² So have I looked upon thee in the sanctuary, To see thy power and thy glory.

³ Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.

⁴ So will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

⁵ My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; And my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips;

⁶ When I remember thee upon my bed, And meditate on thee in the night-watches.

⁷ For thou hast been my help, And in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

⁸ My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.

⁹ But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, Shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

¹⁰ They shall be given over to the power of the sword: They shall be a portion for foxes.

¹¹ But the king shall rejoice in God: Every one that sweareth by him shall glory; For the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

² Hear my prayer, O God, when I make my petition to thee; deliver my soul from fear of the enemy.

³ Thou hast sheltered me from the conspiracy of them that do wickedly; from the multitude of them that work iniquity;

⁴ who have sharpened their tongues as a sword; they have bent their bow maliciously;

⁵ to shoot in secret at the blameless; they will shoot him suddenly, and will not fear.

⁶ They have set up for themselves an evil matter, they have given counsel to hide snares; they have said, Who shall see them?

⁷ They have searched out iniquity; they have wearied themselves with searching diligently, a man shall approach and the heart is deep,

⁸ and God shall be exalted, their wounds were caused by the weapon of the foolish children,

⁹ and their tongues have set him at nought, all that saw them were troubled;

¹⁰ and every man was alarmed, and they related the works of God, and understood his deeds.

¹¹ The righteous shall rejoice in the Lord, and hope on him, and all the upright in heart shall be praised.

² To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

³ Your constantly loving me is ◄worth more/more precious► than my life, so I MTY will always praise you.

⁴ I will praise you all the time that I live; I will lift up my hands to you while I pray.

⁵ Knowing you satisfies me more than IDM, MET my eating a very big feast, so I will praise you while I sing MTY joyful songs.

⁶ While I lie on my bed, I think about you. I think/meditate about you all during the night,

⁷ because you have always helped me, and I sing joyfully knowing that I am protected by you as a little bird is protected under its mother's wings MET.

⁸ I cling to you; and with your hand/power you protect me.

⁹ But those who are trying to kill me will die and descend into the place of the dead;

¹⁰ they will be killed in battles MTY and their corpses will be eaten by jackals/wild dogs.

¹¹ But I, the king of Israel, will rejoice in what God has done; and all those who revere and trust God will praise him, but he will not allow liars to say anything.

³ Because your mercy is better than life, my lips will give you praise.

⁴ So will I go on blessing you all my life, lifting up my hands in your name.

⁵ My soul will be comforted, as with good food; and my mouth will give you praise with songs of joy;

⁶ When the memory of you comes to me on my bed, and when I give thought to you in the night-time.

⁷ Because you have been my help, I will have joy in the shade of your wings.

⁸ My soul keeps ever near you: your right hand is my support.

⁹ But those whose desire is my soul's destruction will go down to the lower parts of the earth.

¹⁰ They will be cut off by the sword; they will be food for foxes.

¹¹ But the king will have joy in God; everyone who takes an oath by him will have cause for pride; but the false mouth will be stopped.

² To see thy power and thy glory, as I have beheld thee in the sanctuary;

³ For thy loving-kindness is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.

⁴ So will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name.

⁵ My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.

⁶ When I remember thee upon my bed, I meditate on thee in the night-watches:

¹¹ But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

² Hear, O God, my prayer, when I make supplication to thee: deliver my soul from the fear of the enemy.

³ Thou hast protected me from the assembly of the malignant; from the multitude of the workers of iniquity.

⁴ For they have whetted their tongues like a sword; they have bent their bow a bitter thing,

⁵ To shoot in secret the undefiled.

⁶ They will shoot at him on a sudden, and will not fear: they are resolute in wickedness. They have talked of hiding snares; they have said: Who shall see them?

⁷ They have searched after iniquities: they have failed in their search. Man shall come to a deep heart:

⁸ And God shall be exalted. The arrows of children are their wounds:

⁹ And their tongues against them are made weak. All that saw them were troubled;

¹⁰ And every man was afraid. And they declared the works of God: and understood his doings.

¹¹ The just shall rejoice in the Lord, and shall hope in him: and all the upright in heart shall be praised.

² I see you in the Temple; I watch your power and glory.

³ Your trustworthy love is better than life itself; I will praise you.

⁴ I will thank you as long as I live; I lift up my hands as I celebrate your wonderful character.

⁵ You satisfy me more than the richest food; I will praise you with joyful songs.

⁶ I think of you all night long as I lie on my bed meditating about you.

⁷ For you are the one who helps me; I sing happily from under your wings.

⁸ I hold on to you; your strong arms lift me up.

⁹ Those who are trying to destroy me will go down into the grave.

¹⁰ They will be killed by the sword; they will become food for jackals.

¹¹ But the king will be happy for what God has done. All who follow God will praise him, but those who tell lies will be silenced.

² Thus I beholde thee as in the Sanctuarie, when I beholde thy power and thy glorie.

³ For thy louing kindnesse is better then life: therefore my lippes shall prayse thee.

⁴ Thus will I magnifie thee all my life, and lift vp mine hands in thy name.

⁵ My soule shalbe satisfied, as with marowe and fatnesse, and my mouth shall praise thee with ioyfull lippes,

⁶ When I remember thee on my bedde, and when I thinke vpon thee in the night watches.

⁷ Because thou hast bene mine helper, therefore vnder the shadow of thy wings wil I reioyce.

⁸ My soule cleaueth vnto thee: for thy right hand vpholdeth me.

⁹ Therefore they that seeke my soule to destroy it, they shall goe into the lowest partes of the earth.

¹⁰ They shall cast him downe with the edge of the sword, and they shall be a portion for foxes.

