples in equity, and shalt guide the nations on the earth. Pause.

³ They should say to God, “The things that you do are awesome! You are very powerful, with the result that your enemies ◄cringe/bow down► in front of you.”

⁴ Everyone on the earth should worship God and sing to praise him and honor him MTY.

⁵ Come and think about what God has done! Think about the awesome things that he has done.

⁶ He caused the Red Sea to become dry land, with the result that our ancestors were able to walk right through it. There we rejoiced because of what he had done.

⁷ By his great power he rules forever , and he keeps watching all the nations to see what things they do, so those nations that want to rebel against him should not be proud.

⁸ You people of all nations, praise our God! Praise him loudly in order that people will hear you as you praise him.

⁹ He has kept us alive, and he has not allowed us to ◄stumble/be defeated►.

¹⁰ God, you have tested us; you have allowed us to experience great difficulties to make our lives become pure as people put precious metals in a hot fire to burn out what is impure MET.

¹¹ It is as if you allowed us to fall into traps MET, and you forced us to endure difficult things which were like putting heavy loads on our backs MET.

¹² You allowed our enemies to trample on us; we experienced difficulties/troubles that were like MET walking through fires and floods, but now you have brought us into a place where we have plenty.

¹³ Yahweh, I will bring to your temple offerings that are to be completely burned on the altar; I will offer to you what I promised.

¹⁴ When I was experiencing much trouble, I said that I would bring offerings to you if you rescued me; and you did rescue me, so I will bring to you what I promised.

³ Let the nations, O God, give thanks to you; let all the nations give thanks to you.

⁴ Let the nations rejoice and exult, for you shall judge the peoples in equity, and shall guide the nations on the earth. Pause.

⁵ Let the peoples, O God, give thanks to you; let all the peoples give thanks to you.

⁶ The earth has yielded her fruit; let God, our God bless us.

⁷ Let God bless us; and let all the ends of the earth fear him.

³ Say to God, How greatly to be feared are your works! because of your great power your haters are forced to put themselves under your feet.

⁴ Let all the earth give you worship, and make songs to you; let them make songs to your name. (Selah.)

⁵ Come and see the works of God: he is to be feared in all he does to the children of men.

⁶ The sea was turned into dry land: they went through the river on foot: there did we have joy in him.

⁷ He is ruling in power for ever; his eyes are watching the nations: may his haters have no strength against him. (Selah.)

⁸ Give blessings to our God, O you peoples, let the voice of his praise be loud;

⁹ Because he gives us life, and has not let our feet be moved.

¹⁰ For you, O God, have put us to the test: testing us by fire like silver.

¹¹ You let us be put in prison; chains were put on our legs.

¹² You let men go driving over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but you took us out into a wide place.

¹³ I will come into your house with burned offerings, I will make payment of my debt to you,

¹⁴ Keeping the word which came from my lips, and which my mouth said, when I was in trouble.

³ Say unto God, How terrible are thy works! because of the greatness of thy strength, thine enemies come cringing unto thee.

⁴ All the earth shall worship thee, and sing psalms unto thee: they shall sing forth thy name. Selah.

⁵ Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doings toward the children of men.

¹³ I will go into thy house with burnt-offerings; I will perform my vows to thee,

¹⁴ Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was in trouble.

³ That we may know thy way upon earth: thy salvation in all nations.

⁴ Let people confess to thee, O God: let all people give praise to thee.

⁵ Let the nations be glad and rejoice: for thou judgest the people with justice, and directest the nations upon earth.

⁶ Let the people, O God, confess to thee: let all the people give praise to thee:

⁷ The earth hath yielded her fruit. May God, our God bless us,

⁸ May God bless us: and all the ends of the earth fear him.

³ Tell God, “What you do is awesome! Your enemies are forced to bow before you because of your power.

⁴ Everyone on earth worships you, singing your praises—singing praises because of who you are.” Selah.

⁵ Come and see what God has done! What he does for people is truly awesome!

⁶ He turned the Red Sea into dry land, and his people walked across through the waters. We celebrated there because of what he did.

⁷ He rules forever through his power. He keeps an eye on the nations, watching to make sure no rebels rise up in opposition. Selah.

⁸ Let all people everywhere bless our God, and loudly sing praises to him.

⁹ He has kept us alive, and he has not let us fall.

¹⁰ God, you have tested us, refining us like silver.

¹¹ You caught us in your net; you placed heavy burdens on our backs.

¹² You let people ride roughshod over us; we suffered through fire and flooding, but you brought us to a safe place.

¹³ I will come to your Temple with burnt offerings; I will fulfill my promises to you,

¹⁴ the promises I made when I was in trouble.

³ Say vnto God, Howe terrible art thou in thy workes! through the greatnesse of thy power shall thine enemies be in subiection vnto thee.

⁴ All the worlde shall worship thee, and sing vnto thee, euen sing of thy Name. Selah.

⁵ Come and beholde the workes of God: he is terrible in his doing towarde the sonnes of men.

⁶ He hath turned the Sea into drie land: they passe through the riuer on foote: there did we reioyce in him.

⁷ He ruleth the worlde with his power: his eyes beholde the nations: the rebellious shall not exalt them selues. Selah.

¹¹ Thou hast brought vs into the snare, and layed a strait chaine vpon our loynes.

