² O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.

³ Iniquities prevail against me: As for our transgressions, thou wilt forgive them.

⁴ Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, That he may dwell in thy courts: We shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, Thy holy temple.

⁵ By terrible things thou wilt answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation, Thou that art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of them that are afar off upon the sea:

⁶ Who by his strength setteth fast the mountains, Being girded about with might;

² O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.

³ Say unto God, How awful are thy works! through the greatness of thy power thine enemies shall lie to thee.

⁴ Let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; let them sing to thy name. Pause.

⁵ Come and behold the works of God; he is terrible in his counsels beyond the children of men.

⁶ Who turns the sea into dry land; they shall go through the river on foot; there shall we rejoice in him,

² because you answer our prayers. People everywhere will come to you

³ because of the sins that they have committed. Our many sins are like a very heavy burden to us, but you forgive us.

⁴ You are pleased with those whom you have chosen to live close to your temple. We are happy with all the blessings that we receive from worshiping in your sacred temple.

⁵ God, when we pray to you, you answer us and save us by doing awesome deeds; you are the one who rescues us; people who live in very remote places on the earth, on the other side of the oceans, trust in you.

⁶ By your strength you put the mountains in their places, showing that you are very powerful.

² O sing praises to his name; give glory to his praise.

³ Say to God, How awful are your works! through the greatness of your power your enemies shall lie to you.

⁶ The God by whose strength the mountains are fixed; who is robed with power:

⁶ Who by his strength established the mountains, being girded with power;

² Sing ye a psalm to his name; give glory to his praise.

³ Say unto God, How terrible are thy works, O Lord! in the multitude of thy strength thy enemies shall lie to thee.

⁴ Let all the earth adore thee, and sing to thee: let it sing a psalm to thy name.

⁵ Come and see the works of God; who is terrible in his counsels over the sons of men.

⁶ Who turneth the sea into dry land, in the river they shall pass on foot: there shall we rejoice in him.

² You hear our prayers; everyone comes to you.

³ Even though we're drowning in our sins and our disobedience, you forgive us.

⁴ Happy are those you choose to keep close to you, those who live in your courts! We are delighted with the blessings we receive in your house, your holy Temple!

⁵ In your goodness you answer us through the wonderful things you do, God of our salvation. You can be trusted by everyone on earth, including those sailing distant oceans.

⁶ You made the mountains by your power, for you have great strength.

² Because thou hearest the prayer, vnto thee shall all flesh come.

³ Wicked deedes haue preuailed against me: but thou wilt be mercifull vnto our transgressions.

⁴ Blessed is he, whom thou chusest and causest to come to thee: he shall dwell in thy courtes, and we shall be satisfied with the pleasures of thine House, euen of thine holy Temple.

⁵ O God of our saluation, thou wilt answere vs with fearefull signes in thy righteousnes, O thou the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are farre off in the sea.

⁶ He stablisheth the mountaines by his power: and is girded about with strength.

² (65-3) O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee doth all flesh come.

³ (65-4) The tale of iniquities is too heavy for me; as for our transgressions, Thou wilt pardon them.

⁴ (65-5) Happy is the man whom Thou choosest, and bringest near, that he may dwell in Thy courts; may we be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, the holy place of Thy temple!

⁵ (65-6) With wondrous works dost Thou answer us in righteousness, O God of our salvation; Thou the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the far distant seas;

⁶ (65-7) Who by Thy strength settest fast the mountains, who art girded about with might;

² O thou that hearest prayer, Unto thee shall all flesh come.

⁴ (65:5) Happy is he whom thou choosest, and causest to approach, that he may dwell in thy courts: let us be satisfied with the happiness of thy house, the holiness of thy temple.

⁵ (65:6) With terrific deeds in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation, who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of the sea, that are far away;

⁶ (65:7) Who setteth firmly the mountains by his power, who is girded with might;

² O sing praises to his name; Give glory to his praise.

³ Say unto God, How awful are thy works! Through the greatness of thy power thine enemies shall lie to thee.

⁴ Let all the earth worship thee, and sing to thee; Let them sing to thy name. Pause.

⁵ By wonderful deeds dost thou answer us in thy goodness, O God, our salvation! Who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the most distant seas!

⁶ Thou makest fast the mountains by thy power, Being girded with strength!

² O you who hear prayer, unto you shall all flesh come.

³ Our sins are too mighty for us, our transgressions you only can cover them.

⁴ Happy the person who you choose to live beside you in your courts. O may we be filled with the joys of your house, of your holy temple.

⁵ In dread deeds you loyally answer us, O God of our salvation, whom all ends of the earth put their trust in, and islands far away.

⁶ By your strength you establish the hills, you are armed with might;

² O you who hear prayer, unto you shall all flesh come.

³ Our sins are too mighty for us, our transgressions you only can cover them.

⁴ Happy the person who you choose to live beside you in your courts. O may we be filled with the joys of your house, of your holy temple.

⁴ Blessed is he, whom thou hast chosen, and hast taken; he shall dwell in thy foreyards. We shall be ful filled with the goods of thine house; thy temple is holy,

⁵ wonderful in equity. God, our health, hear thou us; thou art hope of all coasts of earth, and in the sea afar.

⁶ And thou makest ready hills in thy virtue, and art girded with power;

² Hear thou my prayer; each man shall come to thee. (Hear thou my prayer; let everyone come to thee.)

³ The words of wicked men had the mastery over us; and thou shalt do mercy to our wickednesses. (The words of the wicked had the mastery over us; but thou hath shown mercy toward our wickednesses.)

⁴ Blessed is he, whom thou hast chosen, and hast taken; he shall dwell in thy foreyards. We shall be ful filled with the goods of thine house; thy temple is holy, (Happy is he, whom thou hast chosen, and thou hast brought to live in thy courtyards; and we shall be satisfied with the good things of thy House, yea, of thy holy Temple.)

⁵ wonderful in equity. God, our health, hear thou us; thou art hope of all coasts of earth, and in the sea afar. (With wonderful things, and with victory, thou answereth us, O God, our salvation, or O God, our deliverance; thou art the hope of all who be at the ends of the earth, and who be far across the sea.)

⁶ And thou makest ready hills in thy virtue, and art girded with power; (And thou preparest the mountains with thy strength, and thou art girded with power;)

² Hearer of prayer, to Thee all flesh cometh.

³ Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions — Thou dost cover them.

⁴ O the happiness of him whom Thou choosest, And drawest near, he inhabiteth Thy courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.

⁵ By fearful things in righteousness Thou answerest us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off ends of earth and sea.

⁶ Establishing mountains by His power, He hath been girded with might,