¹¹ But the King shall reioyce in God, and all that sweare by him shall reioyce in him: for the mouth of them that speake lyes, shall be stopped.

² (63-3) So have I looked for Thee in the sanctuary, to see Thy power and Thy glory.

³ (63-4) For Thy lovingkindness is better than life; my lips shall praise Thee.

⁴ (63-5) So will I bless Thee as long as I live; in Thy name will I lift up my hands.

⁵ (63-6) My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth doth praise Thee with joyful lips;

⁶ (63-7) When I remember Thee upon my couch, and meditate on Thee in the night-watches.

⁷ (63-8) For Thou hast been my help, and in the shadow of Thy wings do I rejoice.

⁸ (63-9) My soul cleaveth unto Thee; Thy right hand holdeth me fast.

⁹ (63-10) But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the nethermost parts of the earth.

¹⁰ (63-11) They shall be hurled to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for foxes.

¹¹ (63-12) But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by Him shall glory; for the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

² To see thy power and thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

³ Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.

⁶ (63:7) When I remember thee upon my couch, I meditate on thee in the night-watches.

⁷ (63:8) Because thou hast been a help unto me; and in the shadow of thy wings will I sing rejoicingly.

⁸ (63:9) My soul cleaveth unto following thee: me thy right hand upholdeth.

⁹ (63:10) But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go down into the lowest deeps of the earth.

¹⁰ (63:11) They shall be delivered up to the power of the sword: they shall become a prey for jackals.

¹¹ (63:12) But the king shall rejoice in God: every one that sweareth by him shall glorify himself; for the mouth of those that speak falsehood shall be stopped.

¹⁰ They shall be given up to the sword, And be a portion for jackals.

¹¹ But the king shall rejoice in God; All that swear by him shall be honored; But the mouth of liars shall be stopped.

² As I in the temple have seen you, beholding your power and your glory,

³ for better than life is your kindness: my lips shall utter your praise.

⁴ So, while I live, I will bless you, and lift up my hands in your name.

⁵ As with marrow and fat am I feasted; with joyful lips I will praise you.

⁶ I call you to mind on my bed, and muse on you in the night watches;

⁷ for you have been my help, I joyfully sing in the shadow of your wings.

⁹ But those who seek to destroy my life will go down into the lowest parts of the earth;

¹⁰ they will be given over to those whose hands use the sword, and they will become food for the jackals.

¹¹ But the king will rejoice in God; everyone who swears by him will be proud of him, but the mouth of those who speak lies will be stopped up.

² So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

⁵ My soul be ful filled as with inner fatness and uttermore fatness; and my mouth shall praise with lips of full out joying.

⁶ So I had mind on thee on my bed, in the morrowtides I shall think of thee;

⁷ for thou hast been mine helper. And in the covering of thy wings I shall make full out joy,

⁸ my soul cleaved after thee; thy right hand took me up.

⁹ Forsooth they sought in vain my life, they shall enter into the lower things of earth;

¹⁰ they shall be betaken into the hands of sword, they shall be made the parts of foxes.

¹¹ But the king shall be glad in God; and all men shall be praised that swear in him; for the mouth of them, that speak wicked things, is stopped.

² so I appeared to thee in holy; that I should see thy virtue, and thy glory. (So I came to thee in the holy place; so that I could see thy strength, and thy glory.)

³ For thy mercy is better than lives (or For thy love is better than living or is better than life itself); my lips shall praise thee.

⁴ So I shall bless thee in my life; and in thy name I shall raise mine hands. (So I shall bless thee all my life; and in thy name I shall raise up my hands.)

⁵ My soul be ful filled as with inner fatness and uttermore fatness; and my mouth shall praise with lips of full out joying (or and my mouth shall praise thee with lips of rejoicing).

⁶ So I had mind on thee on my bed, in the morrowtides I shall think of thee; (And I remember thee as I lie on my bed, and in the morning, I think of thee;)

⁷ for thou hast been mine helper. And in the covering of thy wings I shall make full out joy, (for thou hast been my helper. And under the covering of thy wings I shall make great joy,)

⁸ my soul cleaved after thee; thy right hand took me up. (for my soul cleaveth to thee or for my soul followeth after thee; thy right hand lifteth me up.)

⁹ Forsooth they sought in vain my life, they shall enter into the lower things of earth; (And they, who seek to take my life, shall enter into the lower things of the earth, that is, into Sheol;)

¹⁰ they shall be betaken into the hands of sword, they shall be made the parts of foxes. (they shall be delivered into the hands of the sword, they shall be made a portion for foxes.)

¹¹ But the king shall be glad in God; and all men shall be praised that swear in him; for the mouth of them, that speak wicked things, is stopped. (But the king shall rejoice in God; and all those who swear by him shall praise him; for the mouths of them who speak wicked things shall be stopped.)

² So in the sanctuary I have seen Thee, To behold Thy strength and Thine honour.

³ Because better is Thy kindness than life, My lips do praise Thee.

⁴ So I bless Thee in my life, in Thy name I lift up my hands.

⁵ As with milk and fatness is my soul satisfied, And with singing lips doth my mouth praise.

⁶ If I have remembered Thee on my couch, In the watches — I meditate on Thee.

⁷ For Thou hast been a help to me, And in the shadow of Thy wings I sing.

⁸ Cleaved hath my soul after Thee, On me hath Thy right hand taken hold.

⁹ And they who for desolation seek my soul, Go in to the lower parts of the earth.

¹⁰ They cause him to run on the edge of the sword, A portion for foxes they are.

¹¹ And the king doth rejoice in God, Boast himself doth every one swearing by Him, But stopped is the mouth of those speaking lies!