¹² Thou hast caused men to ryde ouer our heads: we went into fire and into water, but thou broughtest vs out into a welthie place.

¹³ I will go into thine House with burnt offrings, and will pay thee my vowes,

¹⁴ Which my lippes haue promised, and my mouth hath spoken in mine affliction.

³ Say unto God: 'How tremendous is Thy work! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies dwindle away before Thee.

⁴ All the earth shall worship Thee, and shall sing praises unto Thee; they shall sing praises to Thy name.' Selah

⁵ Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.

⁶ He changed the sea into dry land: through the river they went on foot: there did we rejoice in him.

⁸ Bless, O ye people, our God, and cause the voice of his praise to be heard:

⁹ Who hath appointed our soul to life, and hath not suffered our foot to slip.

¹² Thou hast caused men to ride on our head: we entered into fire and into water; but thou broughtest us out to the enjoyment of overflowing plenty. a

¹² Thou didst cause men to ride upon our heads, And we have gone through fire and water: But thou hast brought us to a place of abundance.

¹⁴ The vows which my lips uttered. Which my mouth promised in my trouble.

³ Say to God, “How dread are your works, so great is your might that your enemies cringe to you.

⁴ All the earth does homage to you, singing praises to you, singing praise to your name.” Selah

⁵ Come and see what God has done, awe-inspiring is he in his works amongst people.

⁶ He turns the sea into dry land, and people cross the river on foot. Let us therefore rejoice in him,

⁷ the mighty Ruler eternal, whose eyes keep watch on the nations, that no rebel lift up his head. Selah

⁸ O bless our God, you peoples; sound aloud his praise,

⁹ who keeps us in life, and keeps our feet from slipping.

¹⁰ For you, God, have tested us, have tried us, as silver is tried.

¹¹ You did bring us into prison, and put chains upon us,

¹² you did let people ride over our head. We went through fire and through water, but you led us out to a spacious place.

¹³ I will enter your house with burnt-offerings, I will pay to you my vows,

¹⁴ which my open lips have uttered, arid my mouth has declared in my straits.

³ Say to God, “How dread are your works, so great is your might that your enemies cringe to you.

⁴ All the earth does homage to you, singing praises to you, singing praise to your name.” Selah

⁵ Come and see what God has done, awe-inspiring is he in his works among people.

¹⁰ For you, God, have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined.

¹¹ You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs.

¹² You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance.

¹³ I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you,

¹⁴ which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress.

³ Say to God, How terrible art thou in thy works! through the greatness of thy power shall thy enemies submit themselves to thee.

⁴ All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing to thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

⁵ Come and see the works of God: he is terrible in his doing towards the children of men.

⁶ He turned the sea into dry land : they went through the flood on foot: there we rejoiced in him.

⁷ He ruleth by his power for ever; his eyes behold the nations: let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

⁸ O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard:

⁹ Who holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved.

¹⁰ For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.

³ Say ye to God, Lord, thy works be full dreadful; in the multitude of thy virtue thine enemies shall lie (down) to thee. (Say ye to God, Lord, thy works be very fearful or how awesome be thy works; because of thy great strength thy enemies shall fall down before thee.)

⁴ God, all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; say it psalm to thy name. (God, let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; yea, sing they a song to thy name.)

⁵ Come ye and see ye the works of God; fearedful in counsels on the sons of men (or fearful, or awesome, in his counsels toward the sons and daughters of men).

⁶ Which turned the sea into dry land; in the flood they shall pass through with foot, there we shall be glad in him. (Who turned the sea into dry land; yea, they passed through the river on foot, and there we rejoiced in him.)

⁷ The which is Lord in his virtue into without end, his eyes behold on folks; they that make sharp be not enhanced in themselves. (Who is the ruler by his might, or his power, forever, and his eyes look on the nations; let not they who rebel against him exalt themselves.)

¹¹ Thou leddest us into a snare, thou puttedest tribulations in our back; (Thou hast led us into a trap, thou hast put troubles upon our backs;)

¹² thou settedest men on our heads. We passed by fire and water; and thou leddest us out into refreshing. (thou settedest men to ride upon our heads. We passed through fire and water; and then thou leddest us out into refreshing.)

¹³ I shall enter into thine house in burnt sacrifices; I shall yield to thee my vows, (I shall enter into thy House with burnt sacrifices; I shall pay my vows to thee,)

¹⁴ which my lips spake distinctly. And my mouth spake in my tribulation; (which my lips shall speak clearly, or distinctly. Yea, what I said I would do, when I was in trouble, and you helped me.)

³ Say to God, 'How fearful are Thy works, By the abundance of Thy strength, Thine enemies feign obedience to Thee.

⁴ All the earth do bow to Thee, They sing praise to Thee, they praise Thy name.' Selah.

⁵ Come ye, and see the works of God, Fearful acts toward the sons of men.

⁶ He hath turned a sea to dry land, Through a river they pass over on foot, There do we rejoice in Him.

⁷ Ruling by His might to the age, His eyes among the nations do watch, The refractory exalt not themselves. Selah.

⁸ Bless, ye peoples, our God, And sound the voice of His praise,

⁹ Who hath placed our soul in life, And suffered not our feet to be moved.
