³ How long will ye set upon a man, That ye may slay him, all of you, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

⁴ They only consult to thrust him down from his dignity; They delight in lies; They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah

⁵ My soul, wait thou in silence for God only; For my expectation is from him.

⁶ He only is my rock and my salvation: He is my high tower; I shall not be moved.

⁷ With God is my salvation and my glory: The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

⁸ Trust in him at all times, ye people; Pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah

³ Thus have I appeared before thee in the sanctuary, that I might see thy power and thy glory.

⁴ For thy mercy is better than life: my lips shall praise thee.

⁵ Thus will I bless thee during my life: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

⁶ Let my soul be filled as with marrow and fatness; and my joyful lips shall praise thy name.

⁷ Forasmuch as I have remembered thee on my bed: in the early seasons I have meditated on thee.

⁸ For thou hast been my helper, and in the shelter of thy wings will I rejoice.

³ How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

⁴ My enemies plan to remove me from my important position so that people no longer honor me. They delight in telling lies. They bless people by what they say MTY, but in their inner beings they curse those people.

⁵ God is the only one who gives me peace in my inner being; he is the one whom I confidently expect to help me.

⁶ Only he is like an overhanging rock under which I can be safe MET; he is like a shelter, and as a result I will never be defeated.

⁷ God is the one who saves me and honors me. He is like an overhanging strong rock under which I can find shelter MET.

⁸ You my people, always trust in him. Tell him all your troubles, because he is ◄our refuge/the one who protects us► MET.

³ How long are you going to attack me? All of you against one man! To you I'm just a broken wall, a collapsed fence.

⁴ They plan to throw me down from my high position; they love to tell lies. They say nice things to me, but inside they're cursing me. Selah.

⁵ Only in God do I find peace; my hope comes from him.

⁶ He is the one who protects me and saves me; he keeps me safe so I will not be in danger.

⁷ My salvation and my success come from God alone; God is my security and my protection.

⁸ My people, always trust in him. Pour out all your thoughts to him, for he is the one who looks after us. Selah.

⁶ Yet is hee my strength, and my saluation, and my defence: therefore I shall not be mooued.

⁷ In God is my saluation and my glory, the rocke of my strength: in God is my trust.

⁸ Trust in him alway, ye people: powre out your hearts before him, for God is our hope. Selah.

⁵ (62:6) Yea, in God hope in silence, my soul; for from him is my expectation.

⁶ (62:7) Only he is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence: I shall not be moved.

⁷ (62:8) With God are my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength and my protection are in God.

⁸ (62:9) Trust in him at all times, O ye people; pour out before him your heart: God is a protection for us. Selah.
